Injured UK Soldier Accosted in Hospital

This really takes the cake. Here we have a brave paratrooper just returned from combat with injuries and they are allowed to be harassed by some guy running around the ward.

Telegraph UK: On one occasion a member of the Parachute Regiment, still dressed in his combat uniform after being evacuated from Afghanistan, was accosted by a Muslim over the British involvement in the country.
You have been killing my Muslim brothers in Afghanistan," the man said during a tirade.
Because the soldier was badly injured and could not defend himself, he was very worried for his safety, sources told The Daily Telegraph.
A relative of the Para said the man had twice walked on to the ward where two other soldiers and four civilians were being treated without once being challenged by staff.
"It's not the best way to treat our returning men," he said. "They are nervous that these guys might attack them and, despite being paratroopers, they cannot defend themselves because of their injuries."

Yes the brave Mujahadeen is now going after the wounded. Tell me just when will the Brits get with it and jail these people?

Allahpundit and Rusty are on the same page here. Given that this occured in birmingham, we have a pretty good idea of just who would do such a thing.

3 Is this all that different from Code Pink? They're not in the wards, but I wonder if they'd not be there, if they could get into Walter Reed?

Smash has had some interactions with Code Pink people. They don't sound especially different from this Muslim (who, it must be said, didn't seem to say/do anything overtly threatening).

And I'll bet, if asked, that he, like the members of Code Pink, "supports" the troops!

7 The UK has a real problem on its hands. They -- unlike the US -- have laws that prohibit using the pretext of religion for the spreading of violence. They should use them; and deport all Muslim non-citizens and citizens alike. "Back where you came from, asshole", and call it a day.

We in the US might even be able to learn a lesson from this. Why the INS hasn't tracked down every expired visa (and simply refuse to issue any more) holders defies common sense.

But I guess this is politics; not common sense.

Even if a wackjob muslim walked into a hospital and killed a soldier.. or nun.. or anything, anywhere, there will not be any retaliation on any level.

I've said it before, and I'll keep saying it until proven otherwise.. the West has lost its spine. The will to survive has been usurped by political correctness.

We talk bold about what we would do "if they tried that here"... just wait.. you'll get your chance. Each unanswered event empowers another and so on. And theres not a thing anyones going to do about it.

What needs to be done, should've already happened. Years ago.

12 I can answer a number of questions posed above. First we whupped the British so bad that they ran through the briars and they ran through the brambles and they ran through the bushes where the rabbits coudn't go. They may never get their balls back! Now, if a similar incident happened here, with a wounded service-person being heckled by muslim scum, it would serve only to increase security and patrols around mosques. As for the British allowing this to happen: stupid is as stupid does. Time our government faces the fact that democracy is not for everyone. Plenty of people prefer the stability of being told what to do and want nothing to do with freedom and democracy.

13 If all the muslims were sent home , the population of birmingham would half over night. you would,nt be able to get a pint of milk from the corner shop as they would all be closed. and there would no longer be any taxi firms operating in the city centre. Get the drift..... I thought they had corner shop world domination. Is that not the case in the US too. Come and live in Belfast we had a war for thirty years so were fed up with it now and just try to get along not so peacefully.
