US prison to force-feed Sami al-Arian

Can You Smell What The Rock's Got Cookin'?

According to the Associated Press:

Prison workers soon might force feed a former university professor who has been on a hunger strike for six weeks to protest his imprisonment for refusing to testify about Palestinian charities, his lawyer said Wednesday.

Sami al-Arian, a Palestinian who taught computer science at the University of South Florida, stopped eating Jan. 22 in objection to a judge's decision to hold him indefinitely because he refused to testify before a grand jury.

He has lost more than 40 pounds (18 kilograms) on his water-only diet and is so weak that he needs a wheelchair, said his wife, Nahla al-Arian.

1 Bullshit move! If the asshole wishes to die. Let him. Have we lost our right to die if we wish. Un-Ameican.     On the other side. The prick knows we won't let him die. And he's using that fact. Let him die and send that message to the rest of them.

2 Why do we continue to bring these muslim assholes to our educational institutions? Academia is stupid. Allow these muslim animals to indoctrinate our young people. Academia needs an enemia.

4 Right about now, he's hoping for some judge to order the force-feeding.  Let him die but make sure he has full view of a buffet of stuffed pork chop and bacon cheeseburgers that he can't get at.

5 Why don't we just stick a baked potatoe in his mouth and plug him into "ole sparky" It's in the back room just collecting dust anyhow these days...... here's the question, does a non US citizen have the right to starve himself to death? Does the US have the right to ensure that the suicide is prevented when the attemptor may have information that could contribute to saving US lives? Hell yes. Should he be force fed pork? No, he should be able to decide to go ahead and eat to avoid it being the "blue plate special" Now.... do any of you hippy lovers out there know what a blue plate special is?
