CTV Misidentifies VT Killer, Falls for Internet Hoax
Unbelievable. A few days ago we beat Allahpundit by a few minutes and became the first to debunk the internet myth that had quickly fingered Wayne Chiang as the Virginai Tech mass murderer. He wasn't. But apparently they didn't get the memo up in the Great White North.
Yesterday, the publicly owned Canadian Television broadcast a series of pictures of VT killer Seung Hui Cho. The only problem? Two of those pictures was actually of the VT gun enthusiast, Wayne Chiang. They actually lifted these photos straight off of Wayne's webpage, and then interlaced the images with those of the VT killer's video.
I guess all Asians look alike in Canada!
Wayne, for his part, is pretty miffed. You can see the CTV video and hear his reaction here.

CTV is not publicly owned. CBC (The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) is the public broadcaster, CTV is the equivalent of CNN.

Do you think if we were to unmask Letterman and place the real him next to the newly discovered "nasty" Imus we just might find two brothers who were separated in their youth? Can a sadist live within humor? Can a sadist hide within humor? Or, is Letterman the masochist here? Two narcissists for sure. I do like Dave's hair more than the I man's. And that wife of Imus...ain't she a mean one! I will bet the Imus family ends up with the ranch here in New Mexico, though...unlike Michael Jackson...another man who tried to help the kids. Time to shower, this filth is too much!

"The only thing the Manolo would recommend for the future is that the Speaker Nancy should tie the scarf behind the head, instead of under the chin, and push it back slightly from the forehead so that she does not look so much like the tiny little Sicilian peasant woman out for the afternoon of grape-stomping."

7:30pm - 9:30pm
THH-101 (University of Southern California)
If you're not familiar with the campus, I'd park on Jefferson or Hoover (free street parking after 6 p.m.). Enter the campus at the Trousdale Pkwy entrance, which is just a few yards from where Hoover dead ends into the school. Walk past the waterfountain and THH is the first major building on your right, or ask any student for directions.
Knowing USC like I do, I'd expect to see a few, but not many, protesters in front of the building. Remember, until recently USC's Muslim Student Association hosted wanted al Qaeda terrorist and Southern California native Adam "Azzam al Amreki" Gadahn's conversion story on their website.
But even with the MSA, a front for the the Muslim Brotherhood, on campus, this still is USC. The kind of place where girls from Middle Eastern countries are far more likely to have breast implants than wear the hijab.
UPDATE: Within minutes of posting this came this press release from David Horowitz. He's organized the showing of the film at 70 campuses, simultaneously, three days after the USC event. One of those campuses is at UCLA. Which just goes to show that USC students are always three steps ahead of their UCLA counterparts.
Info on the event called "Islamo-Fascism Awareness Day" and the 70 participating schools below.

My point in posting that link (China overtakes U.S. in exports: Asian nation set to become world’s biggest exporter by 2008) is we are losing our economic a$$es to the COMMUNISTS faster than you can say "clear and present danger" or how about "the greatest threat to our way of life"? Someone please point me to a blog that isn't liberal and does deal with China? Go ahead and google it - here's some choice excerpts: "The China Threat. Is it real, and if so what is it?" or "Two reasons China isn't a threat. China's ownership of our currency means they have ..." can't wait to tattoo that last one on my forehead. Tbone: You know nothing. We are losing our exports advantage to Capitalist in China. Capitalist's that are pardnered with companies like Wal-Mart. Did you know that in China all Wal-Mart employees are unionized? The Chinese do it cheaper. Wal-Mart sells it cheaper. Americans like to buy things that are cheaper. China being one of the 5 remaining communist nations on earth has nothing to do with the exports. Cheap products at cheap prices is everything. For now. Besides this will spell the end of communist China. Wait until their kids get a taste of Levys, McDonalds and country music.

Leonardo DiCaprio Kills bin Laden! In an upcoming movie, Leonardo DiCaprio hunts down Osama bin Laden, kills him with his bare hands, and then systematically dismantles the al Qaeda network while simultaneously solving the panda bear impotence problem and reversing global warming......with his mind. At least, that's how the script was pitched to me.
Leo...is there anything he can't do?
Leonardo DiCaprio will be showing his tougher side once again when he tracks an Al Qaeda leader in his newest action flick.
DiCaprio will be playing the part of a journalist-turned-CIA agent who is given the task of locating a terrorist in Jordan.
To be directed by Ridley Scott, the new drama has been named Body Of Lies, and is all set to dredge up memories of the September 11, 2001 attacks, in which Osama Bin Laden ordered the bombings of the World Trade Centre in Manhattan. [SOURCE]
To be honest, I like Ridley Scott, so just how badly Leo screws up the film remains to be seen.
Sadly, this was the top return for a Google News search of "bin Laden".

Who gives a shit what his name is? He didn't make that video, he just posted it at LiveLeak. It's an amusing video, so who gives a rat's ass what the moron who posted it believes?
It's not as if he is benefiting in any way from people watching this video... In fact, if you had not devoted most of these comments to discussing his name, he would have been deprived of any acknowledgment or benefit. If anything, it is your focus that adds to his visibility, thereby promoting his views to a wider audience.
If this guy decides to start posting South Park episodes at LiveLeak, am I supposed to stop watching my favorite TV show because a few overwrought people might misconstrue that as support for his personal politics?

This reminds me of Boston, back when I was in school in the early 1980s. The road to Logan Airport was particularly scary. Also, not surprisingly, the security at Logan was pathetic. I walked through the metal detector when no one was there. I had a butter knife with me (long story), and I was afraid that it would set something off. Not to worry -- no one was there.

The worst part of the Moscow metro? The smell of dog in wet weather. Seriously. You go from, I dunno, 18 degrees outside with tons of women wearing cheap fur coats to, like, 85 degrees in the subway and no room to take off your coat. Bumped, for its sheer awesomeness......
This is so wrong---and yet, so right--on so many different levels. I'm not sure which is funnier, the fact that the "toddler terrorists" are sent to the store for that uber-pork product Spam or that they really are terrorists despite the fact that we inadvertently blow a whole lot of stuff up? It has a very Team America World Police feel to it.

1st commenter makes a good point. I can tell you first hand that traffic in india is like a crowded NYC sidewalk at lunch hour except everyone is going 25-35 mph. It will still scare the shit out of you though.

I've actually experienced that while travelling in India. The people there cross busy street without a second thought. As a westerner, not used to it, it scares the crap outa ya the first couple of times

Seems like there's a lot of trust and good will in India.

This is what "Frogger" would look like if they gave it a 3D update and dropped it onto XBOX 360. Holy shite.

I wish we could do that in the US. It looks kind of fun. The first few times would be an adrenaline rush, then it would just be normal and convenient.
