Wordpress Still Hosting al Qaeda Website: Killing Americans is Muslim Duty

caravanofmartyrs.jpgA few readers e-mailed me wondering what the significance was of Osama bin Laden, in the most recent "new" video, urging Muslims to "join the caravan of martyrs." The phrase doesn't interest me as much as the fact that it's also the name of a popular website hosted on Wordpress.

http://caravanofmartyrs.wordpress.com/

Don't let the disclaimer fool you, the website explicitly endorses al Qaeda. They even go so far as praising the former leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, Abu Musam al Zarqawi. The man who personally beheaded Nick Berg and who's brutality even prompted Ayman al-Zawahiri to urge caution lest he create a negative attitude towards al Qaeda.

After a long posting on how tender and nice Zarqawi was, the website goes on to pray:

May Allah swt accept his martyrdom. Ameen.
I've mentioned the website many times before, but don't you think it's about time that Wordpress took our complaints seriously?

And just in case you don't understand where the author & website are coming from:

The ruling to kill the Americans and their allies–civilians and military–is an individual duty for every Muslim who can do it in any country in which it is possible to do it...

We — with God’s help — call on every Muslim who believes in God and wishes to be rewarded to comply with God’s order to kill the Americans and plunder their money wherever and whenever they find it.

That is from the "About" page and those are the words of Osama bin Laden.

We've complained to Wordpress about the website in the past to no avail. Either the company doesn't care or they are understaffed and not equipped to deal with such complaints. Either way, their inability or unwillingness to respond to these complaints is sickening.
