It turns out you can work 10 hours on posts that are original, informative, and important. Are those the ones that get read? Nope.
Any one have any links they want to recommend? I got nothing. Absolutely nothing. I'll put links in posts below for the day.

Then the Jawa Report on July 17th of this year:All of us here are honored. Can we start collecting that crazy blog money now?"Hillary/Schumer want $1 Million For Hippie Museum -- How many Troops will have to go without supplies, armor or food because Hillary and Schumer want to fund a church to hippies? 'The grassroots free-market group Americans for Prosperity (AFP) today released a list of Senate earmarks slated to be included in the Fiscal Year 2008 Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education appropriations bill. The 1,016 earmarks total nearly $392 million, and include millions for questionable projects such as $1 million in tax dollars for a museum dedicated to recreating the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival..."

Oh, and I almost forgot, they released some more crap videos.
You can email the Jihadi DDOS network here.
Adil W, email is el_fatak@hotmail.comAdil? Hmmm, where have I heard that name before? Taliban webmaster? No wonder. After all, Adil is our bitch.
Loser(s).
Sorry about that, folks. We had another little server meltdown there.Pixi reportedly fixed the problem with a little Duct Tape.I have a shiny new server with 3x the awesomeness ready to go, and we'll be migrating across to it next Sunday. That should mean a lot fewer little accidents.
Alternate theory: It was the boobie post that brought down mu.mu. Therefore, it was Ace Dave that broke the internet.
So now the Jihadis can't even take credit.
Double Loser(s).

In Thailand, visitors to the blocked websites will see a message in Thai which translates as follows.
"Sorry. TOT Plc., as an organization of Thai people, has restrained the access to this website as it contains content, text, and/or picture that is unappropriated which affects the mind of Thai people all over the country and cannot be accepted."Therefore, the government has determined that the "mind of Thai people" is affected by "unappropriated" material at Wordpress.com. It's not clear what "unappropriated" means.
Regarding Wordpress being blocked in Turkey, it appears that one blog owned by a proponent of creationism prompted a court order to block the entire Wordpress domain. However, an effort has been launched to collect signature on a petition to unblock blogs in Turkey.
Meanwhile, it appears that all Blogspot blogs are still banned in Pakistan. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority initially instituted the ban in March 2006 on Blogspot as a result of one blog carrying the infamous cartoons of Muhammad. However, a savvy blogger block workaround for determined bloggers has been developed using Google Docs.

RWN:
Robert Novak: I think it [blogging] had a hugely negative impact for several reasons. A lot of the bloggers just put out whatever comes to their mind....Read the rest. As opposed to the MSM which puts a high value on.....er....what exactly? When even carefully crafted and researched pieces are full of errors or bias, then there is something fundamentally wrong with the methodology. At least blogging is an iterative process where we fact check each other. Instead of one or two editors we have an army of editors always ready to pounce when we make the slightest error. The other aspect is that good, honest reporters are told that it's not enough to do their story for their station or their newspaper, that they have to get out and do a blog on it right away. It puts a high credence on speed, rather than care. A lot of things are said without due diligence being given to how accurate they are and how complete they are.
And unlike the MSM none of us are masquerading as 'objective' journalists. Our agendas are clearly known and readers are usually sophisticated enough to tell the differences between our own blustering opinions about the facts and the facts themselves.

In a move that might make some people scratch their heads, a loosely formed coalition of left-leaning bloggers are trying to band together to form a labour union they hope will help them receive health insurance, conduct collective bargaining or even set professional standards.Typically, a labor union has some leverage by threatening to strike against management. Bloggers threatening to strike would probably be greeted with a ho-hum or maybe even applause. The effort is an extension of the blogosphere's growing power and presence, especially within the political realm, and for many, evokes memories of the early labour organization of freelance writers in the early 1980s.
Organizers hope a bloggers' labour group will not only showcase the growing professionalism of the Web-based writers but also the importance of their roles in candidates' campaigns.
"I think people have just gotten to the point where people outside the blogosphere understand the value of what it is that we do on the progressive side," said Susie Madrak, the author of Suburban Guerilla blog, who is active in the union campaign. "And I think they feel a little more entitled to ask for something now."
But just what that something is may be hard to say.
Of course, one must also consider that utopia is only achievable when the workers of the world unite.

What started out as a post about "Martyred" Taliban Commander Abdullah Mehsud, quickly became a caption contest. Looking at this "innocent" Gitmo prisoner who went back to Pakistan only to become a top Taliban emir, can you blame us for making fun of him?
Winners in no particular order
Watergate: Dude, will you get off the radio and give me my shoe back? Why do you keep losing one shoe, anyway? Who does that?
Romeo 13: But Osama, I just done know which ones to wear... both pairs just clash with the vest... so hard to accesorize out here...
Darth Bacon: All you orphaned shoes are belong to us.
Honorable mention because we kinda have to goes toEditor: Uh, everything's under control. Situation normal... Uh, we had a slight weapons malfuntioin, but uh... everything's perfectly all right, now. We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?

Interestingly, her blog (Mandarin or English) focuses on her career as a director of films and everyday life, not the usual celebrity sleaze. Xu has transitioned away from acting to be behind the cameras. A bit of trivia, her favorite movies are The Godfather and Schindler's List.
To celebrate the 100 million page views, Xu has chosen 20 of her online fans to join her at a blow-out party.
The 100 millionth hit occurred on July 12, according to www.sina.com.cn, a popular Chinese website which provides blog services to many Chinese entertainers, including Xu who started hers in October 2005 and published a book of her blogged articles in March 2006.Notably, Xu Jinglei was interviewed last week by reporter Ellen Lee of the SF Chronicle and she discusses her attitude toward politics and the impact of the Internet on Chinese culture. Listen here in either Mandarin or English.
It's worth mentioning that Technorati, which classifies blogs based on the number of incoming links, had Xu's blog ranked at 47th last week. Nevertheless, the Chinese believe they have the world's most popular blogger.

So, Google's Blogger and Blogspot platforms are taking complaints against antijihadi sites seriously enough to take them offline, at least for a time, wheras dozens of terrorist websites remain up?
Need I remind people some of the scum and filth Google is hosting on their blogspot sites?
Caliphate Voice Channel -- pro-al Qaeda propaganda from the Global Islamic Media Front--al Qaeda in Europe.
Press Release--al Qaeda in Iraq's English language al Furqan Media Front.
Islamic State of Iraq/al Qaeda in Iraq support blog
Juba Online -- Islamic Army in Iraq website celebrating Baghdad sniper (related site here)
Nuruddin Islamic Media Network -- An official website of Al Qaeda's affiliate in the Russian Caucuses (related blogspot sites here, here, here, here, here, here, and here)
The list just goes on and on and on and on........hypocrisy, thy name is Google.
