Virtual Tour of Captured Palestinian Arms

The Intelligence and Terrorism Research Center presents a virtual tour of it's collection of captured palestinian 'materials'. These materials include a smörgåsbord of guns, grenades, rockets, suicide belts, a wide variety of munitions and the materials to build new weapons.

The online display is in the form of a Quicktime virtual tour that may be navigated by mouse, and it provides a clear glimpse into the heart of the Palestinian methodology.

From the tour's description:

The Display is meant to help the public understand the features of Palestinian terrorism, its dimensions and its ideological, cultural and practical aspects. It contains documents, exhibits and various captured items relating to terrorism and the incitement to hatred and violence.

The Display is the first of its kind and includes a selection of authentic documents (taken from the apparatuses of the Palestinian Authority and the Palestinian terrorist organizations), inflammatory propaganda materials and weapons, both homemade and among those captured on the ship “Karin A.”

The exhibits were sorted and chosen from a wealth of material captured by IDF soldiers and the Israeli security forces during Operation Defensive Shield (April 2002) and during the missions they have carried out since in their on-going struggle against Palestinian terrorism.

1 Amazing! The first thing I noticed was the Saggar missile, but instantly I wanted a closer look at what seemed to be one of a newer kind of roadside mine. It's basically a tube that can sit alongside a road, and it launches an anti-vehicular warhead as a vehicle passes. I couldn't zoom in enough. In any case it's a more sophisticated 'mine' than your old fashioned 'run-over-it' type. I think it speaks to foriegn aid for Hamas. I've seen other evidence that the pallies have these, so I think it's worth mentioning.
