The View wanted her for 3 more years, but she would only offer them 1 year. The View's ratings have gone up by double digits since Rosie joined.

No, according to rosie on her blog. ABC won't do one year contracts. The only reason they did the last one was, "because Barbara made them." So I guess Barbara couldn't or wouldn't make them agree to a one year deal this time.

That photo is odd. It freezes her visage in a seeming moment of repose. That could have been captured only with a high speed camera, kind of like images of hummingbirds in mid flap. It almost makes her seem human.

Rosie is not a "class act" at all. She is a clinically
mad woman who has an audience that keeps those dollars rolling her way. Credits go to her for being able to support herself, and those around her. Beyond that, I find her a sick human being who struggles every day to seek balance. Personally, I don't like her thoughts and think her expressions on sexuality defensive at best. From the "View" I learned how really small Bawa Walters truly is. My hunch is that Rosie's world is operational via a Sado-Masochistic controlling dynamic.
