Go see the rest. If you can stomach it.
Second piece of evidence: Howard Zinn, the darling academic of the Left and one of its most popular spokesman (you'll notice his People's History of the U.S. is referenced in Good Will Hunting) says this:
On this July 4, we would do well to renounce nationalism and all its symbols: its flags, its pledges of allegiance, its anthems, its insistence in song that God must single out America to be blessed.Professor Chaos deconstructs the rest, which is a long-winded and incoherent bemoaning of American exceptionalism.

That is amazing. I almost wish I was there, with my whole battery from my army days.
It is almost surreal, who are these people? It just seems like masochism. I really don’t think that in “real life†they could even agree with this stuff, but it is like make believe land.
How are a bunch of gay wine drinking feminist hippies going to be in support of Islamic fundamentalists of all people?
Do they know that there are no hippy art exibits at communist work camps or pool parties in Islamic theocracies!?Posted by: james at July 06, 2007 06:12 PM (jbrHP)
