This is a scary video.

never been to asia? controlled chaos on the roads, conditions compel drivers to pay attention. you're safer crossing an asian roadway than an american one. the drivers in that video were aware of the pedestrian crossing. if you cross in a controlled, deliberate manner and don't run, panic or do the unexpected, the drivers will be able to incorporate you into their game plan.

Looks about right to me - but to have the nerve to film while crossing - LOL

1st commenter makes a good point.  I can tell you first hand that traffic in india is like a crowded NYC sidewalk at lunch hour except everyone is going 25-35 mph.  It will still scare the shit out of you though.

I've actually experienced that while travelling in India. The people there cross busy street without a second thought. As a westerner, not used to it, it scares the crap outa ya the first couple of times

Seems like there's a lot of trust and good will in India.

This is what "Frogger" would look like if they gave it a 3D update and dropped it onto XBOX 360.  Holy shite.

I wish we could do that in the US. It looks kind of fun. The first few times would be an adrenaline rush, then it would just be normal and convenient.
