1 I grew between Henly, Blanco and Wimberley, where there isn't a store within 16 miles and if you need milk, you get it from your goat or cow.

We think very highly of the the good Dr. Paul, who represents the Great State of Texas's, 14th Congressional District, despite what the Yankee, Carpetbagging, Talking Heads have to say about him.

On Earth as it is in Texas!

CountryDude, you may think highly of Dr. Paul, but I have watched [personally] his plunging deeper and deeper into the vast depths of moonbattery.  So much so that I could no longer campaign for him or support him.  Redistricting took me out of his district.

Not that Lloyd [Snop Dog] Doggett is any better, but at least Doggett has an excuse, he is a member of the New Socialist Dhimmicratic Party.

Paul needs to go ahead and jump into the Libertarian Party and quit calling himself a Republican.  He has already jumped the shark.  But he won't because he know it would cost him his seat.  So while you may think he is the bastion of truth and justice, how truthful is a man who remains a Republican just so he will be re-elected?

3 I don't know much about Ron Paul, but US foreign policy prior to 9/11 clearly helped Islamic extremists flourish.

Dubya has it right when he says that supporting dictatorships with a goal of "stability" and "containment" is not only ignoble, it crushes and twists the individuals living in such a country... leading to things like 9/11.

The US must promote FREEDOM around the globe.  We must fight for it.  This is the only way we can hope for peace anywhere.

Everything I heard from Paul in and after the debate seemed like he was trying to say this, but was just attacked for it.

4  Countrydude. I am a fifth generation Texan and I think Paul is a complete fucking nut.

5 Paul seems to be blaming our "interventionism" not our immoral support and containments.

We MUST be interventionist in the cause of freedom and democracy.

6 Randman,
It's all a smear campaign. Any threatening independent is going to be subject of such libel. That's why we're in a death spiral as a country. We've got no real leaders, just party hacks.
As Paul says, it's the new Republicans that have abondoned the party, anyway.

7  CountryDude. You seem like a nice guy but man...I have been listening to the words coming out of Paul's mouth so enough with that smear crap. That BS he spewed the other night about 9/11 being our fault is the best new example. His "blowback" theory is the exact same one that the far left and communist trot out all the time. Its the same crap our terrorist enemies espouse as well. I could go on and on.

8 Randman,
The so called, "Blowback Theory", was coined by our own CIA.
But thanks, I am a nice guy.
