There's certainly been a rash of fake news this year--or at least there's been a rash of EXPOSED fake news. Who knows how many fake news stories we bought over the years? I suppose we'll never know.
At any rate, the sight of Jayson Blair and Green Helmet back in the news, coupled with all the shenanigans at AP, got me thinking about fake news, and inspired me to do the photoshop above. I'm wondering if anyone else might be in the mood for a FAKE NEWS photoshop contest. Below the fold, I've uploaded "green screen" versions of some of the greatest fakers in the news, just to make it easy for ya. (Yes, I know Ted Turner's not really a journalist, but I really can't stand the guy, so I threw him in, too.) I'm sure you know what to do. Shoot your submissions to me via email.
NOTE : If you want credit for your work, please put your ID or URL in your image. Keeping track of who submitted what is a major headache.
