Abu Hamza Dislikes Prison, Claims Abuse, Pain, Racism

So Abu Hamza is having a hard time doing his hard time? But I thought he welcomed being imprisoned as a blessing of Allah, who is testing him?

Via The Telegraph: The wife of Abu Hamza, the jailed Muslim cleric, has complained about her husband's treatment in a high-security London prison.
Hamza, 49, dubbed the "preacher of hate", is serving seven years for inciting the murder of non-Muslims.
In a letter to a London-based Islamic organisation, Nagat Mostafa, 46, said her husband claimed to be the victim of racist bullying and Islamophobia in Belmarsh jail.
Her letter to al-Maqreze Centre for Historical Studies was sent shortly after Hamza - who is fitted with hooks on both hands - underwent surgery in May to remove an inch of bone from his left arm stump, which had become infected....
..."My husband says the racist bullying and Islamophobia against him have intensified."..

One of the workers at the prison says,

"Put it this way, we're a power station and you don't want us to explode. The radical Muslims make the IRA look like kittens."

OK, I kinda almost feel sorry for the old cripple. Lets look back at one of Abu Hamza's statements and see how we feel afterward.

According to Abu Hamza, Jewish people were subhuman and no further up the evolutionary scale than monkeys. It was Allah's will that they should be exterminated. He even seemed to suggest that Adolf Hitler had been sent to earth by Allah to carry out the task. 'Not only did they become monkeys, but Allah put a law on Earth that wherever always Allah will send in people to humiliate them, to kill them, and to punish them. And Hitler is not far from us,' said Hamza....

Well as they say, cry me a river.

Two Failed UK bombing Suspects Identified

It makes sense that people in a secret cell would be you know, secret, with you know, no terror connections. Not the guys you'll see at the public protest.

AP Via Yahoo News: Authorities identified Bilal Abdulla, an Iraqi doctor who worked at the Glasgow hospital, as the other man arrested at the airport and said he was being held at a high-security police station in Glasgow.
According to the British General Medical Council's register, a man named Bilal Talal Abdul Samad Abdulla was registered in 2004 and trained in Baghdad. Staff at the Glasgow hospital said Abdulla was a diabetes specialist.
A man arrested late Saturday on a highway in central England was also a physician, Mohammed Jamil Abdelqader Asha (image above right), police said. A Jordanian official said Asha was of Palestinian descent and carried a Jordanian passport.

Which leaves the question of what all those other missing wanted peoples function are?

British Muslim Cleric "Predicts" More Attacks

Somehow I doubt very seriously his prediction is based on some sort of logic or divine revelation.

JERUSALEM â€“ The thwarted car bombings in London last week and the terror attack against Scotland's busiest airport were "completely justified" and likely the beginning of many more attacks in Britain, a prominent UK Islamist leader connected to terror supporting groups told WND yesterday.
"There is no doubt whatsoever that there will continue to be attacks against the British government, its interests and the home front as long as we see the continued British and American occupation of Muslim land in Iraq and Afghanistan, support for criminal Israel, and draconian measures taken against Muslims in the UK," said Anjem Choudary, founder and former chief of two Islamic groups disbanded by the British authorities under antiterror legislation.
"A war is being waged against Muslims on every level. There are many in Britain who take their ideology from Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida and are ready to carry out many more attacks," Choudary said.

When I read that Rusty Humphries (who loves TJR by the way) was at last week's protest I emailed him and asked about what he saw there. Mr. Humphries emailed us some images and audio. I've wrapped them up into a single file and uploaded them to Google Video.

Thanks to Rusty from another mother for the material.

Mr. Humphries spoke to me about the possible connection between the knighthood of Sir Salman Rushdie and last week's failed bombings. He was worried no one was making the connection.

While I'm sure that provides some motivation for the attacks there has been chatter about possible attacks in Britain since late May. As you can hear in the audio above al-Qaeda and their supporters have many many so called justifications and motivations to kill us.

I feel the Sir Rushdie affair is just one of these. It may have changed the timing or possibly caused the attacks to by rushed out of anger. In all likelyhood attacks would be carried out regardless of his knighting. Mullah Dadullah called for renewed attacks on Britain well before Sir Rushdie was knighted.

They will scream about Rushdie to try and cast blame, to attempt to make us feel the bombings are our own fault. If not Sir Rushdie, they would think of another reason to blame us for their actions.

Also of note is the fact that although a British Muslim leader has said it is the duty of very British citizen to, "report suspected terrorists." These people do not consider themselves British citizens. They consider Muslims and Brits as seperate and do not recognize the authority of the UK government over them. They only recognize Britain's Shariah Islamic court which is led by Choudary.

The Central London Mosque is a favorite of Abu Izzadeen and where Omar The Goat Humping Bakri Muhammad preached his hate before fleeing the UK. More background below the fold.

though many British extremists are angered by the deaths of fellow Muslim across the world, what drove me and many others to plot acts of extreme terror within Britain and abroad was a sense that we were fighting for the creation of a revolutionary worldwide Islamic state that would dispense Islamic justice.

More news from jolly old England. Evidence was presented in the extradition trial of noted Finsbury Park goat-humper Abu Hamza that shows he forked over the cash to send this sad sack to an Al Qaeda training camp:

Abu Hamza helped pay for former student Feroz Abbasi to attend an al-Qa'eda training camp a court has heard.
An extradition hearing against Hamza at Woolwich Crown Court heard how the 48-year-old preacher financed the 24-year-old's trip to Afghanistan.
Mr Abbasi, from Croydon, spent four years in Guantanamo Bay after being captured allegedly [gotta love that allegedly - V] fighting with the Taliban.

Abu Hamza, travel agent to the Jihad. Only, you might not quite end up where you expected when you booked the trip.

The extradition trial of noted goat-humping Finsbury Mosque terrorist Abu Hamza Saleem Shaheed Sallaam Rashid Mohammed Mustafa Fashizzle Masri has fired up.

As expected, teh cryes of TORCHURE!!! have been shouted from the thatch rooftops, which are the only rooftops allowed in the environmentally friendly, gee we love the 7th Century Islamist view but for different reasons rationale elucidated by today's Leftists:

Radical Islamic cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri was part of a global terror network which plotted Jihad against the west, a hearing has been told.
On the first day of extradition proceedings against him in London, Abu Hamza, 48, was accused of involvement in the kidnap of westerners in Yemen.
The claims were made on behalf of the US government, which wants to try him.
But Abu Hamza's barrister said some of its evidence was obtained by torture and the application should fail.

Terrorist Networks "Growing Exponentially" in Britain

In Britain MI5 is expanding substantially, from 1,800 staff in 2001 to a projected 3,500 in 2008. But the number of suspected terrorist networks is growing exponentially, roughly doubling every year since the invasion of Iraq in 2003...
Dozens of people are required to keep track of a single suspect 24 hours a day. Those deemed to pose a â€œthreat to lifeâ€ take precedence, but these days there are so many of them that MI5 has to decide which threat to life appears to be the most acute.

1 This is a simple one to figure out. Monitor the individual in question for 72 hours. If you note anything out of the ordinary, just deport the asshole back to his country of origin, no appeals or legal wrangling necessary... just freakin' deport him. If he is with his family, deport the whole family too. Don't waste time trying to figure out if someone suspicious is actually doing something bad or could potentially do something bad. Don't even take the chance. If he's suspicious at all, he's probably doing some shit he shouldn't be doing. Deport his ass post haste. You see, people who don't do suspicious shit don't get watched because they aren't suspicious. People who do suspicious shit are more than likey suspicious for a reason. When in doubt, deport.

Discussions of natural eunuchs is found in Greek and Latin literature. Aristotle warned that some boys indulging in receptive anal intercourse would grow to like it and might become impubescent from birth and nonprocreative due to an imperfection of the reproductive organs (History of Animals 7.1.5-6). Pliny the Elder assigned eunuchs and hermaphrodites to the "third gender called half-male," saying this category also included men whose testicles were destroyed, either by injury or by natural causes (Natural History 11.49). Thus Pliny distinguished between eunuchs and men whose testicles were destroyed even while categorizing them together, along with hermaphrodites, as third-gendered half-males. In Physiognomy 2.3, Adamantios said that: "The characteristics of natural eunuchs are worse than those of other men. So most of them are savage, deceitful evildoers, each one more so than the last. Of the cut eunuchs, though, some characteristics change over at the same time as the cut, but most of their congenital nature remains."
Notice that Adamantios described natural eunuchs in distinctly psychological terms, having certain personality characteristics. These characteristics were not observable for the most part in cut eunuchs, who retained most of their congenital nature, i.e. as males. I translate this passage differently than Kathryn Ringrose did in her essay. She did not make a distinction here between natural and cut eunuchs, but I was led by Ernst Maass in his 1925 essay "Eunouchos und Verwandtes," who saw the "same distinction" in Adamantios as in Ulpian's statement about natural and man-made eunuchs. Notice too Adamantios's viciously disdainful attitude toward natural eunuchs. Is it not reminiscent of negative attitudes toward passive homosexuals as noted frequently in modern scholarship about homosexuality in the classical world?
In the same vein, see the statement given by Lucian's character Diocles in The Eunuch, that a eunuch is "worse off than a castrated priest of Cybele [bakÃªlos], for the latter had at least known manhood once, but the eunuch had been "cut off" from the very first and was an ambiguous sort of creature like a crow,
which cannot be reckoned with either doves or ravens"6. Likewise, Diocles's explanation that "a eunuch is neither male nor female, but something composite, hybrid, and monstrous, alien to human nature" (Eunuch 6). In Lucian's dialogue, a self-proclaimed eunuch is competing against Diocles, who is a male, in a public contest for an endowed chair in philosophy, and the male has argued that no eunuch should hold such a position of dignity and honor. The eunuch argues in rebuttal that even women can be philosophers, so a eunuch certainly can be (Eunuch 7). Nonetheless, the dispute continues. Toward the end
of the dialogue, when a bystander claims to know that this eunuch is not really a eunuch, but merely assumed this identity falsely to escape a prior adultery charge, Lucian exploits the tension existing in his time between the definitions of mutilated and anatomically whole eunuchs.
Lucian several times indicates that impotence, specifically with women, is a defining feature of certain eunuchs. It is true that half of the spectators wanted to lift the supposed eunuch's cloak and inspect him, "as they do with slaves purchased with silver"7. This corresponds to the man-made eunuch. But others had the "even more ridiculous" idea to fetch some women from a brothel and put him in a room with them and order him to have sex with them. The oldest and most trustworthy judge should stand by to observe whether he was able to perform. This corresponds to the anatomically whole eunuch, who is
impotent because he does not feel the heat of passion for women. The tests are never performed, but the reputed eunuch, who now wants to be thought of as a male in order to secure the academic position, sets to having sex with as many women as he can to prove he is not a eunuch. And the narrator of the story prays
at the end that his own young son will have the genital skills required to be a philosopher 8.
Approximately contemporaneous with Adamantios, Lucian, the Roman legislators and Rabbis Akibah and Eliezer, the Christian theologian Clement of Alexandria provided a complementary perspective about the born eunuch, by way of quoting the Basilidian Christians with respect to the gospel verse about eunuchs 9
Some men by birth have a nature to turn away from women, and those who are
subject to this natural constitution do well not to marry. These, they say,
are the eunuchs by birth.
This Middle Eastern sexual identify crisis dates to the Iron Age as well and About 7,000 years ago then (based on the evidence of stone-age artifacts), the image of God was divided into separate female and male elements, with the male as the child of the female who then returns to her as a lover in another never-ending cycle. The image of God as Mother carried over from the Old Stone Age to the New Stone Age and the development from nomadic hunter-gatherer cultures to settled agricultural communities. And still the cyclical nature of life reinforced a conception that God gave rise to life in various forms and then accepted that life back into Herself through death and then brought it back again through regeneration. Evidence of this Goddess worship covers a geographical spread from Europe through the Middle East to the Indus Valley, and similar notions of God are found in cultures around the world.
About 4,500 BCE things began to change around the Middle East and Mediterranean with the first waves of invasion by so-called Indo-European nomads. But even into the Bronze Age and the discovery of writing, the mythology of the Mother Goddess and her daughter or son-lover survives and takes on new forms. The names of the Goddess in different cultures are still familiar to us: Inanna, Isis, Cybele, Gaia, Hera, Demeter. One of the many things that the LGBT community may find interesting about ancient mother goddesses is that their priests and officiants included non-procreative men and women who were defined as gender-crossers, the lesbians, gays and transgenders of the ancient world. However, the advent of writing facilitated developments that eventually diminished the authority of the goddess cults. These included the increased importance of commerce, increased accumulation of wealth in urban centers, and the concentration of populations into larger towns and cities. The differentiation of labor and skills that developed in an urban environment led to a differentiation of deities, and the original Mother Goddess gave birth, according to the new myths, to many more deities who governed the various types of professions. The increasing competition within and between communities helped male gods move increasingly to the center of consciousness. Eventually, the younger gods overthrew and destroyed the older gods. Rivalries between cities led to wars, continued nomadic invasions increased the level of violence, cities began to build walls to protect themselves, and old ideas of life, death, and regeneration as stages within a holistic, cyclical system gave way to terror, and fear of death as the final end to life.
Prior to any government there is anarchy. Each family takes care of its own needs and the needs of its friends, and those members of the family who are most apt at decision-making naturally take on that role. Under such an arrangement, the gay members of the family usually play a special role as peace-keepers and
spiritual advisers. When families accumulate into a larger community, the gay members of each family form friendships with members of other families, but because these gay folks do not have children, they devote their full energies to the community rather than to raising offspring of their own. So the gay members of the community begin to form a priesthood to which every family contributes its members who are designated for that role by their special sexual orientation and gender status. So long as there is peace in the community, this system works well. These are true theocracies. They are generally free but are guided by a small number of unwritten rules administered by a group of people whom the Deity has designated for this purpose by making them non-procreative and spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally sensitive. The great civilizations developed as these communities grew larger and larger and accumulated wealth. Eventually, though, the wealth of certain communities attracted raiders from outside the community. It became necessary to create a military defense, and at this point the males began to assume leadership roles, although still advised by the gay members of the community.

By the time of the Muslim conquests a sizeable percentage of the Arabs were gay or bisexual so the odd juxtaposition of rigid controls on marriage and the licentiousness of sex and bestiality were already well established tribal traditions that were readily accepted by new 'converts' to the new religion of Islam.
An inescapable consequence of wide spread gay sex is venereal disease due to the nature of the practices involved. Sodomy is the Lingua Franca of Gays and the very origins of the name recount the awful consequences of this abnormal practice. Though no medical records of this period and the two thousand years prior exist we can extrapolate that Venereal diseases was common in the ancient Middle East as it is today. The Book of Genesis recounts the perverse practices that led God to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. The male anatomy was not designed for back door entry and the end result is that the fragility of the anus and rectum, along with the immunosuppressive effect of ejaculation, make anal-genital intercourse a most efficient manner of transmitting infection. The list of diseases found with extraordinary frequency among male homosexual practitioners as a result of anal intercourse is alarming:

Epidemics of sexually transmitted disease still plague the world as evidenced by the tens of millions of HIV positive individuals in Africa and even a recent outbreak of Syphilis in gay communities of Chicago, IL. These maladies were present in the ancient Middle East but any meaningful medical care was not. Medicine of this period was administered by a quacks, sorcerers and soothsayers so venereal disease was left mostly untreated. Certain forms of VD attack the brain and eventually lead to madness and eventual death so large numbers of Middle Eastern tribes were governed by leaders that had lost nearly all mental capacity due to chronic venereal disease. Nations in the region are still largely devoid of adequate medical care so these sexually transmitted plagues continue. Not long ago I was reading an article about the religion of ancient Carthage.
This article mentioned two rituals that were part of their religion, and while
I'd read about both before, I had never associated them. Seeing the two

Breaking al-Qaeda Leader Captured (UPDATED)

Via ABCNEWS breaking news email

THE PENTAGON SAYS IT HAS ONE OF AL QAEDA'S MOST SENIOR OPERATIVES IN ITS CUSTODY, HE WAS CAUGHT BY THE CIA.

Update: The man is identified at by the DOD as Abd al-Hadi al-Iraqi.

The Department of Defense announced today that it took custody Abd al-Hadi al-Iraqi, a high-level member of al-Qaida captured in the War on Terror and placed him under control of the Joint Task Force at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Prior to his arrival at Guantanamo Bay, he was held in CIA custody.

Abd al-Hadi al-Iraqi was one of al-Qaidaâ€™s highest-ranking and experienced senior operatives at the time of his detention. Abd al-Hadi associated with leaders of extremist groups allied with al-Qaida in Afghanistan and Pakistan, including the Taliban. Abd al-Hadi worked directly with the Taliban to determine responsibility and lines of communication between Taliban and al-Qaida leaders in Afghanistan, specifically with regard to the targeting of U.S. Forces. More details of his background and activities are available here.

Abd al-Hadi al-Iraqi is now under DoD custody and control and will be treated appropriately and in accordance with policy and procedures for other DoD detainees at Guantanamo. He will be treated in accordance with U.S. law and international obligations under treaties to include the Convention Against Torture, Common Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions, the Detainee Treatment Act, the Military Commissions Act, and applicable Department of Defense directives and instructions governing detainee operations.

Abd al-Hadi al-Iraqi, a former major in Saddam Husseinâ€™s army, was apprehended as he tried to enter Iraq from Iran and was transferred this week to the â€œhigh-value detainee programmeâ€ at Guantanamo Bay.

These are not the Iraq, al-Qaeda connections we are looking for, move along.

It is claimed that the police have neither confirmed nor denied it story, probably they are still looking into the claim. Since the border has been disputed in the past they may feel that they can stir up some trouble knowing that the international community will rationalize their actions. They can then agree to talks on the issue to look like they are reasonable while scoring bully points.

If it turns out to be some local reporter's attempt at ratings bosting fiction I am going to be very, very, angry.

New MPJ Category!

Thatâ€™s right! In our quest to totally foul up TJR while Rusty is on vacation, Vinnie and I have added a new category. While working on this email a terrorist thread I noticed just how much stuff we have on Omar Bakri Muhammad.

Omar is a radical cleric who has been linked to al-Qaeda and other terror organizations and plots.

Here are a few examples.

Also to update Jawa readers on this post

The same server that contains Omar, The Goat Humping, Bakri Muhammadâ€™s website also contains a number of Jihadi forums and websites. It has encryption, encryption hacking, hack tools, DDOS, various other worms and virus sites and a porn site. It is the remnants of a former ISP that specialized in carrying Jihadi websites and information. One of the websites was a favorite of the Madrid bombers.

Iâ€™m sure many of our British readers will be interested to know the same spew that resulted in the tube attacks is still being broadcast over the internet from Britain.

Iâ€™m not posting all the URLs for the sites due to the malicious software sites. But I can send them by request. Iâ€™ll try and keep you updated as best I can.

Hopefully these sites can be taken down and this provider found and prosecuted.

As a reminder of what the purpose of these sites are, here is a video of Omar, The Goat Humping, Bakri Muhammad talking about the UBL and the 7/7 London attacks before they happened.

Share your goodwill and affection for your fellow human beings. Have a little mercy for those who don't know peace, God loves them also. Jesus died for Osama bin Laden along with the rest. I know, it freaks me out a bit too. But didn't he?

It is Ok to pray for the impossible. For a miracle. In our gut, we crave revenge on Osama, but we are cleaner if we take a minute at least once, and pray for his redemption. If a miracle doesn't happen, then we get back to trying to kill him. It isn't like we didn't at least give him a chance first.

For the Atheists, please don't laugh. I wasn't joking, and so what if it seems impossible? Life is impossible. It really is one of the great things about Christianity, and I think it beats wasting money on lottery tickets.

And like I said, we can still keep trying to kill him if the miracle doesn't happen.

So my answer to Al Qaeda's death wish for us, is a prayer for the redemption of the lot of them. It does me no harm, and who knows that at least one of them might not change. Its Christmas time, and thats what I'm giving them for Christmas. A chance.

I have a tattoo of a cross with Jesus written on it, not for other's sake (although I do enjoy the look on Muslim's faces when they see it!) but as a reminder to myself when I look at it that my life is not my own and it was paid for with a great price. The New Testament (Injil for Muslims) never told us to worship a cross.

Muslims on the other hand, are supposed to face a cube called the Kabah, containing a meteorite, in the Saudi desert, when praying five times a day. This cube is site of previous moon god and pagan worship, repackaged and redefined to become a monotheistic cult that still continues today under the name Islam. The proof is on the top of every mosque and minaret in the world. What do you see? A crescent moon, the symbol of Hubal (Allah, al-Ilah or whatever you want to call it). The crescent moon symbol that has been the symbol of pagan moon god worshiping in Arabia since around 2000 BC. 7 Yeah Michael, I agree with you, even though sometimes I'm not the greatest poster child for being a Christian. Looking at hot chicks with lust (Jesus called it spiritual adultery), not turning the other cheek, swearing, hate at times towards Muslims and now the Hindu BJP in India for what they are doing to Christians there and for trying to have me arrested on trumped up charges a few weeks ago in Chennai for proselytizing when I was only calling them assholes to their faces for attacking Christians and so on. But God still uses me in spite of my disobedience and lack of maturity in becoming more Christ-like.

Unfortunately for almost all Muslims, they are born into this death cult and never got a chance to decide whether they actually want to be a Muslim. Those that choose not to are brandished as apostates and either shunned or killed by other Muslims. My friend Ratih was born into a Muslim family but converted to Christianity and married a Christian. Her family disowned her. She went back to her family to try to mend things, hoping that her parents would see their new grandson and soften their hearts but the parents spit on her and their grandson and threatened to kill her.

You're right, God loves Muslims just as much as He loves anyone else. He sent His Son to die on the cross for everyone. And as much as we hurt Him with our actions, some of us more than others, God knows us and despite all our faults still chooses us. It's up to us whether we want to choose Him and know Him.

First, some guys blame the victim. Regardless of Debbie's stances should we all condemn her criminal act.

Second, how do you know Mustaf was a good Muslim? Similar criminal events happen all the time in America. Brutal cop killing is committed by Non-Muslims all the time by Non-Muslims. Why politicize it so much when the culprit has a Muslim name? Killing an innocent person regardless of his faith is a one of the seven biggest sins in Islam. In fact, it is mentioned in the Qura;an that killing one person is like killing all humans!

Third, in the UK, I personaly know that women in niqab are checked for identity. in Islam, women in niqab are required to show their faces for identity check. In fact, it is a sin not check them as this might harm society. In all Muslim countries these women are respectfully checked. Thus, I am very suspicious about this reporting that this suspect used niqab to escape, but is possible. Even it happened, we should blame the person at the airport who did not do his/her job rather than blaming Muslim women.

Let us distinguish between the teachings of Islam as a religion followed by more than oe-fifth of humanity and the behavior of Muslims as fallible human beings.
For example, all Muslims â€œshouldâ€ believe in Jihad but as it is established in the authentic sources of Islam. However, specific groups of people might claim to be practicing that concept but wrongly construing it. Unfortunately, the term Jihad became a politically hard currency term! So, what is the â€œofficialâ€ religious meaning of Jihad and what is its purpose.
A short clarification of the meaning of Jihad from Islam's authentic sources is in order.
Jihad is from the Arabic word Juhd which means effort. Jihad that means giving effort (any considerable and sincere effort)in good causes (causes in line with the ultimate purpose of life in Islam which is to live according the way of life that God wants).
Fighting oppression is only one example of jihad. Interestingly, Muslims were not allowed to fight back for the majority of Prophet's life time when they were oppressed at the hands of Meccans. It was only when they migrated to Medina after 13 years under oppression that they were allowed to fight back:
"Permission (to fight) is given to those upon whom war is made because they are oppressed, and most surely Allah is well able to assist them" (Qura'an, 22:39)
"Those who have been expelled from their homes without a just cause except that they say: Our Lord is Allah. And had there not been Allah's repelling some people by others, certainly there would have been pulled down cloisters and churches and synagogues and mosques in which Allah's name is much remembered" (Qura'an, 22:39)

Obviously, the purpose of fighting type jihad is only for self-defense and as a last resort. It is to uphold freedom of worship. Why the propogandists in the West fail to tell the world that fighting type jihad was permitted in Islam to protect churches, synagogues, and their worshipers as they above verifiable Qura'anic verse says explicitly! It is amazing how people can mislead themselves.
From the Islamic point of view, when human equality is not respected and rights are violated, oppression occurs. Discrimination, exploitation and abuse are forms of oppression.
As mentioned earlier, pious people are supposed to revolve around the guidance of God on an assigned path without violating others' rights. Just like a runaway celestial body which gets out of its course would create havoc in the physical environment, so oppression creates conflict and disharmony in the social environment. In fact, oppression is the antonym of Islam because it is against all that Islam stands for. Thus, God prohibited Himself from oppressing His creatures and forbade them to oppress one another. God says:
â€œI have forbidden oppression for Myself and have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another.â€ (authentic hadith Qudsi).
Thus, one cannot be a Muslim and be practicing or accepting of oppression at the same time. Jihad applies whether the person herself is the victim of oppression or a fellow human being is in an oppressive situation. Further, several principles apply: 1) Muslims are instructed to stay on course and not let oppressors derail them from righteousness; 2) The oppressed need to avoid internalizing oppression by maintaining the awareness that God honours the righteous and the oppressor humiliates himself in the sight of God; 3) Muslimâ€™s seek God's help while responding to oppression because God has promised to support the oppressed.
A word of caution about online hadiths: Complex science governs how authentic, acceptable, or fabricated, etc. hadiths are classified and judged. Please do not rely on sources that do not provide that critical judgment.

We still have a pretty big problem with political correctness, and it does impair law enforcement. No pat downs of Burqa girls.

Also, my reading of the Hadith, so far shows a strong concept of the innocent being Muslims, and never infidels. The Hadith also reveal text indicating that all other sins are forgiven/ignored for one who goes forth to wage Jihad. I'm still reading.

I like that you see this as murder, and that it doesn't seem 'good' to you, but to many Muslims, some of them quite vocal in the UK, only the killing of Muslims counts as murder. The rest is justified retaliation for whatever crimes we are imagined to be guilty of.

I am an Idealist, but I came to where I am by fair means, and I feel I've earned my opinion by making the effort to get as much information as I can. I admit, I don't know everything, but nobody really does, do they?

In Islam, there are two types of innocence:

1)Innocence from sin. That is no human being's business. Only God judges. But is stated in the Quran that the only sin that God (not humans)does not forgive is Shirk or associated of gods with God. God will only forgive when they stop.

2) Innocence from crime. There is no difference between Muslims and non-Muslims on this. Justice is for all. Jihad has nothing to do with this. Muslims are required to respect the law of the land in which they live.

I hope this clarifies the concept of innocence in Islam that you raised.

As for the relationship between Muslims and non-Muslims. Like any other societies, there are two types:

1. Kindness, justice, brotherhood, and collaboration for the good of humanity. That is for non-Muslims who are not waging war against Muslims. The verse below is the source:

"Allah does not forbid you respecting those who have not made war against you on account of (your) religion, and have not driven you forth from your homes, that you show them kindness and deal with them justly; surely Allah loves the doers of justice." (Qura'an 60:00

2. No friendship. That is for those who wage war against Muslims, drive them out of their homes, or those who support them to do so. The verse below is the source:

"Allah only forbids you respecting those who made war upon you on account of (your) religion, and drove you forth from your homes and backed up (others) in your expulsion, that you make friends with them, and whoever makes friends with them, these are the unjust". (Qura'an 60:009)

My great concern is that while your expressing a tolerant view, and using Quranic verse that supports your words, there is a lot in the Quran, and Hadith that are used by terrorists. I am inclined to believe your interpretation is kinder than theirs.

Worse, the anti-Americans seem to have reasonably correct context when they make such usage of the Quran, etc. I would really like to accept that more Muslims are well meaning than not. I just am not finding an absolute Quranic verse, or Hadith, that applies to stopping the anti-American Jihadists. I don't find one verse which provides for the equal respect for all religions that we attempt through our US Constitution.

This conflicts me greatly. I want to give the idea of "moderate Muslims" a fair chance. There is one major problem with waiting to find these Muslims. I think that because a couple of hundred million Muslims think Jihad against America is a good thing, we are running out of time.

Right around now comes the darkest night of the year, so maybe this is the proper time to speak of such things. Bear with me.

If we can't reverse the Jihad against America, then America will have to destroy those who wage it. It will be the worst kind of time to live through. History has some examples of what we might expect, but we will not be prepared for the scale of it all. It will make WW2 look like fight between little children. Atomic weapons will get used, almost for certain. So will every other kind of horrible weapon. Land mines will make a comeback, and nobody will think anything of it.

No one who talks about war today seems to have any idea how tidy they have been since WW2. Right now the war in iraq is thought to be a big bloody mess, and yet the total war is no more bloody as a whole, than a single DAY of battle in WW2 could be.

Your expression of tolerance is welcome, but it can only be taken as your personal view, unless you have others who will come forward and show they support the same thing. Right now it looks like the 'extreme' Muslims are running things, and there is a lot of evedence to show that they have the numbers to force the kind of war I was trying to describe. I find plenty in the Hadith and Quran to support their hatred of US, and western culture. Jihad is justified in the texts I have seen. That makes war almost unavoidable.

So help me out here. How the blazes are we suppossed to protect, and save the peaceful, tolerant Muslims, while defeating the hateful anti-American ones? I need to know if there is a way, because I don't think we can avoid the war. It is already starting in the USA. Gunmen shooting civilians, because of their religion. How do we Americans save you who aren't the killers, if you are all mixed in with their society, and we can't tell you apart?

Please understand, many who see what I see, have already given up on saving any of you, so it is becoming desperate. Many believe that 'tolerant' Muslims are lying, or that they don't understand their own religion, or that they are secretly approving of the anti-Americans, and terrorists.

Some say you should all be sent away, outlawed or killed, because of the anti-Americans who use your religion. And I have no idea how to seperate you from the enemy. I want to, I just don't know how. I hope you are percieving my heart on this. I don't hate you, but I cannot risk losing my country to any enemy. So you need to help us tell which of you are on our side.

You must understand ...

Regarding tolerance for other religions, me too, I am not happy with peoples' attitudes and behavior toward other religions, irregardless of wether they are Muslims, Christians, Jewish, etc. But I am happy with the teachings of Islam. Below are some explicit Qurâ€™anic verses:

Concerning the concept of Thimmi in Islamic jurisprudence (the term is not mentioned in the Qur'an), here are some notes:

If you mean Thimmi, it is a grantee of honor, justice, and protection of rights given to non-Muslim minorities in an Islamic state. The term thimmah means honor. Human societies tend to discriminate against identity minorities. Islam recognizes and guards against this fact, rather than falsely ignoring this potential discrimination and claiming that society would eventually melt in a pot to became one and the same! It is closest to the modern concept of multiculturalism. It is the principle of â€œwe are different but equalâ€

I am very surprised about your fear of Jihad as a concept. Our military includes members of Budhist, Muslim, Christian and Hindu religions. They all deffend their country. For example, a large part of computer parts used in America are manufactured in Malaysia. This is worth billions of dollars annually for our economy.

As about use of nuclear weabons, I think that is a tabou that any sane person should not consider. All major religions have the nuclear weabon. This choice is suicide! No country will be saved. The nuclear weabons on earth presently can destroy the world several times over and over again!

I do not think that Yonis's verses are his personal view too. These verses are real evidence showing the official Islamic judgement on the topic. Can any one provide any other verses or authentic hadiths to the countrary? I would be very interested in studying them.

Believe me, we try our best to educate our people about the correct Islamic perspecive. It is just that we speak to them in different languages and in different forum.

There are social, economical, and political problems that cloud many Muslim's understanding of their religion.

I believe that most Muslims are peace-loving people like most Americans. I have very rarely encountered any Muslim who says he/she hates Americans. When confronted with Islamic teachings (with evidence) showing how wrong that attitude is, all of them back down. They tend to shift to their discontent with the American foreign policy towards Muslims.

Malaysia does deserve great credit for its work against terrorism and
the tolerant workings of their peaceful society. The Asian Muslims
certainly are different (with a few exceptions) from the Arabs practice of the religion and
that is the problem. The fact remains that almost all of the mosque in
the rapidly expanding Muslim populations in the West are built by the
radicals in Saudi Arabia. They build it and get to decide who the Imam
will be for those growing nest of radicalism. So despite the vastly
more tolerant nature of the Eastern Muslim population the radicals rule
in the Mosque of Europe and the Americas.

I think you misunderstood.

Anonymouse is a service that allows you to view or link to web pages via thier set of proxy servers. When using it for an emnedded link, it essentially "Anonymizes" that link so that when you send someone to a site via that link, the site owner does not know where the view is coming from. It's useful for lots of different things, and Howie used it to keep Debbie S. from knowing that all the hits on that story are coming via Jawa Report.

While he wants to USE her story, he doesn't want her to KNOW he is using it. It comes off as childish and unprofessional. Besides, it's not as though Debbie cannot and does not visit Jawa Report on a regular basis anyway, so the whole reasoning behind the use of an anonymizer link is flawed from the start.

Regarding some other people's opinions of Debbie, I read her REGULARLY and find her often insightful and always interesting. I have never at any time found her to be extreme. I may have missed a post in the past that was somehow offensive, but I'm not going to go hunting through her articles on a wild goose chase to find it.

Obviously some here do find her extreme in some way. To those people I'd simply repeat what I said in my first post. We as Conservatives simply do not have the luxury of intramural squabbling when we have a Lame Duck president, Dems in control of congress and a vicous enemy at our doorstep. If you don't like her writing, don't read her. But don't start a blogwar over it. It's that simple.

Now I know most disagree with that interpretation. However I cannot solve that problem. I can point it out. I can troll to bring attention to it. Rightfully so - as far as I can tell, the majority of muslims just want to get on with their lives, practise their religion, bring up their kids - same as the rest of us. When the UK and US went to war, we had our dissenters - people roaming the streets with banners saying 'not in my name'. I disagree with those people, but I respect them for getting out of bed on a cold day to make their point. I wish moderate muslims would do the same - visibly protest against that which they see as wrong.

No more 'buts'. If you disagree with the lunatic fringe, stand up and be counted. I'll even hold your coat.

If you read the Hadith with a open mind towards other religions, you could interpret the words there as saying live, and let live. In the context of Jihad, we run into real problems. All I'm saying about scripture is it can be read differently, and context can affect understanding. Some Muslims understand it in a helpful way.

Can we decide what it is that we feel could be called a 'Moderate Muslim'?

I think that is the area where the most confusion comes in.

To me, a 'moderate' does not want to replace the US Constitution with Sharia. A moderate prefers US Constitutional guarantees of equality, or UN human rights standards, over inmposition of 'Dhimmi' status on any populatuion.

A moderate would be offended by the arrest of converts from islam to Christianity, in Iran, and would defend the right of people to seek religious truth without fear of punishment.

A moderate allows women the same freedom of movement, and choice that is allowed a man, excepting obvious physiological impossibilities.

A moderate is offended by the use of what we in the west commonly understand to be 'children' in any military, or paramilitary role. Teenagers using slings, like we discussed on a previous thread, are child soldiers according to international law. A moderate should condemn their use.

A moderate would be offended by teaching hate to children, such as the concept of 'Shaheed' (I hope I spelled it right) There should be no excusing of children wearing suicde belts. We know it is adults who make them, and issue them, so this is also child abuse in an organized manner. A moderate should oppose this.

I'm just getting started, but I think if you join me, we can work this out. We can come up with a formal standard.

The points I make are supported by explicitly verses from the Qura'an. These are not my personal opinions. Most Muslims believe in it that way. There are of course certain individuals or groups who want to use religion wrongly to justify their actions toward political, social, or ecenomic goals. If you have specific verse or hadith that you consider fanatical, radical, extrimist, etc. you can bring it forth I might be able to help in its exegesis. Like any text, some verses are straight forward (like the ones I have provided) while others might require more sophisticated scriptural hermeneutics. I guess the same is true for Biblical hernemeutics.

Injured UK Soldier Accosted in Hospital

This really takes the cake. Here we have a brave paratrooper just returned from combat with injuries and they are allowed to be harassed by some guy running around the ward.

Telegraph UK: On one occasion a member of the Parachute Regiment, still dressed in his combat uniform after being evacuated from Afghanistan, was accosted by a Muslim over the British involvement in the country.
You have been killing my Muslim brothers in Afghanistan," the man said during a tirade.
Because the soldier was badly injured and could not defend himself, he was very worried for his safety, sources told The Daily Telegraph.
A relative of the Para said the man had twice walked on to the ward where two other soldiers and four civilians were being treated without once being challenged by staff.
"It's not the best way to treat our returning men," he said. "They are nervous that these guys might attack them and, despite being paratroopers, they cannot defend themselves because of their injuries."

Yes the brave Mujahadeen is now going after the wounded. Tell me just when will the Brits get with it and jail these people?

7 The UK has a real problem on its hands. They -- unlike the US -- have laws that prohibit using the pretext of religion for the spreading of violence. They should use them; and deport all Muslim non-citizens and citizens alike. "Back where you came from, asshole", and call it a day.

Abu Izadeen and other minions of Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammed interrupt a press conference by the Home Secretary about terrorism shouting "how dare you come to a Muslim area".

If that isn't a rejection of British legal sovereignty and an out and out declaration of open rebellion, I don't know what is. The Home Secretary says Izadeen does not believe that "Muslim areas" are part of Britain. He's right, he doesn't.

Sky News--the British Fox--tries to be fair and balanced. So, who do they interview to get a response to Izzadeen's outcries during their prime time news (not shown in video linked above)? Anjem Choudary, the head of the The Society of Muslim Lawyers and the man who was recently seen in front of Westminister Cathederal calling for the death penalty for the Pope. He says Britain is to be blamed for terrorism, not Muslims.

Both Choudary and Abu Izadeen are followers of exiled cleric Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammed.

Bryan seems the Home Secretary's restraint is admirable. Not me. Where's a taser when you really need one?

UK Freezes Accounts of Muslim Charity

From London, a Muslim charity is alleged to be channeling money to terrorists.

From AlertNet.org:

Britain's charity watchdog froze the bank accounts of aid group Crescent Relief on Thursday as part of a probe to see whether aid money had been channelled to groups suspected of plotting to blow up airliners.
The Charity Commission, a British government department, said it had launched a formal inquiry into the UK-based group, which raised money for the victims of last year's earthquake in Pakistan, after allegations in British newspapers.

People arrested on suspicion of plotting to blow up planes flying to the U.S. earlier this month are allegedly linked to Crescent Relief.

From my perspective, the involvement of Muslim charities with terrorists long ago blasted past the 'allegation stage.' It should be considered as a stone-cold fact, reversible only through complete, open, and 'down to the penny' accountability.

Some Britons are more "Equal" than Others...

I recently posted the "suggestions" of Britain's Muslim groups as to how the British might avoid "trouble" in the future. As you might expect, the foreign policy suggestions were only one side of the coin. LGF has the details on the Muslims' renewed domestic demands:

Communities Secretary Ruth Kelly had prepared an uncompromising message on the need to tackle dangerous radicalism.
But, in what she admitted were â€˜sharpâ€™ exchanges, some senior Muslim figures turned the tables yesterday and made a series of demands which also included the introduction of Sharia law for family matters.
Dr Syed Aziz Pasha, secretary general of the Union of Muslim Organisations of the UK and Ireland, said: â€˜We told her if you give us religious rights, we will be in a better position to convince young people that they are being treated equally along with other citizens.â€™

So, the British are expected to act as if they've never seen a cop flick before? "Hey, I'm with ya. I hear what you're saying. I'm on your side, here. It's my partner, there. He's the one that's...the kid's just crazy. The guys just a bad cop. No telling what he might do... How about you cough up the Sharia and a couple new holidays and we'll calm him down a bit?"

In the movies, the "good cop, bad cop" / "protection" racket works pretty well against young street punks and store owners. Will it work on an entire country? This is a grand experiment on the part of the British Muslims--poking, prodding, studying... learning one day at a time just how hard they can push the British public with this approach. So far, it's been working for them. The authorities don't hold a press conference about parking violations without falling all over themselves praising the "critical contributions" of their "valued partners" in the Muslim leadership. Only time will tell if the Brits will continue to roll over for it...

This is one of the stupidest things I have read on the web, which takes quite some doing. It's just raving conspiracy theory, isn't it? The fact is that society changes in many, many ways. The British government is allowing civil partnerships because of the decline of marriage; they're banning smoking in pubs because people are getting sick of smoking. Things change.

I personally wouldn't want to see the introduction of Islamic family law to cover some disputes. But these are discussions that a free, democratic society has.

Larry: You obviously haven't been to the UK recently. I work by King's Cross. On 7/7 we all stayed at work because we were extremely busy, including the Muslim members of the team. On 8/7 there was a bomb scare up ahead from the bus I was on coming out of Brixton, and we got stuck near Electric Avenue, so a bunch of Rastas produced a sound system from somewhere and everyone danced to dub for half an hour until the buses we were allowed through. London is the greatest city in the world, densely packed with all races, creeds and colours.

Improbulus: The UK is not a socialist state, as the most cursory examination of its governance will tell you. Even it was a socialist state, I would still fail to see your logic. Sccialism kills? What are you talking about?

Maxie is right on many points, although I disagree with his method of solving the problem. What I do agree on is that you(the UK) and to a certain extent us(the US) must draw a line on determining what we are willing to allow based on freedom. Under our Constitution, and I would assume under the laws of the UK, these people are not guaranteed the freedom to threaten others, which they clearly do, both implicitly and explicitly. When Islamists and their supporters make threats, they should be deported, and deported to their country of origin quickly, and not allowed hearing after hearing and a delay process. Quick deportations would go a long way toward solving our problems, in that moderate Muslims would feel safe in coming forward and pointing out the radicals in their midst.

Terror Plot Linked to Exiled Cleric

Sources in the U.K. have informed The Jawa Report that suspects in today's terror arrests are linked to exiled cleric Shiekh Omar Bakri Mohammed.

24 people have been arrested so far in the plot to set off explosive devices on up to 10 airplanes. At least 5 suspects are still at large in the terror plot which has been described as in the final stages of planning.

ABC radio claims that at least 2 of those suspects had made martyrdom videos.

Three suspects have been named by The Blotter as Rashid Rauf, Mohammed al-Ghandra, and Ahmed al Khan.

Hot Air, PJM, and Drudge are reporting new developments.

Glen Jenvey, a member of the London based terrorist watch group Vigil, believes that there is sufficient evidence to conclude that those involved in the plot are linked to Bakri.

Just last month intelligence supplied by Vigil to the British government led to the banning of organizations linked to Bakri.

Jenvey also indicates that some of the plotters may be linked to Abu Hamza. Jenvey's testimony was instrumental in the conviction of the radical cleric.

The Jawa Report cannot confirm the extent to Bakri or Hamza's involvement.

The Syrian born Omar Bakri Mohammed was the leader of several Salafist organizations which many claim have ties to al Qaeda. In July, two splinter groups from Bakri's orignal Al-Muhajiroun organization were banned by the British government.

The Jawa Report, with the help of a British ISP, was instrumental in the removal of the Bakri linked al Ghurabaa website.

Bakri has sometimes claimed to be the spokesman of the political wing of the International Islamic Front for Jihad Against Jews and Crusaders, led by Osama bin Laden. At other times, Bakri has denied and distanced himself from the military wing of the organization, al Qaeda.

After he was told by the British government that his presence was "not conducive to the public good", Bakri fled to Lebanon. Recently, Bakri was denied entry into to the U.K. when he tried to flee the war torn country.

Tapes made by Vigil record Bakri answering questions to followers on what he thought was a secret password protected forum. Bakri can be heard on the tape making a religious ruling that it was permitted for Muslims to attack civilian targets such as airports.

Bakri has also made statements justifying the killing of British soldiers by British Muslims in Iraq.

Other secret recordings reveal the transfer of money from London to Bakri in exile to be used for "the mujahidin".

While the organizations with formal ties to Bakri have been outlawed in Britain, dozens of offshoots have grown in their place.

The suspects in today's foiled plot have been described as homegrown terrrorists and are said to be the children of Pakistani immigrants.

Another document, written by an FBI agent before the attacks on New York and Washington, accuses Omar Bakri Mohammed, the radical preacher now barred from Britain, of sending his Al-Muhajiroun supporters to flight training schools in America.

UPDATE II: Raid in Birmingham. Why is that important? Bakri has a cell called The Saved Sect centered in Birmingham.

Raids were carried out at homes in London, the nearby town of High Wycombe and in Birmingham, in central England.

"Ibrahim didn't do nothing wrong," Ghafoor said, referring to a suspect. "He played football. He goes to the mosque. He's a nice guy."

UPDATE III: Bakri's minions respond as if on cue:

Extremists accused the Government of fabricating the extent of the threat. Anjem Choudary, the right-hand man to the cleric Omar Bakri Mohammed, said that the arrest of 24 suspects was a â€œbaseless attackâ€ on British Muslims that was designed to scare the public.
Mr Choudary said that he did not believe that a plan to commit â€œmass murderâ€ had been foiled. â€œI think this is another case of whipping the public into a frenzy over terrorism with very flimsy evidence.â€

My company wanted me back in the USA later this month so I'd have been taking one of those flights.

at Wal-mart and Radio Shack. Maps of Wal-Mart locations in the US and connections to an suspected terrorist on FBI list.

Their attorney says that if their names were Smith they never would have been arrested. Their family in traditional muslims dress shown crying for them in court.

These are the same cell phones that pop up in Iraq and used to detonate IEDs. Wonder if their families were crying for all the American soldiers killed with IEDs?

Will we ever learn? Why are these animals in the USA?
Who is still stupid enough to think we should allow middle easterner's and muslim in our land.

OUTLAW ISLAM and start deporting these animals now.

36 What is lost in all of this is we did not start this way. Islam has been declaring war on the US since the 70's and 80's. We just didn't really take them seriously. Until 1990, we were too busy fighting communism. B ut, now that communism is no long as big of a threat, we know who is next in line for the big stick.
