Logan's Run Remake in the Works

Let's just hope Joel Silver doesn't screw up the remake of Logan's Run like he did the two Matrix sequels. Flea has the details. Original Logan's Run trailer below.

One of my favorite movies of all time. Period.

Question: With the impending implosion of the Social Security system, why not just go to the Logan's Run cradle-to-the-grave welfare model? I volunteer Vinnie to be the first runner.

Follow up remark: I'll know the end of the world is nigh when they finally remake Soylent Green.

2 They end is already upon us. Will Smith takes on the Charlton Heston role in The Omega Man (under the book's original title of I Am Legend).

10 For a industry that seems to have ALL of the answers for our political and personal ills, they seem to have run out of original ideas.

Please Mr. Moviemaker, I missed the first 18 Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies would you please make another one.

Two serious questions for the oh so intellectual movie industry. Being 33 years old, will I ever see a remake of one of the Rocky movies? And secondly, will you ever decide to remake Gone With the Wind? I personally hate the GWTW movie, but I'd like to think that we as a society would refrain from ever going to a movie theater again.

11 will I ever see a remake of one of the Rocky movies?

Word is that they will have Leo DiCaprio playing the part of the heavy weight.
