Why no Timetable in Afghanistan?

Australia to double its force in Afghanistan.

The article says that the "Taleban insurgency shows no sign of weakening."

Question: With a resurgent Taliban and the long-term prospects of a unified, stable, and democratic Afghanistan looking just about as likely as in Iraq, how come Nanci Pelosi and company aren't demanding a timetable for withdrawal there?

Thanks to Fred Fry for the e-mail.

Because they don't have to.  We only have to lose one war for the Democrats to win the White House.  If we had to lose two though, the Defeatocrats would be calling for a time table in Afghanistan too if that's what it meant for them to win in 2008.

4 were is jawa located?

Easy. You go about to Mos Espa and take a left. Travel out about a hundred kilometers, past the big ronto herds, and look for phallic shaped rocky mesa. Just to the right of the mesa is a large cave where the Jawa servers are located. Look for the solar panels. But I would call ahead before going out if I were you or Rusty could mistake you for a romp rat if he is plastered.

6 Randman, sorry to correct you but you make a "right" at  Mos Espa. bobo should have no problem finding it. It is as easy as looking at your puter screen so to speak.

7 Pelosi and company aren't asking for a timetable because that would make them look bad. They have been harping on finding OBL for a long time and, well, that wouldn't look good...:-)

8 Actually, our secure fortress is located on lovely Nieue Island in the Pacific Ocean.

11 Er, maybe because it's a totally different situation?

You guys have already lost the war, and it isn't the Dems fault. It's that used car salesman, and all of the incompetents he hired. This war was lost long before they recaptured the Senate and the House.

Face it 'tards... you have nobody to blame but yourselves. The world would be laughing at you if it wasn't actually so sad to see one of the greatest nations in history consumed by such intense stupidity.
