The John Edwards '08 campaign hasn't even left the barn yet, and it gives me a certain feeling of comfort to say that if their staff couldn't bother to do something as simple as Google "Pandagon" or "Amanda Marcotte" and read her stuff before putting her on the official payroll, then I tend to worry less about their chances to stay alive in the long on-line and off-line YouTubed drive to November '08. Stay tuned for lots of fun!
NOTE TO INTERESTED PARTIES: Scrubbing the atrocious things Marcotte wrote at Pandagon isn't going to work (at least for the posts I linked here at Jawa Report). I have screenshots of all of them. In the interest of boring our readers, I wont' post them...right now. Let's hope the Pandas don't make me whip em all out in all of their revelatory glory.

But with searches for Michelle Manhart at an all time low, and demand for low-grade Saddam Hussein snuff videos on a steady downward trend, it looks like we're back to our normal traffic flow. Which means we can get back to doing what we do best: begging for that sweet fatwa.
You're moment of Jawa Zen (please don't read that in Jon Stewart's voice, think Craig Kilborn, back when the show was, you know, funny):

Be sure to follow the link--click the pic. Can I please get that fatwa now?

First, I would like to thank Chris for allowing me to promote A Soldier's Perspective here on Conservative Thinking. The help he has provided has been invaluable. I owe you big time, Chris.
That said, we need one last big push from all of you to help us stay on top of the VAMC MilBlog Contest. Please vote "Soldier's Perspective" if you have not already done so, and tell all of your friends, family, co-workers, and anyone else you can think of. The Camp Lejeune Ballerinas are counting on YOU!

"Clearly, the greedy and over-industrialized north is stealing sunlight from those of us in the less-fortunate, underdeveloped south," reported one Brazilian television network. "In the process, they have doomed us all!"Also the doomocrats have passed another toothless watered down bill to reduce student loan interest, by a small margin, on new loans only, starting sometime in the not too distant future I think."Unless something is done immediately, we will all be dead within, at most, a few years,"
Wow! Now that sure is a lot better than giving a tax credit for all student loan interest paid, like the Republicans did. Funny how the Republicans were able to help students without driving banks out of the business of making the loans. But hey at least they tried, right?
For more on the Democrats new plans see Strata-sphere. Larwyn kept recommending this blog to me so I've been reading it a bit and she's right, it's good.
EIGHTH, we will submit and pass legislation that will mandate any questioning by US agents of Al Qaeda members to (a) be done in the presence of an ACLU lawyer, (b) never last more than 30 minutes, (c) be done indoors, in climate controlled conditions, (d) include an offering of proper food and beverage and (e) require every question to use the word ‘please’Say, have you noticed that all their bills seem to reduce a tax credit or increase a payroll tax?
They will also try stop the evil hellibacon from getting help on expensive deep water oil exploration. How this is going to help reduce the dependance on foriegn oil, I dunno. They also don't want any new clean(er) coal plants either. They like the old dirty ones so they can point fingers.
They say are going to put that dirty oil money in a trust fund. I suppose that the increased payroll taxes will also go into that trust fund to give them something to rob for their other programs. Or else they'll say say they've slashed the deficit, forgetting all about their criticism of including these trust funds when figuring the deficit.
I got to hand it to them they sure are slick. All these new do nothing bills, do nothing war plan. All in 100 hours! Which is about ten times longer than they spent actually thinking about what to do.

The VA Mortgage Center is currently holding a MilBlogging contest with cash prizes for the top ten blogs. The number one blog will receive $3,000, and the rest of the top ten will receive $250 each. My home blog of A Soldier's Perspective is currently in second place with a great chance of taking over the lead. All money from this contest will be donated to the Camp Lejeune Ballerinas.
Please visit A Soldier's Perspective for more on the Camp Lejeune Ballerinas and please support us by visiting the poll and voting for "Soldier's Perspective".

The upside you say? He's too big of a wuss to post his email , but he has open comments on the Juba supporting blog. Go forth and express your opinion.
His bad gay lover, one Matt Hoffman, has a Saddam Hussein supporting blog here. I posted some links to this post in his comments there. His comments are moderated but he does have an email where he asks for "feedback". So let's help him out, shall we?
May the force be with you.

Ok so the site is not in English but Hot is easy to translate. I gather that Farrah was Kuwait's entry in the Model of the World 2006 in Tanzania.

I'm especially grateful for my many co-bloggers who made December the best month ever for The Jawa Report! January was looking like it might top our December record-breaker, but now that I'm back I'm sure traffic will plunge to its normal lows.
California was fun, but for some unexplicable reason it's good to be back. In my own home. In my own bed.
Best part? Catalina Island. Spent five days there with my family. A blast, as always. If you live in LA, you really need to spend a few days in Avalon. Now is the best time of year--the offseason. And it was 75 degrees or higher 4 of the 5 days we were there.
Oh, and it's lobster season. I just found out that you can legally net lobster--after all these years of getting them the old fashioned way. In the water. With my hands. At night. In the dead of winter!
My return is especially glorious this year given USC's pounding of Michigan! I know a lot of you want to blame George Lucas, but I just can't bring myself to laying this at his feet. As we all know, Lucas only works for those pansy Jedis. USC is clearly a Sith team.
The only thing better? The Boise State victory over Oklahoma! Incredible. Truly the best game I've ever watched live. Ever. UPDATE: Allah has vid, but he didn't see the game. L-O-S-E-R.
As a special bonus, Flea sends this vid of Jawa vs. Nazis. I know a lot of you are going to want to give credit to the Jawas for helping Indie out of a sticky situation, but your take on this vid is all wrong. The Jawas were only in it for the Ark of the Covenant. They had a mutual interest with Indiana Jones. And like I've always said, you can work with Jawas--mutual interests--it's those pesky sandpeople (Tuskens) you have to watch out for.
The salmon have truly returned to Capistrano!
UPDATE: Rustymania, the video!

One of the highlights was the three-piece "Star Wars Spectacular," an entry that celebrates the 1977 release of "Star Wars," the first film in the sci-fi saga. About 200 stormtroopers led by Dr. Rusty Shackleford marched down Colorado Boulevard.
Update by Vinnie: Sondra has the behind the scenes action.

So, don't e-mail me tips unless it's of a personal nature. Bug Vinnie or Howie or something. Pics of hot Muslim chicks should be sent to Ragnar or Bluto. Pics of naughty teachers, to Mike. We're still unsure of Good Lt.'ts sexuality, so any manmeat should be sent his way.
If anybody wants to take a Jawa to lunch, or maybe knows of a L.A. area get together, drop me an e-mail. Oh, and if you have to ask about the pic below, you just don't get it.

We're wheels up in just over 19 hours. I have secured data access (but the cost of data transfer is heinous). We should, in theory, have updates posted at the blog, so keep an eye out for those.
Happy Holidays, and see you all on the flipside.
And a big, big thanks to those who chipped in. With your support, we're going in with protective gear, clean water, medical kit, insurance and comms, so, thank you very much.

Don't let us finish behind a blog called "Red State."
Who else would name a blog "Red State" than a filthy Communist?
(Vince Aut Morire could use a push, too...wink wink nudge nudge. Merri Musings is a good choice too.)
