I love the peaceniks. I really do. Their ability to come up with mindless arguments and then parrot them incessantly never ceases to amaze.
This "disproportionate force" idea is only the latest example.
The primary reason there are only 30 Israelis dead is that Hizb'Allah is firing small, unguided rockets. If they were using precision ordnance, I guarantee there'd be a lot more than 400 Israelis dead.
If this "disproportionate force" idea were applied domestically, cops responding to a lone hostage-taker with a .38 special could only send out one cop--armed only with a single .38 special. Sending in the SWAT team would be "disproportionate force"--especially if the hostages were just two secretaries. (Apparently, the social status of the hostages is very important to the left, for some reason.) The responding cop can carry no more bullets than the hostage-taker, and can't shoot unless & until the hostage-taker does, and then only one-for-one. If the hostage-taker empties his revolver, he must, of course, be given ample time to reload. He gets unlimited "time outs" as needed. He can do this at any time by calling for "negotiations" (a fancy word for "time out"). And it'd be preferable if the cop wasn't a particularly effective cop. Sending in Dirty Harry would, for example, be disproportionate--even without his .44 magnum. Dirty Harry has been known to use even common household objects in an unconventional and "disproportionate" manner.

Syria actually instigated it at the behest of Iran. Syria and Iran want a pressence in Lebanon. Instead they are being driven back even further.
BTW, Iran has promised a response to the Nuke issue in mid/late August. Don't be too surprised if it is a missile launched at Israel.

Here's the big secret: To win a war, you use disproportionate force.

since they don't have air planes they must use Katyushas.
The main thing is any person, place or thing can be used up to drive the jews from Palistine.
Islam is the enemy treat it as such.

Something like 'Hunayn' which means they pretend to be limping little lambs, from the field of battle, defeated and wanting peace -- only to regroup and attack even stronger?

If I were planning to attack Israel I might think having a decent Army with you know good weapons planes and tanks would be in order before I went and got my as shot off.

But hey, Kerry said he would never have let this happen. This whole thing is B.S. Israel, kill every terrorist, and clear a very wide area on your north border. Screw the U.N. what have they done for the Sudan? Now they want to send a strongly worded letter to Israel; Please.

I knew Israel was going to dissapoint me. Didn't I say they'd turn out to be a bunch of paper tigers? Just as I predicted.
