The gay/non-gay Republican issue reminds me much of the Southern segragationist Democrats who used to have to work side-by-side with Nothern integrationists in the 50s and 60s. There was no love lost between either group.

Oh, I don't doubt gay rights groups have aligned themselves with those who want to use the Foley scandal to damage the Republican party as a whole — basically shooting holes in the conservative pillars of moral superiority and personal accountability.
I just don't happen to think Foley's behavior should bring down a party. I'd be glad to see them go because I think they're power has corrupted them absolutely and they're the shittiest bunch of legislators to ever rot this country. You, however, will continue to support them because you cannot seperate your ideology and loyalties from the facts on the ground — another reason you're laughable.
But just like I didn't give a damn about Clinton boofing Monica Lewinsky, nor do I give a damn about Foley and his behavior, though a 52-year-old man hitting on teenaged guys is a little weirder.

it should be about the invidual congressmen involved, not the entire party which had nothing to do with it. That might include Hastert, in which case I'd be happy to see him go. But GOP congressmen with no knowledge shouldn't lose their seats over this.

Molten steel was found in the basements of WTCs 1, 2 and 7.
WTC7 was not hit by an aircraft.
There was nothing in any of those buildings that could burn hot enough to melt steel.
Certainly not Kerosene (jet feul).
WTC7 was the first and only steel superstructure to ever come down from fire.
If it really did, insurance companies all over the world would be jacking up insurance premiums on skyscrapers.
The 9-11 Commission Report did not even mention WTC7.

Pity. I saw one of his last concerts before his NDE in Houston at the Summit in 1977, and it was an incredibly good show.

Got to get some pitures of my newest cat in action (kitten - found him in a junkyard). Daughter dropped off her two dogs over the weekend - he had them cowered in the corner for 2 days!
Put him on a real steak and chop meat diet to see how big he gets. Lady out in Jersey has a cat that treed a black bear (photos too!!!). I can only hope! Call him Sam.

This is not bullshit. I was over there working 35 years ago. I was invited to dine with a tribal chief. They boiled a sheep, head on, until it falls apart. Then they dumped yogurt in it and then dumped that mess on a giant platter of rice. Then then dug in with their rights hands with such gusto they didn't notice that I didn't eat. Our drinks were either tea of a concoction made with carbonated water, yogurt and what looked like grass. They called it something that sounds like duke or puke, which is closer to reality.
Anyway, my little story for today.
Someday I will tell of the desk the license officials use that has a drawer that opens on either side of the desk.
