More than anything, Zakaria Amara wanted to serve God. But it was never easy, especially not while living in Canada.

During the summer of 2004, the then-18-year-old felt disgusted by women who were immodestly dressed. For the same reason, he couldn't watch television. He and his wife Nada Farooq stopped going to movies. One of his devout friends in England sent him a desperate e-mail asking for help in beating an addiction to pornography.

Instead of trying to kill Canadians, blow shit up and behead the prime ministrer, why didn't they just return to their home countries? As I have said before, if radical Muslims don't like their new countries, they are free to return to the authoritarian, theocratic hell-holes where they were born. There is no reason to try to turn the West into the places they left.

Meanwhile, an Ontario group says Islamophobia is the real problem because a number of windows were broken in a mosque after the 17 Muslims were arrested for the plot.

Perspective? What is that? More from the Jihadi:

"I just feel that there are too many demands and too many formalities. A lack of freedom to do what is halal [permissible] and a big door wide open to do what is haram [forbidden]," Mr. Amara writes. "The people are enslaved to themselves or to their parents or to someone else. . . . The direction is to everything Allah made haram."

This is immaturity and the typical victimization argument.

Update: Ace style! I don't mean the old 1960's "Love it or leave it." If your family comes from Hellhole A and you are so miserable in Maple Leaf B that you start thinking of killing everyone, blowing up buildings and beheading the prime minister, it seems reasonable that you should take your sorry ass back to Hellhole A where the society has the traits you want. Trying to change everyone else to make things in your chosen ideal is thinking like an 8 year old. Adults should know better.

And the crap about anything Islamic being harram (forbidden) is typical. "I want you all to be Muslims and act like Muslims like my fire-breathing imam preaches. You refuse? Then you are preventing me from being a good Muslim by tempting me with your huge milky jugs and curvy buttocks! Stop forcing me to surf to the Big-boobed Infidels website, I demand it!"

At least he didn't want to enslave 10 year old girls.
