Two Islamic Terror Items

#1 - Those universal peace advocates known as Hamas are ready to resume civil war with their political opponents:

The ruling Hamas accused a key ally of President Mahmoud Abbas on Friday of trying to assassinate the prime minister, inflaming tensions between rival Palestinian factions to their highest point in a decade as fighting spread to the West Bank.

The heated accusations came after several days of bloodshed and the collapse of talks between Hamas and Abbas' Fatah Party on setting up a joint government. Abbas, who has tried for months to persuade Hamas to moderate its hardline positions in hopes of ending an international aid boycott, was to deliver a speech Saturday saying he would call early elections if the deadlock continues - a measure Hamas vehemently rejects.

#2 - Hezbullah is demanding a greater role in Lebanese government, despite a democratic vote of "Get the f*ck outta here:"

Hezbollah is pushing for more power in a new Lebanese Cabinet partly to avoid being disarmed by any future government, a senior official in the guerrilla group said Friday.

The remarks by Mahmoud Komati, deputy head of Hezbollah's political bureau, were the first time the Shiite Muslim group has publicly acknowledged a direct link between weapons possession and its drive for more power.

Hezbollah's disarmament is a top demand of the United States and Israel. The U.N. cease-fire resolution that ended the Hezbollah-Israel war in August also calls for the group's eventual disarmament.

Notice how the UN demands something, and the jihadi bugs laugh in their faces. Are we learning yet, appeaseniks?
