U.S. Companies Helping Hezbollah Terrorists

hezbollah_website_Israel.jpgRight: An image from Hizbollah's main website.

With the news today that another Islamic "charity" has been designated a foreign terrorist entity for helping to fund the Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon, I was reminded that dozens of U.S. companies are doing business with Hizbollah by providing them with webhosting, DNS, or registration services. Aaron, from Internet Haganah, e-mailed these to me recently and has given me the green light to publish them. As always, Internet Haganah is the best source of information about the counter cyber-jihad.

The following websites are providing business services to Hizbollah. There were more, but I only included those with active websites and with some kind of relationship to a U.S. company. UPDATE: As per Alan's suggestion:"Please contact the registrars of these domains and the Hosting companies, informing them that they maybe breaking the law by providing services to terrorist groups."

FYI--this seems to be Hezbollah's main website:

Inside the Cyber Jihad

This week Newsweek has an "Islam in America" theme, one of which highlights the cyber jihad:

Using Web-based television as well as Internet chat rooms, "news" sites and what amount to virtual training camps for terrorism and guerrilla warfare, they keep up a constant rant of propaganda, indoctrination and ideological discussion about how best to defeat the United States....

The key, said [captured al Qaeda operative Abu Musab] al-Suri, is "individual terrorism" that cannot be thwarted by the disruptions of a command structure. Those killed on 9/11 and afterward are just a beginning, he said. "Our mujahideen [holy warriors] have only collected a small amount of the bill."...

Some American analysts worry that the United States isn't fighting back hard enough in this cyberwar of ideas. "We have failed to take the jihadists seriously, intellectually and culturally, and as a result their corrosive influence is progressing unopposed," warns Stephen Ulph, a research associate of the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point.

The Newsweek piece plays down the importance of the internet in radicalizing potential home-grown terrorists. Which is odd given that the same article emphasizes al Qaeda's call for individual acts of jihad.

Is this a signs that the military is going to begin to treat cyberspace as real 'space' in which the war must be waged? Doubtful. If you actually read what the Army is proposing, it's nothing more than local PR. The cyberjihad is global and those we are trying to influence are a global audience.

Hat tip: Son of the Godfather who calls some of the Newsweek articles in this week's issue a 'poor Muslims fluff piece'.

Study: Most Terror Websites Hosted in U.S/West

A new study by MEMRI shows that nearly all jihadi and terrorist websites are hosted in the West, most of them in the U.S. This is a big problem. As the jihadis tell each other over and over, the internet is the tool that makes the global jihad possible.

American webhosts routinely ignore complaints about terrorist or pro-terrorist websites. Two days ago I received a reply from a large webhost's legal department telling me they could not verify my claim that the website belonged to a jihadi group in Iraq advocating the killing of American soldiers and distributing plans to build IEDs. This despite the fact that much of the content was in English, and the webpage and its URL was actually named after the jihadi organization---in English! They told me to take it to the FBI if I thought the content was illegal.

Electronic Jihad Group in Syria

As the saying goes, It's an older code, sir, but it checks out.

Internet Anthropologist has tracked down one of the cyberterrorists that pushed Electronic Jihad v. 1.0 & 2.0 to Syria. The Cyber Jihad program facilitates ddos attacks against Western targets by networking cyber jihadis. With the main hub of the software, al Jinan, down, it's time to start looking for the individuals behind it.

Hello Dad, I'm Cyber-Jihading from Jail!

Tariq Al-Daour.jpg
Oh. My. G*d. The British give Tariq Al-Daour, a co-conspirator of the most famous online jihadi of all time, Younis "Irhabi 007" Tsouli, a computer with internet access in his jail cell and what does he do? Set up a pro-al Qaeda jihadi website....from his frickin jail cell!

He's in jail for being an cyber terrorist and the Brits give him internet access!!

It's surreal, really. The Mirror:

AN al-Qaeda fanatic jailed for inciting murder online was caught making a website urging terror attacks - from his cell in Britain's most secure prison....

The laptop was seized after a violent struggle when prison officers suspected he was misusing it and the hate-filled website called Global Jihad was found.

They fear Al-Daour may have used it to contact other al-Qaeda terrorists and are scrutinising calls he made....

Al-Daour's website - built while he was on trial - was full of al-Qaeda propaganda calling on extremists to wage war on the West.

But now I'm seeing where the chaps from Monty Python got their sense of humor.

Hat tip: AllahP, once again.

Fatwa Executed Against eJihad

I've been meaning to blog about this site mentioned by LGF last week.

The electronic jihadis are distributing malicious toolkits that make it so easy to attack web sites even a holy warrior can do it, with a slick admin program that uses virus-compromised ‘zombie’ computers:
The site was hosted on an American server and was in clear violation of terms of service.

But we had a couple projects going on. We have been pestering the Taliban's webmaster and were busy as well with Hamas in Iraq and Jaami. We don't want to assign our Zionist Internet Cabal too much at once. Jawas, except for our leader Rusty, are only capable of one, sometimes two, tasks at once.

I wanted to post on this because this kind of site is where attack and spamming software that take down our comments originates. We had comments back online for a short time the other day but they were quickly spammed under.

I know I would have liked to get a little payback! But, I'll be darned, someone has already beat us to it and the site is offline. Great job to whomever might have taken it down. Warm Fuzzies to you.

A little birdie told me there was more good news on this to come. Like a lot of spammers using the term, "Oh f*ck?!" We're looking forward to it.

Hat Tip: Tom.

Hamas in Iraq Using U.S. Webhost (updated/bumped)

Update by Howie: It Looks like Hamas in Iraq is having a bad day.

Thanks to Host Department for their quick response.

Since comments are still down, if you would like to gloat directly to the Hamas in Iraq webmaster email alfatih_50@yahoo.com. As always if you get a reply forward the email to Rusty.

It seems when we forced Hamas in Iraq and Jaami to change servers Jaami (http://www.jaamiiraq.net/) moved to the same service. To complain email abuse(at)hostdepartment(dot)com.

Thanks to Black Flag and everyone who sent complaints. I would like to dedicate this victory to the memory of Vinnie's Dad.

Updated again: www.jaamiiraq.net's account has been suspended. Hooray!

Buh-bye Jihad Unspun!

Apparently the pro-terrorists at Jihad Unspun are calling it quits....again. They pulled this once before, so hopefully its not just a ploy to raise money. In any event, the Weasel Zippers sent me the good news that prior to today there was a server down message. Must be those wascally Zionists again, eh Khadija?

It just baffles my mind that the uber-PC Canadians will arrest you for calling a homosexual a "fag", but don't think that calling for suicide bombings against Canadians is "hate speech".

U.S. Companies Helping the Taliban *Bumped*

*Bumped* --- scroll down for newer post.

Thanks to Victoria Taft for having me on her show on KPAM AM 860, Portland. Just scroll down and grab the images from the Taliban server, like I talked about on the show. E-mail me if you don't know how to do that.
------------

Official Taliban website: alemarah.org = 66.232.102.126

These companies probably don't know they are doing business with the Taliban. It's best to:

a) let them know what they are doing
b) let them know it is illegal to knowingly or unknowingly do business with the Taliban under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). Each IEEPA violation carries a $50,000 fine.
c) once they know they are doing business with the Taliban, which they now do, they may subject to criminal as well as civil penalties. Knowingly aiding and abetting the enemies of the United States during a war could be construed as treason.

Webhosting provided to the Taliban by: NOC 4 Hosts
Tampa, Fla
Complaints for NOC 4 Hosts here or call 1-877-801-1443

Registry services provided to the Taliban: Public Domain Registry
Houston, TX
False whois reporting to PDR here.

DNS provided to the Taliban: Dotster
Vancouver, WA
Dotster complaints here.

PS--Thanks for the bandwidth......assholes!

The following images should be viewed over and over again and should be hotlinked by any one and everyone ;-)

The fact that the Taliban has to use external links (a lot of broken links there, eh Adil?) for file sharing is an indication that they don't have that much bandwidth to share. Do you see where I'm going with this thing?

The Taliban Challenges Jawa, Jawa Responds

No joke, the Taliban have posted a message on a well-known Islamic forum addressing me, Rusty Shackleford, indirectly. In it, they gloat that their website is back online. I'll just add: for now.

Here's a rough translation:

Islamic Emirate / the return of the Voice of Jihad network web page on the Internet. The MERCIFUL return of the popular Voice of Jihad the Internet network.

In name of God the Merciful Praise be to Allah, peace and prayer to the prophet Mohammed Messenger of God, and all his companions that follow his guidance.

For a long time now the official site of the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan - Taliban has been shut down-- due to the exposure and prosecution it was closed by the enemies of Islam. [editor's note: the "infidel enemies of Islam" that got the website closed was The Jawa Report---mwuhahahaha!]

Now, we praise God for His generosity for returning the official site of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan-Taliban to work again on the internet by helping the officials of the party, most notably brother Karim / Abdullah minister-correspondent of the popular network.

You now browse the pages of the Voice of Jihad and follow the news of the country [Afghanistan] and news releases and informative material through connecting with

www.alemarah.org

which you all know and pray to Allah Almighty that the Voice of Jihad pages remain and that the the arrows hit right in the heart of falsehood.

Peace and God is Greater, Glory to God and the Prophet and the believers in your brothers pages (Voice of Jihad) official site of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan long -

In essence, the Taliban webmaster is gloating that our temporary victory over their now defunct website was short lived. I believe the gauntlet has been officially thrown down.

The Taliban vs. The Jawa Report

In one corner: lone anonymous part-time blogger and his small circle of friends and readers.

In the other corner: large well funded Islamist party which once controlled an entire nation and which has millions of sympathizers around the world.

Who will be the ultimate victor? I wouldn't put my money on the Taliban.

For alas, if you follow the links at the new Taliban website it appears that the Taliban are having a hard time keeping them working.

Oh, look what else has happened. It looks like the whois privacy service that was protecting the webmaster, bought and paid for by the Taliban, is no longer working.

Having a bad day there Karim & Abdullah?

e-mail the Taliban: alemarah1@yahoo.com

PS--The official Taliban website is still receiving business services from the Vancouver, Washington Dotster company which masks the webmaster hosting the Taliban website through their Privacy Post service.

You can complain to Dotster here.

Webhosting complaints should be directed to:
IBNTAM07.COMzepR46@privacypost.com
IBNTAM07.COMbUhOav@privacypost.com

Hat tip: Internet Anthropologist

PS-I was thanked by the Feds for helping get the last Taliban website yanked. So, spare yourself the worrying that they want this website to remain up. They don't. And providing business services (even free services) to the Taliban remains a Federal crime in the U.S. as well as in most countries.

UPDATE
: I'll be talking to my brother from another mother tonight on the Rusty Humphries show around 9:35 Eastern. Just in case you ever wanted to hear the Jawa speak.

UPDATE II: Beth recommends that if you want to e-mail anonymously, you can do so here. Personally, I use Gmail, which is also anonymous, but there are other programs and websites that do the same thing.

UPDATE III: Here is a listening guide. I'm listening here.

Another email address to their webhost here, abuse@hivelocity.net, Hivevelocity terms of service. Useful to quote in emails, as the site is in clear violation.

LGF & Weasel Zippers Call Wordpress' Bluff on Hosting Terrorist Propaganda

The Jawa Report has run serveal posts on Wordpress hosting terrorist website. We and the Jawa readers have sent dozens of complaints to Wordpress. Today LGF is linking to Weasel Zippers with an update.

These are a few of the many Jihadist sites being hosted by Wordpress, all of which advocate global Jihad, call for the destruction of Israel, glorify 9/11 etc. These blogs are dedicated to spreading the message that Jihad is the way of establishing the global Caliph, each gives a fascinating yet scary insight into the danger we face....

Here are a three active and well produced sites (all in English)....

LGF has a tremendous volume of readers, we'd like ask that everyone reading write posts and send as many strong and business-like complaints as possible. There seems to be one factor that rises above all others when trying to convince a provider to take down a terrorist website. The level of noise from complaints must become too loud to be ignored.

We are sometimes sucessful in taking down terrorist websites by complaint. The next option is to report the websites and providers to the authorities. the more reports and complaints, the more success.

We call on Wordpress to take these websites down immediately. When you host your enemies' propaganda on your own soil, you not only betray your country, you contribute to the injury and death of our men and women serving abroad.

Wordpress has been less than helpfull, Dreamhost and Google have been impossible to get any action from. Once online Jihadis find a service that offers them a safe harbour, they proliferate quickly on that service. Once it becomes clear a service is hostile to their presence, they move on.

Being a rock in a terrorist webmaster's shoe is more effective than you might think. Constantly having to move sites is not only a morale killer and a bother, it sometimes leaves a fresh financial trail that can be followed.

Convicted Internet Jihadi's al Qaeda Connection

swiss_internet_terrorists.jpgCan you say Black Widow? Yesterday I reported that Tunisian Moez Garsallaoui and his Belgian wife Malika al-Aroud had been convicted in a Swiss court for running a number of al Qaeda propaganda website. You'll recall that they both claimed they had no knowledge about what was being said on the website. Let me assure you that the al-Minbar websites, run by the couple, were some of the most vile pro-violent jihad websites out there.

Moez Garsallaoui was given six months in prison and Malika al-Aroud was given a suspended sentence. That means she will serve no time for her involvement in the distribution of al Qaeda propaganda--including disgustingly vile hostage beheading videos which the forum cheered on. Outrageous!

But I wonder if the judge would have been so lenient if he knew that Malika al-Aaroud's now deceased husband was Abdessater Dahmane? Because if the judge knew that and released her back on to the streets of Switzerland, then there is really little hope for Europe's future.

Who was Abdessater Dahmane? He was one of the al Qaeda assassins who murdered Ahmed Shah Massoud, leader of the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan, on September 9, 2001. Dahmane was one of the two assassins who pretended to be journalists. In their interview with Massoud, immediately before they set off the bomb believed to have been hidden in the video camera they brought along, they expressed their support for Osama bin Laden.

The timing of Massoud's death was almost certainly linked to the 9/11 plot---an attempt to hurt the anti-Taliban Northern Alliance before any possible American retaliation.

In August of 2004, just as the al-Minbar websites run by the couple were beginning to be investigated, CNN sat down with Moez Garsallaoui and Malika al-Aroud. While yesterday it was Moez who got the jail time, the CNN interview made it obvious that it was his wife, the burqa clad Malika, who wore the pants in that family:

We met el Aroud on a cold February day in Guin, a small town in Switzerland north of Fribourg. She lives there with her new husband, a Tunisian named Moez Garsalloui, whom she gently bosses around. She is a woman who says what she thinks....

El Aroud is a passionate believer in bin Laden's jihad and, together with her new husband, devotes her time to running a Web site promoting it....

Gazing into CNN's cameras she told us, "It's the pinnacle in Islam to be the widow of a martyr. For a woman it's extraordinary."...

"Abdessater [her former husband] dreamed of being under Osama bin Laden's orders," she said. "Yes, he dreamed of pledging allegiance to him. Oh yes. That was his dream. It was to meet Osama bin Laden and to shake his hand and put himself under his orders."

In mid-2001 Abdessater went to Afghanistan. El Aroud said he was determined to find a theater to fight in, preferably Chechnya. But bin Laden recruited him into al Qaeda, and he trained at a camp in Jalalabad....

Yet el Aroud described this as a happy time; she was reunited with her husband and had been accepted into a close-knit community. Only later did she realize that she had lived in the "middle of Osama bin Laden's clan," a circle, she told CNN, that included bin Laden's wives.

"They seemed happy from what I could tell," she said. "They were radiant, even. Otherwise they wouldn't be married to him. I don't think he was forceful with them." ...

El Aroud said she learned of her husband's death on September 12, 2001. As she described how the families around her came to congratulate her for her husband's actions there was noticeable tension in her voice. It was a huge shock to her, and for weeks after she was numb with grief, she said.

An al Qaeda courier dropped off a letter from bin Laden that included $500. She said bin Laden had wanted to settle a debt. With the letter came a tape, chillingly from her dead husband in which he told her he loved her but that he was "already on the other side." ....

She is undaunted by the investigation into her Web site and she ushered us into her bedroom to show us how she runs the forum. As the crew recorded from behind her, a large image popped on her computer monitor -- Osama bin Laden.

And it was not only her second husband that Malika seems to have dominated. Her relationship with her former al Qaeda assassin husband seems to have been quite unusual, to say the least. From a PBS Frontline special:
Abdessatar Dahmane, one of the two Tunisians settled in Belgium who murdered Ahmed Shah Massoud, took his wife, Malika el Aroud (a Belgian citizen born in Tangier, Morocco), to Afghanistan. She wrote a book in French, telling how her husband behaved like a 'modern' man (sewing the buttons on his shirt because she hated doing such tasks).
Are we seeing a pattern her? As the CNN article makes clear, it was Malika al-Aroud, and not her husband, who was the force behind the website. If any one deserves jail time, it was her.

Today, this friend of the bin Laden family and open supporter of al Qaeda, walks the streets of Guin, Switzerland. more...

PSA: Support Jihad on the Internet, Go to Jail

swiss_internet_terrorists.jpgUPDATE 6/22/2007:Convicted Internet Jihadi's al Qaeda Connection
----------

I hope some of the webhosts, DNS services, and administrators of Islamist forums who have received letters recently from Jawa supporters will take note: support violent jihad on your websites, go to jail.

Moez Garsallaoui and his wife, "Malika al-Aroud" had claimed they really didn't know what was going on at the Islamist forum they ran. Right. There is nothing hidden on most of these Islamist forums. You can't go through a single thread on most of them and not find some sort of support for Islamic terrorism. The "I didn't know" or "I was just providing a place for others to speak" or "I was just posting what the 'resistance' claimed" defenses are insincere. These forums and those that manage them know exactly what they are doing: supporting terrorist activities.

If I understand the facts correctly, the websites in question were islam-minbar.net, minbar-islam.net, and varous iterations of that name. Some of those websites (for instance here) continue to operate. The link above carries the now standard not-responsible for content disclaimer, but has links--put up by the webmaster and not by forum members-- to various al Qaeda produced videos and propaganda. Oh, and it's hosted by a Canadian compnay, bravehost.com.

For more on the various websites connected to these two--and the jihadi fanzines that came after -- just click around Internet Haganah for awhile.

You'll note that the woman in the burqua, Malika, is Belgian by birth.

NZZ Online:

Switzerland's Federal Criminal Court has handed down a guilty verdict on a couple accused of supporting radical Islamic organisations via internet sites.

The Tunisian man was sentenced on Thursday to six months in prison plus an additional 18 months suspended for supporting criminal organisations and inciting violence. His Belgian wife was given a six:month suspended sentence for aiding and abetting him....

The accused stood trial in Bellinzona for allegedly letting groups linked to al:Qaeda use internet forums they had set up to exchange information....

The sites were allegedly set up to promote racially motivated crimes. They were also used to publicise claims of responsibility for attacks and threats against Western countries as well as broadcasting images of Islamist attacks and executions....

The 39:year:old man was alleged to have used the forums to suggest that two French journalists taken hostage in Iraq be exchanged for a ransom, killed or set free.

The 48:year:old woman allegedly told another correspondent to go and "fight the war in Iraq".

What exactly were they doing at the website? Townhall:
Swiss media reported two years ago that the 2004 beheading of American engineer Paul M. Johnson, Jr. in Saudi Arabia was one of a number of executions aired on the sites.

The Federal Prosecutor's Office said a forum on one of the Web sites published letters claiming responsibility for a suicide bomb attack in Pakistan in July 2004.

Other postings included a threat to kill Italian aid workers Simona Pari and Simona Torretta, who were abducted in Baghdad in September 2004. The two aid workers were later freed.

So, this piece of work encouraged the murder of Simona Pari and Simona Torretta? I'm also guessing the context in which they posted the Paul Johnson beheading murder snuff film was "hooray" not "disgusting barbarism".

While I'm glad these two were convicted, I'm close to rage learning that Moez Garsallaoui, a terror propagandist, was only given 18 months. Can you imagine giving Joseph Goebbels, the chief Nazi propagandist, 18 months?

Thanks to il mango di Treviso for the e-mail. more...

Wordpress Hosted Terrorists Announce Media Campaign to 'Infiltrate' Infidel Websites, Support al Qaeda in Iraq

The Global Islamic Media Front (GIMF) has issued a call for the online Islamist community to infiltrate Muslim & non-Muslim websites and post propaganda in support of the al Qaeda front group, the Islamic State of Iraq. The publication in support of the Islamic State of Iraq was posted in Arabic, German, French, and English.

MEMRI:

Recently, the Global Islamic Media Front (GIMF) announced a new comprehensive media campaign titled "The Battar Media Raid to Defend the Islamic State [of Iraq] (ISI)," [1] whose declared purpose is to repel the intensive campaign against the ISI by Arab and Western media agencies and to stop the increasing military campaign against the ISI by Sunni organizations in Iraq.

In a message titled "The Battar Media Raid: How to Participate? How to Help? What Is My Role?" the GIMF announces the beginning of the campaign and provides a detailed description of the campaign's goals and ways of accomplishing them, including infiltrating non-Islamic forums for the purpose of posting pro-ISI propaganda.....

If, however, you do not possess this expertise... there are other matters you can [promote]: for example, posting matters related to the raid in most [jihad] forums... posting [material] in non-jihad forums, posting in non-Islamic forums such as music forums, youth forums, sports forums, and others. Anyone who undertakes to post the material must look into the [appropriate] manner of spreading [the material for each type of forum]... The way in which members of music forums address one another differs from the way members of jihad forum address one another."

The following poster was also posted at the GIMF website.

The symbol at the bottom left hand corner is that of GIMF, but that is the flag of the Islamic State of Iraq--the al Qaeda umbrella group-- on the bottom right.

The GIMF has long been a target of The Jawa Report. The online community of cyber jihadis, based in Germany, uses the internet to spread Islamist propaganda. They have dozens of websites, and even a web based television station. While not officially connected to al Qaeda, there is no doubt that they constitute the largest pro-al Qaeda propagandist organization in the West.

GIMF has been involved, on the propaganda side at last, in the kidnappings of German hostage Hannelore Marianne Kraus and her son and in the hostage taking of Fox News reporters Steve Centanni & Olaf Wiig.

GIMF, it would seem, has a working relationship with Islamist terrorists all over the world. Including al Qaeda in Iraq.

We have mentioned these bastards dozens of times, most recently by Howie who believes it was GIMF that was behind the latest spam attack on The Jawa Report. As previously noted, the blogging platform of choice for GIMF happens to be Wordpress. This is their German website, hosted by wordpress. And yes, I'm positive this is their official website, since I was able to track Die Zeit's request for an interview, later broadcast on German TV, to a conversation the journalist had with GIMF in their comment section.

Oh, and Howie grabbed this screenshot from the GIMF publication mentioned by MEMRI above

gimfcreditframe1.JPG

When Yahoo was notified that they were hosting a GIMF website which openly supported al Qaeda, they had the class to take that website down. But Wordpress? Not so much. After several posts about Wordpress hosting GIMF webpages, with all the complaints that come with such posts, nada on Wordpress's end. Don't even get me started on the Google owned blogspot and all the terrorist supporters over there.......

Thanks to Gerald and Howie for the heads up. Gerald's comments about winning the propaganda war are also important.

Messin' With the Taliban: E-mail a Terrorist + Call the Top Taliban Spokesman!

MessinWithSasquatch.jpgDon't you just love those beef jerky commercials? You know the ones ... the messin' with Sasquatch commercials.

Now is your chance to e-mail the Taliban. Mess with them a little. I'm. Not. Kidding.

Here are a few e-mails I found at a Taliban website. One is for the Taliban webmaster, and two of the others appear to be the e-mail for a couple of dudes named as "the official spokesmen for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan". The last one I'm not sure about.

alemarah1@yahoo.com
zabihullahmujahid@yahoo.com
alfarhad2005@yahoo.com
gran@inbox.com

Please forward any e-mail you get from them to me. Thanks.

PS--Just in case you want to call the Taliban, they were kind enough to leave the phone numbers for their "spokesmen". The 88216 prefix indicates that it's a satelite phone.

(011 from US, then) 8821621515539 --- ask for Ahmadi, which is what Qari Mohammad Yousuf's friends call him. He seems to speak English. Again, I'm not joking.
(011 from US, then) 8821621360585 --- calls himself "mujahid", so I'd just ask for soon-to-be-dead asshole

If someone answers, er, then I'd suggest e-mailing me pronto fast. I'd call myself, but I seem to be out of minutes this close to the end of the month.

US Bombs Terrorists Plus Fake Maniacal Laughter

Note the maniacal laughter in the background. This is an example of the enemy dubbing in fake, "American Voices", to make us appear er, uh, evil. A tactic that has become common. Terrorists and their supporters take videos made by our men from youtube or liveleak and them dub them to change the context. Probably a big part of the reason for the recent policy change for soldiers using Youtube and Liveleak. This is not the first or only example of this that I've seen, but I thought this one was especially funny and fake.

But as long as we are on the subject, Muahahahahahahahaha! Yes, you may add your own maniacal laughter in comments.

Dreamhhost, A Terrorist Webmaster’s Hosting Dream

As we noted last week, an al-Qaeda affiliated website named Voice of Jihad has been resurrected. The site was moved to Dreamhost after its previous host (mohajroon) ran into some...errr...difficulties.

The site moved to a new provider named Dreamhost which is a US-based company. It is unlawful for a US company to knowingly provide services to a designated terrorist organization. We don't know who or where the site owner is to go after him but we do know who his service provider is.

So, when I realized it was a US company, I was hopeful that we could get the site removed. Often when US companies become aware they are hosting a terror website, they are more than cooperative and take it down soon after they are notified by email or phone. So we ran a post asking that you email Dreamhost's abuse department. Many of you did, but the response by Dreamhost was very weak. While Dreamhost acknowledged our emails nothing has been done and al-Qaeda's website remains active.

This confused me at first, surely the owner of Dreamhost, Josh Jones, is not one of those lefty America hating terrorist supporting bastards? Then I went to Mr. Jones' blog, (see below) and yes, he is an America hating terrorist supporting leftist bastard.

Exhibit A

Exhibit B (posted the day after we informed dreamhost of the site, coincidence?)
duh.jpg

My first email resulted in this response.

We empathize with your concerns regarding this site, but are unable to comment on any pending Abuse investigations. If you believe that a customer is engaging in unlawful activity, we encourage you to contact the Federal Bureau of Investigations regarding this matter. You can do this via the web using the Internet Crime Complaint Center, here:

http://www.ic3.gov/

As per our usual policy, we will cooperate in full with law enforcement to ensure that our services are not being used for illegal activity. I'm sorry I could not be of more assistance.

Another response from Dreamhost regarding a complaint from a Jawa reader directed at Deamhost's owner Josh Jones was intercepted by his secretary.
Josh, doesn't touch abuse, but thank you for writing and your kind words about the newsletter.

The email continues with the same canned response above. Still no action.

So apparently Josh is hoping to claim plausible deniability, he will say he doesn't know that his company is hosting terrorist websites as he goes around spending dirty terrorist money.

But wait! He cannot claim he is unaware of this problem because he has a blog and I notified him via his blog. And you know a little vain liberal pipsqueak like Josh reads his own blog!

So Dreamhost and its owner Mr. Josh Jones have been notified they are breaking the law by hosting this site. We have tried to be civil and polite but now they have no excuse for leaving the site up and you can report them to OFAC and the FBI here.

ofac_feedback@do.treas.gov

Josh, You'd better hang on to Awesome DreamHost Lawyer Guy, cause you might have a really bad need for him very soon.

Update: Josh deleted my comments notifying him from his blog, but I have a copy below the fold. (heh, my comments are restored, neat function) more...

Email A Terrorist: Voice of Jihad Edition

After a short absence, The al-Qaeda website the Voice of Jihad came back online April 27th. The website is in English and is located at http://www.sawtaljihad.org/. After a little research I dug up this email address.

ourpalestine48@yahoo.com

Try it out, make some friends, and as always if you get a reply forward (not cut and paste) the message to Rusty or one of our co-bloggers immediately. I suggest you pick Vinnie, because it annoys him and he needs the excitement while Rusty is away.

But most of these whois records are works of fiction anyway. So the odds of getting a reply are somewhat low. But The website is currently hosted on, you guessed it, a US server.

The IP address is 208.113.169.63 which resolves to New Dream Network LLC in Brea California. To complain abut the website email abuse@dreamhost.com or call 1-714-706-4182.

The site was previously hosted on mohajroon.com but moved after the webmaster there.. er..uh...ran into some difficulties.

Hat Tip : Sr. Zionist Internet Spys #'s 3, 5 and 7.

Update: Results, New Dream has replied and I'd like to thank them for their quick response. They are looking into it. It could be some time before the site goes away. Be patient, no need for further calls or emails at the moment.

More Than One Way to Skin a Cat

There are a few ways to take down a terrorist website. There are the emails to this that and the other providers, law enforcement and our email a terrorist posts. After all that, if you are lucky, another terrorist outlet is offline and hopefully the operators and users are “neutralized”.

But there is another way, a much more efficient way. Kill or capture the operator.

In the case of one of the al-Qaeda's english version websites that seems to be what has occurred. It is now approaching 30 days since the site has been updated. That is highly unusual and I’d just like to say this very loudly one time.

F*ck Yeah!

Add to that a just a little spittle into the face of the terrorists. more...

The Plans of al-Qaeda 3.0

You hear Rusty talk about al-Qaeda 3.0. Where small self starting al-Qaeda inspired cells without direct connections to al-Qaeda's leadership form, plan and direct independent attacks againt the west. Today's arrests in NJ speak to the fact that such cells exist.

Laura Mansfield has posted an explanation of how these al-Qaeda 3.0 cells are formed and how the al-Qaeda leadership views their purpose. Of course the internet plays a crucial role.

Laura Mansfield: News media reports describe this morning's terrorist suspects, who planned an attack on Ft. Dix, NJ, as homegrown with no ties to al Qaeda or any other international terrorist organization.

This isn't surprising in the least.

It is very likely that this cell, like numerous others that have been uncovered in the past year, falls into the category of ?Individual or Small Group Terrorism?, as espoused by the Al Qaeda ideologue Abu Mus?ab al Suri in his book ?Call to Global Islamic Resistance?..

The doctrine of ?Individual or Small Group Terrorism? is a major concept in al Suri?s 1604-page manifesto, published on the internet in December 2004.

Al Suri, who is believed to be currently in US custody, describes three primary phases of Jihad in the book:
# Organizations
# Open Fronts
# Individual/Small Groups

He explains in depth each of these phases, and makes a strong case that the wave of the future is individual and small group terrorists.....

...There's certainly no shortage of training materials for would-be jihadists on the internet ? from instructional videos detailing the brewing of explosives, the construction of a suicide bomb vest, and multiple kinds of improvised explosives devices, to detailed recipes for creating chemical and biological weapons. Detailed training manuals provide the trainee with a roadmap to physical fitness. Online publications, the most famous being Moaskar al Battar, detail how to maintain and use firearms from pistols to automatic weapons, as well as operational plans such as how to plan an ambush, a kidnapping, and an assasination

Security is easier, he believes, because the individuals and groups don?t have to take marching orders from the Al Qaeda leadership. Instead, they can act on their own, inspired by events in their own countries. The glue bonding them to the organization is a shared ideology and theology, and a commitment to jihad.

Terrorists Among Us

Bad: About 8% of all users at top Arabic language jihadi websites are from North and South America. Worse: About 17% of them are from Europe. Be. Afraid.
