In a Jan. 3 story about the death of former Jerusalem Mayor Teddy Kollek, The Associated Press misidentified a singer who appeared in a concert in Jerusalem to mark
Israel's 30th Independence Day. The singer was Leontyne Price, not Lena Horne.
Lena Horne.
Leontyne Price.
I dunno about you, but I think it's easy to see how the AP could get those names confused.
Ayup, AP is the source of news I trust the most.

New Orleans natives going for record. 7 days in this year. 7 murders. With only 1/2 the population of last year. Black district attorny who fired 43 white workers and replaced them with blacks arrests 7 police officers for shooting looter a week after hurricane Katrina. Black mayor and black chief of police says we have a problem. What a friggin mess. This city should be under federal control.

Michael: You have no clue. Yesterday, The FBI arrested the sheriff of our country, along with his brother, the #2 in command and 6 county deputies and six civilians. Why? A extremely large drug (meth) operation at the sheriffs property. They actually had a tanker truck full of chemical hidden in the pond behind the sheriff's house. Shit! I campained for this man and probably brought it home for him. Amazing thing is. He was still the best choice of the bunch who ran for sheriff. Hell this county now doesn't have a sheriff or chief county deputy. You would think that the FBI would appoint someone to temorarily run things. But nope. Which means no one is in charge. Think I'll get my guns and the local boys and go to city hall.
