Cue Democrat propaganda machine overdrive.
Not a good day in Nutroot land. Via Drudge:
Will link relevant docs when they come out.
Make sure to read leftwing blogs for their reactions. You'll get a lot of "big deal," or "the Rethuglikkkans did it first!" or "Bush doesn't like Black People."

I think you're wrong about the Dems reaction. Most of the posts I've browsed in the past 30 minutes fall into the "throw the bum out" variety.

I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop on the other Willian Jefferson "Clinton"...
http://www.dickmorris.com/blog/?p=88#more-88
This is a more detailed version of a column that was published in The New York Post on May 24, 2007.
Since he left office in 2001, former president Bill Clinton has been paid by InfoUSA, an Omaha, Nebraska company that has been identified as a key provider of specially designed databases that are sold to criminals who use the detailed information to defraud the unsuspecting elderly.
Because Senate financial disclosure rules do not require Hillary Clinton to reveal exactly how much — or for what — the company has paid her husband over the past five years, we don’t know all the details. But we do know this: former presidents – especially Bill Clinton – don’t come cheap. And, just months after he left the presidency, Bill Clinton was paid $200,000 for a speech given to InfoUSA in Omaha. Since then, he has been paid an undisclosed amount each year, listed only as “more than $1000†for ‘non-employee compensation†on Senator Clinton’s Senate financial disclosure form.
According to the The New York Times, InfoUSA compiled and sold lists that disclosed the names of elderly men and women who would be likely to respond to unscrupulous scams. The lists left no doubt about the vulnerability of the elderly targets. The Times reported, for example, that InfoUSA advertised lists of “Elderly Opportunity Seekers,†3.3 million older people “looking for ways to make money,†and “Suffering Seniors,†4.7 million people with cancer or Alzheimer’s disease. “Oldies but Goodies†contained 500,000 gamblers over 55 years old, for 8.5 cents apiece. One list said: “These people are gullible. They want to believe that their luck can change.â€
InfoUSA sold lists to companies that were under investigation or closed down by courts because of their criminal activity. The company’s internal emails show that employees were aware that the investigation for elderly fraud involved their customers, but sold the lists anyway.
The Times profiled one unfortunate 92 year old man who entered a sweepstake sponsored by InfoUSA. The information that he innocently provided was then sold to the predator marketers. After responding to their telemarketing calls seeking financial information, his entire life savings was stolen from his bank account at Wachovia Bank. These practices, using lists supplied by InfoUSA were repeated all over the country.

Dorian:
I believe the above is unfairly being used to smear Clinton, I am a consultant and I do not profile the companies that I work for, or even involve myself in their business beyond the scope of the job I am doing for them.
As none of this information seemed to come out, or was well known before it was linked to Clinton, I think it's poor taste to tar him with it. It wasn't like he was profiling the elderly, or cold calling pensioners for them, and it can be reasonably assumed that if it was public knowledge he would have refused the work.

THE MOST ETHICAL ADMINISTRATION IN HISTORYSummary of Alleged Crimes and Abuses of Power by the Clinton Administration Updated Oct. 27, 1997 -- For reasons of brevity, titles ofindividuals are omitted and allegations are listed in summarystyle only. Each allegation has been described in detail in theWashington Weekly over the past few years. (14) Fired all U.S. Attorneys to appoint Paula Casey who prevented Judge David Hale from testifying against Clinton. (15) Offered State Troopers federal jobs in return for their silence about Clinton's crimes. Brown's personnel file at the CIA in an attempt to find damaging information on Brown, a witness to many Clinton crimes. (23) Blocked Justice Department prosecution of Arthur Coia, a union Mob puppet and heavy Clinton donor. (24) Made fund-raising calls from the White House, a federal property. (25) Accepted a bribe from the Government of China, hidden from federal election inspectors by laundering it through Ng Lap Seng, the Bank of China, Charlie Trie and his relatives, and his Legal Defense Fund. (26) Accepted a $50,000 bribe from the candidate for president of South Korea, in return for a written endorsement of the candidate. (27) Engaged in a criminal scheme to launder illegal contributions for the president of Teamsters campaign and in turn laundered illegal foreign contributions through the "Teamsters for a Corruption Free Union" fund. (2

Summary of Alleged Crimes and Abuses of Power by the Clinton Administration
alleged:
adj 1: declared but not proved.
I'm not saying he's a good guy. I'm saying linking someone to the actions of a company they consulted for is completely unreasonable; consultants very rarely are exposed to the operating practices of the company they provide services for. As I said if the InfoUSA client list scandal was public knowledge beforehand it is unlikely they would have got involved, and that isn't a matter of their ethics just that they are so high profile that their involvement would be publicized like now.

You can do that to a black from the chooclate city. Bunch of bigots, racists, Nazi storm troopers. Now the friggin blacks in New Orleans will elect him the next major to get back at you white mutha fuckas. Don't believe it? Look up Marion Barry. Shit we is doomed. Are New Orleanians going to be ruled by bigoted blacks, black muslims or normal muslims? Which is worse? Keep buying that ammo. You're going to need it.

Nancy Pelosi's choice for homeland security commission. Willie Jefferson. Blacks in New Orleans re-elected the thief just to slap the face of honest Americans.

I know exactly what it means, but no one is convicted for a "pattern of behavior"
If it's proven that he had knowledge that InfoUSA was involved in predatory practices in creating mailing lists of vulnerable people before he contracted with them, I'll happily retract it.

As to most of the above, I'd say Dick Morris knows his 'Clintons'. He has worked with them before, and is entitled to his opinion. Besides, I'd rather see the left playing 'defense' for awhile.
USA, all the way!

Can't understand why DAVEC is defending the indefensible. The Clintons are guilty of every crime a politician can comit and then some. Bill Clinton has the morals of a alley cat, the scruples of Willie Jefferson and the heart of John Wayne Gacy. I honestly believe Hillary is worse. You best believe Billy boy is porking some young thing tonight. And Hillary is watching.

Of course, Bush & Cheney have committed high crimes & misdemeanors but you retards don't want to hear that. Oh no, it's, "The democrats are bad because look at Jefferson!". *rolling eyes*
Did you watch the press conference of the US Attorney who is charging Jefferson? He looked nervous and he appeared to not be very comfortable about it. Hmmmmm.....an awful lot of time passed since the FBI raided Jefferson's office. Why so long? Who knows, but the cry baby republicans wanted at least ONE democrat to be charged with something because their party was so full of criminals that it just wasn't fair! LOL Wingnuts you all are...

Did someone just hear the logic pretzel the Dem just said on Fox and Friends around the 17 min mark of the second hour?
He said regarding Cold Cash Jefferson, something like...
Well, back when Tom Delay was indited, the Republicans didn't remove him from anything, and that looked really bad for them... (implying that he was guilty)... BUT NOW, see, Jefferson is innocent until proven guilty, so he should NOT be removed from those committees, until he is found guilty.
WOW! I wish my TIVO didn't die, so I could really quote him well. It was just so typical of the "well, we know better, so we get the benefit of the doubt, and you guys are evil, so we want you all in jail anyway, guilty or not."
