I've been informed by some of our loyal Jawa readers that my "cheesecake" posts are simply not appropriate for The Jawa Report. This is, after all, a respectable establishment and a Google news source, for God's sake.
I've been informed that, before I signed on as a guest blogger here, the use of "hot chicks" to generate traffic was just not done around here, and my repeated posting of nubile young things, Google bait and juvenile humor has apparently besmirched the image of The Jawa Report.
I've been thinking about it, and maybe these readers have a point. Perhaps Ragnar has gone overboard with the fluff(ers).
On the other hand, it occurs to me that the loudest in the group don't necessarily speak for the crowd, and we all like a little "T&A" with our news.

"Perhaps Ragnar has gone overboard with the fluff(ers).
Now if we could just get him to stop refering to himself in the third person.

Honestly, how much time *do* you really spend copying and pasting code to insert T&A pictures in a post? Just sayin.

Ragnar can you tell us what shoes Britney is wearing? does it match her purse?

I like looking at hot chicks, but I'm more of a quality than quantity guy. And Ragnar keeps posting 8s and 9s. Either limit yourself to 10s, or 'bone up' on your comedic writing skills to compensate!

OK I'm a fan of Ragnar's political posts. Count on that.
A healthy human being will always appreciate the other sex, even if they are happy in their relationship. It's the unhappy ones like WJ Clinton that you have to worry about. They are the ones who go from appreciating, to desire, to pursuit, to ... disgrace.
I finally married a woman who is perfect for me. As the years go by it just gets better and better. We don't oppress each other either. She is allowed to admire Viggo Mortensen, and I'm allowed to admire Audrey Hepburn. We forgive each other that sort of thing because it is harmless.
If Viggo, and Audrey teamed up on a daring and successful mission to expose a political conspiracy in Hollywood, and the story became known to someone like Ragnar, it would be extremely appropriate to post as a comment to the Jawa Report.
It is also appropriate to post regarding beautiful women breaking the bonds of Islamic oppression by appearing in a beauty pageant, or in movies, or even racing cars. I like the Iranian woman who came to America, became a citizen, made herself a multimillionaire, and became one of those $20 million passengers to the international space station. She is a very pretty lady, and is exactly the kind of woman who warrants a post here at the Jawa Report. In good taste. She IS an American heroine after all.
I want my neices to see women they can respect on the posts at this Blog. All our youth need good examples.
I do understand the cheescake girl on the nose of the plane type of thing. I think that is part of what Ragnar is trying to do, but nowdays the woman are piloting quite a few of those planes, and nose art isn't really showing respect for them the way they would most appreciate it. And a Blog isn't a B-17 either.
I told my wife before we got married that it was impossible for me not to notice a beautiful woman, and this is true. I've been a girl watcher for a long time. Maybe this makes my comment here hypocritical, but I really would rather see 'less' than I have been. The things that made Jayne Mansfield really remarkable were above her neck, but that is lost on people not old enough to remember. She is a borderline case for a strong woman who wouldn't do well under Sharia. Even though I am a fan, I do not think posting her was the best use of bandwidth here.
I'll still click on Ragnar's posts because I know his work on politics is worthwhile, but I will looking for substance, not skin.
In a way, that is what made some of this season's cheescake topical. It was a comment on social decay, to a large degree. Young women following bad examples, to become bad examples themselves. And Rosie's pustulent orofice spewing from her bully pulpit made some of it slightly more topical. But I believe a line was crossed. Is our friend Ragnar adding to that decay? Certainly not intentionally ... but it might be worth taking a minute to think about it.
I would appreciate a tasteful post with Audrey Hepburn in it, but I am willing to go google her and click onto her official site. I can do that on my own. What I find much more difficult is getting links to accurate news on the Jihad, the GWOT, the creeping socialism of Kos, Soros, and Chomsky, and the ACLU, and judicial activism.
Give me that first, and if you have nothing better to do, then how about a Hepburn, and Mortensen double feature (clothed). The post could talk about their impact on American culture, and I'd think that was close enough to topical to get away with.
USA, all the way!

Keep 'em coming, Ragnar! Can't be all hard news, gotta have some fun. That is one of the things that distinguishes the Right-O-sphere from the Left. They never have fun.
Of course, the other part is that they are pure insane.

I love the cheesecake posts.... BUT....
I don't think they belong here. My primary reason is that this is a great clearinghouse for information on Islamic extremism, and I often send links to this site to friends of mine as we have ongoing debates about politics and whether Islam is a religion of peace. I dread to think that one day they will follow my link only to find a sexy looking thing near the top of the blog. It just won't look good for TJR or for me, and will damage the credibility of this blog's work, especially if this friend happens to be a woman, who probably isn't particularly interested in scantily clad babes.
My suggestion is to put the cheesecake in a separate page, not the main one, so that people investigating Islam or following links from friends won't see something that will call the credibility of the blog into question.

I couldn't help but wonder if the screeching females who are complaining about the images are just a tad bit jealous of the competition?
In the interest of fairplay, Ragnar, why don't you post some beefcake for the lasses, and the limp-wristy boys. I'm certain some of them sneak over here to try and remember what it was like to once be a real man.
I find the pron pix a nice diversion, a pleasant little bit of eye candy to soften the revulsion I feel when I read about the mind-numbing incompetence and treason that the left seems to spew forth in never-ending streams.
Just remember to put on pix of real women, not those heroin-chic looking feminimrods like usually hang out with leftists. or take jobs as political bloggers. Those sorts would give a homo nightmares.
Respects,

Oh yes. I sure as hell am, and you troll for traffic with Google bait (including the cheap tart Google bait) nearly as much as I do, so please spare me your holier-than-thou hypocrisy. When you stop posting pop tarts, then you'll have a leg to stand on. 'Til then, you can stuff a sock in it.
You totally don't get it, do you?
Your point? No, actually, I don't. I doubt I'm alone on that one. If you think the posts I specifically linked are the sum total of the cheesecake posted to this blog over the last two years, you're just an idiot. I could go on with links for pages. This blog has always featured the cheesecake on a regular basis and there's nothing wrong with that.
You know, there are actually a lot of conservative and libertarian women who argue with man-hating lefty feminists who say "all wingnut men are pigs." Thanks for being yet another loser poster child on the internets for their arguments, so people like me have to say "not ALL are," rather than "no they aren't."
Beth, I honestly couldn't care less what a bunch of man-hating lefty feminists think of me. Sadly, God didn't bless them with penises and they'll never forgive him (or me) for that. Somehow, I find it tough to believe that you stay up late worrying about these things.

It is a nice break in the dread the news is. And probably does much to keep me from going postal on some of these freekin pansies that somehow see our enemies moving against US yet still think either its our fault, a hug can fix it, it's Bush's fault or Bush's exageration, we are losing in Iraq, we should just talk it out. I run into these type everyonce in a while and it really is hard not to just spot check em, especially when they say we don't need to fight them its just Bush overhyping. In those cases I just want to b*tch slap one up side the head and ask should you fight back that was 93' WT, smack Kohbar towers, smack Narobi, smack Kenya, smack Cole, then wham knock em flat and say that was 9-11, tell.me when its OK to start fighting back.
I have sereous disdain for hollywood I believe they are both a main source of the cultural rot in the west and alot of why the world hates US so. I don't watch movies much if any, don't follow or even know all the stars in chic of X day of the week, or even watch what passes as TV. However I do like the Ragner post on the hollywood garbage news for two reasons. 1) better him than me follow that crap 2) it is nice in my daily travels to have at least functional knowledge of the recent hollywood crap that everyone seems to conversate about ala Britney punany on display (also qualifies as Hot chick theater double bonus), Parris hilton daily ho challenge, Parris hitlon crew ho out competition ect.... After all Hollywood garbage is always a good safe topic (when you don't need a fighting conversation like reality of the world).
Dam this turned into a long dribble of wated time...

To paraphrase England's great bard "A little T&A hightens the mirth but dulls the wits".
A little endrophin release now and then does not no harm; in fact it may do some good.
Well done Ragnar :-)

Here's how you decide if cheesecake posts are good.
Lots of hits = good
fizzle = not good
How am I ever going to sell out to "the man" without the hits?

Unless the people who run/own Jawa say something about the content nose-diving into the cesspool of the blogosphere, keep on posting as you do, Rag... Do-Rag! /guffaw.
I likes them ta-tas.
