Maybe Hollywood ought to move to Beirut?
Forget Canada, where many Hollywood productions actually take place because of lower overall costs, I hear that scale in Beirut is cheap, cheap, cheap. I'm not talking Mexico cheap either, real cheap.
Oh, but if you're Spielburg, I'd stick with Canada. The Lebanese don't seem to like his kind.

Heck, lets move the UN to Southern Lebanon. Get 'em out of NYC....add some needed stimulus to the local Lebanese economy. And lets see if they don't do something to stop the rockets from being shot over their heads.

Not that I admire the behavior of France in the WOT, but we do have the pre-commie French to thank for the Battle of Yorktown and our independence from Britain.
Our history books make it seem like the French just blocked the retreat of the British by sea, but there was also a French artillery position that pinned them to the sea and the French navy did more than just "block". They fought a vicious battle with the British navy that sailed from New York to rescue the British force.
During the surrender the British band played "The World Turned Upside Down" as they laid down their arms. That showed how shocked they were that they lost to a ragtag army. And everyone knew at the time it was like the Northern Alliance beating the Islamofascists...without the technologicaly superiority of help from a superpower, the Americans would not have won in Yorktown.
The French superpower would be laid low within 10 years by a left wing revolution from within. :-(
But even then, the free men army that Napoleon built was unstoppable at Austerlitz and against the Prussians at Jena?
Unlike the German Wehrmacht, the French Army actually captured Moscow in 1812.
I still like all the French jokes however. Just find the Google search of French Military Victories to be forgetting things like the above as well as the Braddock battle in Ohio during the French and Indian Wars where George Washington literally got his butt kicked with two horses shot out from under him by the French.

Russia burned Moscow to the ground. They destroyed everything before the French army, denying Napoleon resources to sustain his army. Upon arriving in Moscow, Napoleon surmised there was nothing to keep, he left.
On the way home, the French army was destroyed by the cold, disease and starvation. Napoleon left his army to return to Paris and spin it as a victory, and cover his ass.

If there is a plan by Zionists / Americans to take over the muslim world, how many first steps does this thing need? Wasn't the creation of Israel supposed to be the first step? Then the Gulf War was the first step. Then the invasion of Afghanistan was the first step. Then the invasion of Iraq was the first step. Now Israel vs Hizb'allah is the first step? Either there is no plan to take over the muslim world and it's all just in the heads of the peaceniks and islamists, or the Zionists / Americans need to hire a consultant, go to a wilderness retreat for a weekend, do some team-building and motivational exercises and get their act together.

Roosevelt was an inept coward, for doing nothing while over 2000 Americans were slaughtered at Pearl Harbor. Not to mention that whole Depression and Dust Bowl thing.
Truman was an inept coward, for not allowing Patton to kick those Commie bastards the hell out of Eastern Europe when he had a chance.
JFK was an inept coward, for sending expatirate Cubans to die at the Bay of Pigs, and not backing them up with real American firepower.
Johnson was an inept coward, by merely escalating the Vietnam Police Action, instead of pounding the unholy piss out of North Vietnam.
Carter was an inept coward. Period.
Clinton was an inept coward, for tossing off to internet porn while the WTC was being bombed the first time. And for the lack of military response to the sudden bloom of jihadist terrorism that miraculously appeared during his administration. And there's that Mogadishu thing.
Could I throw Republican presidents in? Oh, of course. Thanks to Eisenhower, the Korean war was never ended. Reagan didn't invade Lebanon after Hezbollah killed 241 Marines, and Bush Sr. let Saddam remain in Iraq.
But since the Kos Diarrheaist is trying to make the case that the current administration is a bunch of cowards for not shooting down civilian airliners, I merely respond with my own moonbat theories of Democrat administrations.
Hell, you could even make the case, if you were this Kos diarist, that George Washington was an inept, cowardly president.
Apparently, the "reality based" part of the Reality Based Community is what psychologists call "Stuck On Stupid Syndrome."

Luckily, most of my neighborhood is retired military. We don't have any crime here. Everyone has guns. The worst thing that's happened in 10 years here is a couple cars got egged one night and our mailbox got nailed once by some prankster kids. All the neighbors know each other and talk everyday.
A friend came to our house once and asked, "What is this? Freakin' Mayberry?". He couldn't believe that people waved at him as he drove down the street and accused us of paying them to do it. ;-)

She's reasonably hot, but fails to see that some of the people she thinks are serious are joking about the mock zeal conservative joke with liberal mock zeal. It's like an irony war, in which conservatives mock liberal shibboleths, and liberals mock them back, which conservatives then pretend to see as liberals being fooled by conservative mockery.
More importantly, if global warming turns out to be half as dangerous as many scientists think, these videos will be a crushing indictment of the anti-science movement in conservatism. On the other hand, if it turns out to be a total bust, like the new Ice Age some climatologists were preaching in the 60s and 70s, or the total collapse of most natural resources predicted for the 80s and 90s, Al Gore and his supporters are going to look pretty stupid.

I have been experimenting with the Earth's orbit. I have discovered that by knocking the Moon off course with a 2000 ton missle with a little " English " would give it a nice spin. The resulting disruption in magnetic field would give sort of a strobe light effect on the Earth's magnetic field and drag Earth along with it gradually away from the Sun. Then glaciers will reform, seagulls will fuck again and we can go back to sipping pina coladas on the beaches!

After it's discovered that the kid's been secretly carrying on with a woman, he's brutally beaten by his "master" and left by a river to die. He survived, but can we really be surprised if he has a few "issues"?
The Jedi open the world of the force to a slave boy, freeing him, and averting a galactic war. Vader kills younglings and (accidentally)his own wife!!!
You tryin' to tell me that Vader's the victim?!?
That's Sith--it!!

Don't you guys get it? It's a scathing critique of the truth-twisting properties of the victimization mentality. And piss-your-pants-funny.

You've been listening to too much cult propaganda. The old Republic was clearly an unworkable disaster. Unfortunately, the cult members were too brainwashed and steeped in the old ways to accept reform, so they had to go.

Obviously a racist report to be ignored. What we need now is to call the reporter an ignorant racist. That will cure the problem. Oh! Wait. We've tried that for the last 30 yrs.
Can't wait to get to Biloxi and hit the crap tables. A couple of our Casinos have reopened. Plenty of room at the Grand casino marina. If you can find it. Last I heard it was two blocks north on top of the Holiday Inn. And just think, hurricane season is here.

You'd seem more legitimate if you didn't try to base your claims on the utterly unscientific point of view that the criminality prevalent in black culture is due to their genetics.

All I did was post the numbers.
Did I say genetics. I allready told you that it was caused by white liberals and cowards like all-seeing-eyediot.

IMAO : Does Israel Have a Right to Exist?
In the midst of chaos, a bit of levity from IMAO:
Israel is currently attacking everyone in sight for some crazy Jewish reason. How much longer until they expand their violent outburst and attack the U.S. too? They've already run over one American, Rachel Corrie, with a bulldozer, and you know they're revving their engines ready to get the rest of us.
Middle Eastern scholars have long argued that Israel should not exist and that they should all be pushed into the sea. This is a reasonable stance if you look at all the facts.
FACT: The first terrorist in history was actually a Jew. His name was Moses, and he plotted to overthrow the Egyptian government with various biological warfare attacks.
FACT: After Moses stole all the Egyptian Jews and led them to their "promised land" (which was somewhere in Europe), no Jew ever set foot in the Middle East until the 1940s.

Mohammedans like to cut throats in the name of the Religion of Peace.

Thos Muhammadeans are knows as muslims. They don't cut throats, only a certain crazy sect called wahhabism does. Go look it up. Israel has every right to exist. But it seems they're policies are becoming a bit too nationalist.

Do you remember? Do you remember how you felt when you saw that tower fall? Do you?
I do. Total and undenied submission for the perps. We knew quickly that it was al-Qaeda (WTF kinda spelling rule is that?) My original thought was 3-thousand for everyone of our dead. And at that time I thought it was possible that 15- to 30-thousand were dead.
I'm still angry at those b@@@ards. Do I want a "proportional" response from Israel? Yeah...if they follow my rule of 3kper.
Do not tread on me.

Israel attacked the U.S. already -- the U.S.S. Liberty during the 1967 war. It was a horrific attack.

IB Bill, wasn't it in 1973? Oregonguy, I was was 5 blocks away from the towers. It was a horrible day. Those al-Qaeda fascists who don't know what true Islam is will pay dearly. And leatherneck, Islam is not polytheistic. Muslims beleive in all of the same prophets as Judaism and Christianity and believe in the same God as Judaism and Christianity.

Muslims are monotheistic but they certainly don't believe in the same God as Christians, who believe Jesus to be God as opposed to a mere prophet.

That's true. Jesus wasn't the son of God, but he plays an important role in the Quran. I think Islam just has a slightly different interpretation of God or Allah.

greyrooster, I understood what he said. Muslims and Christians believe in the same God, but they just have one slightly different interpretation, and that's about Jesus. Muslims think that Jesus didn't die, that it was actually Judas and that God tricked the Romans. Otherwise Muslims and Christians can agree on everything.

FACT: I realized too late that there was more to this posting than meets the eye! This posting was for brevity and not from the pen of All-seeing eye! Sorry for venting on you All-seeing eye! I have taken a shot at the messenger and I apologize for that! My haranguement was meant for whoever views Moses as stealing the Jewish slaves from the Egyptians. God will most likely ream those blasphemizers a new one anyway!

Some Dude: Saying that Jesus is not God is not a SLIGHT difference. And there is much else that differs as well (God's revealed word as the Bible and not the Koran, the Mass, the authority given to the papacy, etc.)

P.S. The whole of Christianity hinges upon Christ's death (and resurrection), thus freeing His believers from (spiritual) death. No death=no Christianity.

“Gee folks…you wash your hands when they are dirty, don’t you? You wouldn’t wipe dirt off your hands like this, would you? Well, duh, using only paper ain’t gonna work. Your ass really demands you wash it with water too.” Well, you know, she does have a point.

Didn't I see two young men in white shirts, and black tie the other day doing something with what appeared to be a Koran? I believe I did, and if I remember correctly, I sat up my camo chair, and drank a few cold ones while it was happening.

I think it was the "dumped it outside of a mosque" that could cause problems.
KKK burning crosses is ok. Burning 'em on the front lawn of a church - not so much.

The wonderful Knights of the Klan had nothing to do with such crap. We would shoot the members of the mosque. They shoot at the koran, I piss on it.

I have known for a while the the Feds would take the side of the muslims when the shooting starts, and this act of dhimmitude just proves it. Our own government is our worst enemy because they side with the enemy against us. Traitors all.
