US President and Christian Zealot Invokes God To Justify Invasion

In a speech to the people of the United States, the President asks God for victory based upon God's grace. This Christian zealot believes he can and will win a war based upon, "the righteousness of our cause", and the grace of almighty God. How dare he!

Almighty God: Our sons, pride of our nation, this day have set upon a mighty endeavor, a struggle to preserve our Republic, our religion, and our civilization, and to set free a suffering humanity.

Lead them straight and true; give strength to their arms, stoutness to their hearts, steadfastness in their faith.

They will need Thy blessings. Their road will be long and hard. For the enemy is strong. He may hurl back our forces. Success may not come with rushing speed, but we shall return again and again; and we know that by Thy grace, and by the righteousness of our cause, our sons will triumph.

Report: NorK training Syrian Missle Engineers

How's that "diplomacy" working out for everyone, Nancy? Denny? Democrats?

So now the story, apparently, is that the road to peace goes through Pelosi, Kucinich, North Korea and Damascus.

Maybe Syria will nuke Israel next summer. Wouldn't that prove the Democrat position effective!

No, it's not a joke.

Petraeus is trying to help the Bushies hide their war crimes and war lies behind Petraeus's uniform, a uniform which Petraeus has now disgraced by his working most every MSM venue like a champion media whore.

A vital nerve must have been struck to set the right wing howling so about their holy man Petraeus, and I think that we should get Hillary's and MoveOn's backs on this particular issue.

So, whatever your 2008 candidate affiliation, please rec here now to show some love for Hillary and MoveOn for how they took on Bush's media whore Petraeus!

Barack Obama, The Pro Genocide Candidate

Yes, this is what we seek in a commander-in-chief:

SUNAPEE, N.H. - Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama said Thursday the United States cannot use its military to solve humanitarian problems and that preventing a potential genocide in Iraq isn't a good enough reason to keep U.S. forces there.

So, does candidate Obama think that preventing a potential genocide in Korea isn't a good enough reason to keep U.S. forces there? How about Kosovo?

The Russians have some deep scores to settle with the Germans, shall we, after 62 years of "occupation" pull out of there?

The Chinese have some deep scores to settle with Japan, shall we, after 62 years of "occupation" pull out of there, too?

Does this statement mean that Barack Obama, on some level, supports genocide in Iraq? If not, then why not call for the pullout of troops from every other place they are stationed to prevent genocide?

Anyone this inept in knowledge of even recent history has no business running for president.

Great Comment on Reid's Incompetence

The following comment was left at the Politico regarding Reid's idiotic attack on Gen. Peter Pace. Sums it up quite nicely:

A majority of Democrats voted for the Iraq War in late 2002. A majority of Democrats supported the successful invasion of Iraq in March 2003. However by September 2004, as the situation on the ground in Iraq became more difficult, Democrats unanimously disapproved of the war, saying that it was "the wrong war, in the wrong place, at the wrong time". Now Democrats want to retreat from Iraq and leave the Iraqi people to the terrorists and to the civil war which will inevitably follow upon US withdrawal. In 2006, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and their fellow Democrats ran on an anti-war platform. They promised the American people that, if elected as a majority in Congress, Democrats would end the Iraq War. They also promised a host of other things, most of which also have not been achieved. The most striking failure of the Congressional Democrats is their failure to keep their promise to end the Iraq War. Another glaring failure is their broken promise to improve ethics in Congress. The 96 count Federal indictment of Louisiana Congressional Democrat William Jefferson on fraud, bribery, conspiracy and official corruption is but one illustration of Democrat Congressional ethical failure. So who is incompetent here? Not our military leaders who had no part in voting for the Iraq War. They don't get to pick and choose what war to fight. Those who are incompetent are those who voted for the Iraq War and are now voting for defeat. It is truly incompetent to send troops into battle only to withdraw support from them when they are on the battlefield facing the enemy. It is also truly incompetent to criticize their civilian and military leaders while our troops are fighting for their very lives every day. It is Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi who are incompetent. Reid and Pelosi's Democrats voted to send US troops to Iraq to fight the enemy, yet the Democrat strategy for success in Iraq has never been one of support for the troops or their mission. Reid and Pelosi's Democrats have unconditional US retreat and surrender as their only war-fighting strategy in Iraq. Forget winning the war that Democrats help start, let's just "cut-and-run." That is truly incompetent.
More flaying of the moronic Senate 'leader' by Bill at INDC journal, who shows how Reid's comments about Gen. Petraeus "not being in touch with reality" are, well, not really in touch with reality.

Reid has proven himself to be an absolute, unquestionable disgrace this week. The DemCong's abysmal approval ratings reflect this. He should resign.

Memo to Reid: Why Has the Surge 'Failed?'

IT HASN'T EVEN BEEN FULLY IMPLEMENTED YET. Imagine that. They just finished putting everyone in place today. Harry gave the troops approximately negative two days to do what they were assigned to do before preemptively declaring them "a failure." He "supports" them, though.

Tough, smart leadership from the 23%ers micromanaging the war from their air-conditioned offices.

MORE...Karl also has a great post up illustrating the flagrant dishonesty in the way the Iraq casualties (and the subsequent doom-and-gloom reporting on levels of violence) are consistently being reported. The reports amount to little more than a poorly-disguised frame-job by the numerically illiterate members of the press. The surge, not even being allowed to be implemented without Democrat meddling and kneecapping, has reduced violence by 33% in its primary theater, with, with an 8% decrease in overall violence. Sectarian killings are down 62.5% since December. Why isn't it being reported this way?

Anybody else want to jump into the ring and campaign to save the bloated and criminally retarded United States Congress?
