What Motivated the Salt Lake City Shooter?

According to police, he wanted to "kill a large number of people":

Sulejmen Talovic, 18, wanted to "to kill a large number of people" and probably would have killed many more if not for the off-duty officer, police Chief Chris Burbank said.

The family is, as always, baffled:

Even Talovic's aunt, Ajka Omerovic, says the family doesn't know the man who could commit five murders and attempt many more.
Ajka Omerovic: "We only know him as a good boy, very patient and everything."
People who knew him said he showed up to work and acted like it was any other day, so they don't know what would set him off.
Police officers are still trying to determine why Monday night's deadly shooting happened. Even the family of the shooter can't seem to answer that question.
Sulejmen Talovic's family is baffled at what happened. When we spoke with his aunt she couldn't believe her nephew was capable of killing so many people.
Ajka Onerovic, Gunman's Aunt: "We want to know what happened just like you guys. We have no idea. He was such a good boy. We don't know what happened."

We are, of course, not supposed to mention the elephant in the room, but at least one editor was asleep at the wheel when this story went through:

A family friend, who didn't want to be identified, told us Talovic's upbringing may have played a role. He was a Muslim-Bosnian, born in war-torn Bosnia. Talovic has lived in Utah for the past several years. He dropped out of high school in 2004.

2 Perhaps he had some of the same motivations of Charles Roberts the gunman who killed the 5 Amish schoolgirls last October ?

There are 15-18000 Americans murdered eaqch year. I don't know why this latest tradgedy happened but I think it improper at this time to say that he was driven by some warped religion.
Sometimes I think that the only way for some people to believe in cliamate change is if we can somehow tie it in to the muslims. Yeah I've got it !! The global warming is ipart of the muslims plan to takeover the world. That is why they got us addicted to burning their oil ! Damn them Arabs! look what they have made us do !

It's simple statistics. Any given murder/rape/vandalism is probably not done by a muslim, but muslims commit WAY more than their fair share of these crimes. Why do you think that is?

6 Rusty: I'm the caller that plugged Jawa Report on the Hugh Hewitt show. I have been all over this story too. I heard the Press Conference by the SLC Police and could hear the TAP DANCING. My ears peaked and I was off to the races. Today the Derseret Morning News conformed what you and I suspected: Ajka Omerovic, who said she was Talovic's aunt, visited the home Tuesday afternoon. She told the Deseret Morning News that Talovic had been "a good boy." She said the family are Muslims from Bosnia who had lived in the vicinity of Sarajevo.

7 Actually this broke when I was posting the new Zawahiri vid from the house. I thought the MO was al-Qaeda inspired. remember they are waging economic warfare. The idea behind attacks on malls is to make consumers fear shopping. It's been a well known part of their strategy and threats for years. But I held back because you never know. It could be just some idiot. Turns out it was an idiot who just happend to be Muslim and just happened to follow al-Qaeda's ideas to the letter. Coincidence? I doubt it. He may have had other reasons to do it as well, but he followed the ideas and strategy put forth by al-Qaeda.

then you have more in common with Charles Roberts than any christian does. LOL!

The christian religion commands it followers to love God, not hate him. Also, not to murder people. Therefore Mr. Roberts was violating his religion when he murdered those people and hating God-- not following it. That hardly qualified as a religiously motivate crime. If anything, his crime was ANTI-religiously motivated.

Notice also how the christian families of his victims showered the murderer's family with love and forgiveness. Now THAT was religiously motivated.

Again, the hatred for the christian God you and Charles Roberts share practically makes you two ideological peas in a pod! LOL.
