Another Saddam Hussein Dead Video (Ambulance)

Saddam_dead_ambulance3-tmb.jpg

***Jawa Report Exclusive***

More proof that Saddam Hussein, like Franco, is still dead. This video is of the (still) dead Saddam Hussein in an ambulance as it was being transported for burial. The grainy video shows people gawking at the dead dictator's body and discussing it. The video ends with Hussein's face being covered by the body bag, the doors closing, and the ambulance driving away. His soul, I am told, had already been sent to hell.

The video first appeared on a Sunni website which claims it was taken in Karbala as the body was being transferred to its final resting spot. The film is said by the website to be more evidence that the Shia led Iraqi government "did not take into account the preservation of the dignity of the Iraqi president or guard his body after his execution". The films, more of which may be forthcoming, "all indicate blundering government militias and their inability to curb their hatred, venom and bad deeds."

Q: This is now the third Saddam Hussein death video....is there a single Shia in Iraq who didn't take pictures?*

WARNING: Graphic content. The video shows the dead body of Saddam Hussein. Images grabbed from the video also posted. more...

New Saddam Execution Video

UPDATE 1/17/2007: A third video has emerged. First Saddam Hussein hanging video here. Second video, showing Saddam Hussein's corpse below (scroll down). The third video, showing Saddam Hussein's body in an ambulance is here.
--------------------------

A video showing Saddam Hussein shortly after he was executed has emerged on the internet. The video and images from it are shown below. The first uncut, uncensored, unedited video showing Saddam Hussein executed caused quite a stir. Another video of Saddam's funeral has also been making the rounds.

This video does not show the execution. Rather, it shows Saddam's body, proportedly right after he was hanged. The short video simply shows Saddam's corpse under a sheet, and the effects that hanging had on his neck.

The video seems to have first emerged at a Shia website in Arabic, after which it was uploaded to Google.

A Little Reminder

6_21_103003_fnl_iraqtorture2.jpgDue to the “outrage” over the video of Saddam being hanged, I thought a little reminder was in order. It was Saddam who pioneered the snuff video. Saddam liked to watch the executions he was unable to attend and kept a personal library of murders he had committed in his name.

One thing that struck me is how similar some of these images are to the snuff videos that the enemy produces. Saddam used terror to hold onto power. The terrorists use the same methods.

Our original post on this matter is here.

The original videos are available here.

Quote from Newsmax via Free Republic:

* Video tapes of two beheadings, with one featuring the executioners singing "Happy Birthday, Saddam" in Arabic as they carry out the grisly murder.

* More video of a detainee whose hand his tied to a board while his fingers are cut off one by one.

* People being thrown off four-story buildings, including one who was forced to wear a Superman costume.

* A man scourged ninety-nine times.

* Videos of babies being gassed to death.

Actually I feld bad for Saddam. His last statement from via his Lawyers was touching. However, it lacked one thing. Saddam could have asked for and end to the fighting that claims so many Iraq lives. But he did not, that shows more than anything how much he "cared" about the lives of his people. So my moment of sympathy for him was short lived.

More from Prarie Pundit.

The AP's own count taken from news reports put the total at 13,738. The story fails to mention that the enemy's deliberate targeting of non combatants is a war crime. It is an aspect of the story the media has avoided since the war began. Yet, the same media gets all excited when US forces accidentally kill civilians while searching for enemy troops who are camouflaged as civilians. It is an extraordinary double standard that they adhere to shamelessly.

Official confirmation awaits.

Via CNN:

Former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein has been executed, according to two Arabic language media outlets.

Hussein was hanged before dawn on Saturday in Iraq, at about 6 a.m. (10 p.m. Friday ET), the U.S.-backed Al-Hurra television reported.

Also here on FOXNEWS:

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Saddam Hussein, the former president of Iraq, was executed by hanging shortly before dawn on Saturday in Iraq, Arab media outlets reported.

The U.S. military and FOX News have not yet confirmed that the execution has taken place. Al Jazeera, Al Arabiya wire services and U.S.-backed TV station Al Hurrah reported his death.

The man dubbed the Butcher of Baghdad was convicted of crimes against humanity for the killing of 148 Shiite men and young boys after their failed assassination attempt in 1982 in the village of Dujail.

More on why he was executed here.

For reaction from Iraq see comments on Mohammed's post at Iraq The Model.

Also see See Dubya at Hot Air, In The Bullpen and Gateway Pundit has an excellent post rounding up Saddam's brutality.

Have a laugh at the Looney Tunes coverage of the event.

because we are going to hit the 3.000 mark tomorrow. and they want to preempt the news about that.

Yes, Kos Kidz, the execution of Saddam was nothing more than a ploy to cover up the news of the next Grim Milestone. Morons.

12/30 A.M. Update: Hot Air has added video of the preparations. Scroll down.

Saddam to Hang…

...in 30 days or less.

AP Via Yahoo: The sentence "must be implemented within 30 days," chief judge Aref Shahin said. "From tomorrow, any day could be the day of implementation."

On Nov. 5, an Iraqi court sentenced Saddam to the gallows for ordering the 1982 killings following an attempt on his life.

Under Iraqi law, the appeals court decision must be ratified by President Jalal Talabani and Iraq's two vice presidents. Talabani opposes the death penalty but has in the past deputized a vice president to sign an execution order on his behalf — a substitute that was legally accepted.

The Baath party, in Novemeber and most likely from Syria, issued a statement threatening retaliation of Saddam is executed.
Iraq Updates.com: "If president Saddam Hussein is executed ... the party will reinforce its siege against the Green Zone," which houses Iraqi government offices and the US embassy, said the party's command on its official site.

Saddam Starting Hunger Strike

(Baghdad) Apparently, Saddam Hussein believes that he's not getting enough sympathy and media exposure.

From Reuters.com:

Saddam Hussein and the seven co-defendants in his trial are to start a hunger strike on Monday, the former Iraqi president's defense team said on Sunday, citing sources inside the detention center where they are being held.

"Saddam and his followers will start a hunger strike from tomorrow, protesting the illegitimate procedures and bad treatment by the court," Khamis al-Aubeidi, a leading member of Saddam's defense team, told Reuters.

Frankly, the idea of strapping the murdering thug to a gurney and shoving a feeding tube through his nose and down his esophagus doesn't elicit my sympathy. In fact, I'd recommend that the authorities be innovative in force-feeding Saddam and try a new technique. A gnarly tube through the brokeback might work.

Nevertheless, the hunger strike is nicely timed to coincide with continuation of the trial which was interrupted two weeks ago when the defense team walked out of the courtroom and protested the new judge. Since then, Saddam has whined about being abused by prison guards. It appears that Saddam and his co-defendents are trying to do everything possible to disrupt the trial "to fuel concerns about the legitimacy of the tribunal and its eventual verdict."

Don't Get Distracted

Saddam and his cronies, not to mention the laplickers of the media, are all doing their level best to distract the rest of us from the real meaning of this trial.

On Saving Saddam

Looking at pictures from carnivale (a.k.a. The Saddam Show in Baghdad), I noticed a few things. First, the odd similarities between "President" Hussein and Don Flamenco from Mike Tyson's Punch Out. Compare Don with the picture in this post and judge for yourself:

don_flamenco.jpg

See? Anyway, that was an unimportant point, as I have NES flashbacks constantly. Beyond that, I came to a startling conclusion. We MUST save Saddam Hussein. We cannot let him die. His DNA is too important to piss away, especially since his sons met a far nobler end (well, as noble as perishing in a shootout with a teenage boy in your company can be).

But why must Saddam live?

Saddam Hussein Tribunal Judge, Lawyer Killed

A judge and lawyer responsible for the prosecution of the crimes committed by the Saddam Hussein regime have been assassinated in Iraq. Judge Barwez Mohammed Mahmoud al-Merwani--a leading Kurdish politician--and his son, lawyer Aryan Barwez al-Merwani, were murdered as they tried to get into a car outside their home. Earlier reports that the Chief Judge, a man who's identity was secret until anti-war activist and reporter Robert Fisk outed him last summer, had been killed proved false.

Over 100 judges are working on various cases against former Hussein regime members. At least five former Saddam Hussein regime members have already been charged with 'crimes against humanity'.

This is further evidence that a key component of the insurgency is in Saddam Hussein loyalists. As reported here earlier yesterday, the Baathist party has been revised and is now working with jihadis to overthrow democratic rule in Iraq. more...

UPDATE: Initial reports proved wrong. Scroll down for critical corrections and information. The Judge was named Parwiz Muhammad Mahmoud al-Merani and he was killed along with his son, a prosecutor in for the tribunals, Aryan Mahmoud al-Merani.
