Wouldn't it be cheaper to just build and maintain a PAC-3 Patriot installation per, say, 50 Israeli houses or something? To see the true cost of this to the American tax-payer one needs to bring each years figures forward to todays' dollars at the same interest rate(s) as the U.S. deficit. And that figure is considerably larger than the roughly 63.5 Billion sum.

8 Garduneh Mehr - you are correct, however this would then bring the figures into question, necessitating  complex calculations to determine the correct figures.

At a certain point, such large numbers become abstract, and I think most people have difficulty grasping the difference between billions or trillions of dollars.
So, for the purposes of this post, I believe I've gotten my point across, with numbers that are easily verifiable and not subject to speculation.

However, if you would like to do the mathematics to compensate for inflation and other factors, and you can prove your conclusions, I would be happy to add those figures to this post.

9 Don't they owe us like a couple of dried up mummies or something for that much money? Maybe they could breakdown one of those pyramids and ship it over here stone by stone so we can rebuild it in Memphis, TN or Cairo, IL; that would be fitting. Also, why would we even need to buy off Egypt to protect Israel, it isn't like Egypt or any of the surrounding Arab countries have what it takes to invade Israel anyway unless maybe the somehow combined forces again, then maybe, but I'd still put my money on Israel. For instance, have you seen Iran's fighter compared to Israel's? There's no competition, a remodeled F-16 versus a remodeled F5E? The IAF would turn any of their air forces into desert bonfires inside of a week.

Great spiel there, great spiel...Only one problem, it displays a complete lack of knowledge regarding ISLAM. It assumes that Muslims are capable of learning certain very important lessons. The only lessons that Muslims are capable of learning are…When their tactics of murder are being caught on to and need to be adjusted…And new and more perverted ways to kill ands lie about who and why they are killing. They are not going to change because they cannot change and remain Muslim and they cannot leave Islam under penalty of DEATH. Perhaps you see someone willing die for what they believe in as a coward, that is foolish. Most of what you posted is just that, foolishness and arrogance, a fatal combination. Contrary to your foolishness, in the first Gulf War, the Iraqi Republican Guard did not crawl out of the trenches to surrender. They rallied in Bagdad to protect  Sadam. President Bush decided not to go any farther up that road.  It was the regular army that did not want to fight. That is who raised the white flag.  In the second war, the Republican Guard did not fight as they were ordered by their Generals to stand down. You show what a low opinion you have of yourself by degrading animals. People like yourself don't realize that a dog will eventually turn on you if you humilate it.  You may think you are in control, but you are not, it is a matter of time before you are bitten.  Your simple minded arrogance will lead only to destruction, not just for yourself but your entire family as they must try to survive in a world that you have made a more vile and evil place with the way you have treated others.  I'm sure the IRA would be surprised to hear that they are followers of Mecca, as would Timothy McVeigh or any of the countless others who murdered innocent people in this country.
