Sunni Insurgent Honeymoon Over

It seems a lovers spat had emerged amongst the members of the ISI.(Islamic State of Iraq) And to think the bad gay circle of the scented lotion they held was just a short time ago.

Via Talismans Gate: Al-Zawra began running some anti-Al-Qaeda messages in its news ticker, and the jihadists began to mumble and some even penned invectives against al-Jebouri.

Yesterday, however, Al-Jebouri gave a whole anti-Al-Qaeda speech and this drove the jihadists berserk: the premier jihadist organ had begun to badmouth the jihad!

These are al-Jebouri’s main points:

-Al-Qaeda provoked the Shi'as and then failed to protect the Sunnis from retaliation.

-Al-Qaeda is forcing all the other insurgent groups to pledge allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq under Abu Omar al-Baghdadi, and is punishing the hold-outs.

-Al-Qaeda is killing and abducting Sunni notables who were part of the insurgency.

-Al-Qaeda wants to impose a Taliban-like Islamic State on Iraqi Sunnis, who are the worse for it—they don’t even have enough to eat.

-Al-Qaeda killed an emissary sent by al-Jebouri, who has wanted to negotiate with al-Baghdadi.

-Iraqi Sunnis across the board are preparing to clash with Al-Qaeda as is already happening in Anbar Province.

Al-Jebouri gets into details and names names, and he addresses his speech to Abu Omar al-Baghdadi, questioning the validity of pledging allegiance to an anonymous phantom.

Is al-Zawraa supported by the Islamic Army in Iraq, a Baathist dominated insurgent group, or al-Qaeda in Iraq's Mujahideen Shura Council? The distinction may be meaningless, as the two organizations have worked together in the past.

Here is part of a statement in which the Islamic State of Iraq thanks and lends credit to the Islamic Army in Iraq and al-Qaeda.

To the media, the Islamic State reminds that al-Qaeda in Iraq, along with “thousands of fighters” from several groups including the Islamic Army in Iraq, Mujahideen Army, Conquering Army, Ansar al-Sunnah, Twentieth Revolution Brigades, and Iraqi Union, are components of the Islamic State of Iraq.

Rusty says, think of it this way:

the larger umbrella group (which is just an al Qaeda front), which used to call itself "The Mujahideen Shura Council" is now called "The Islamic State of Iraq". This is headed by al Baghdadi Al Qaeda in Iraq, headed by Masri, is just one of the organizations that belong to "The Islamic State of Iraq". Back when Zarqawi was over al Qaeda, the other jihadis wanted an "Iraqi" to front the group since he's Jordanian. But, really, they are all "al Qaeda" in the "al-Qaeda 3.0" sense of the word. Same goals, same tactics, just different organizational structures and commanders.

Remember what the goal of the ISI is? Let the phantom Bahgdadi tell us himself. During the honeymoon he said.

So, it came the blessed step of building the solid basis for the Islamic State in al-Rafedain land (Iraq) , following the Prophet's example, there the building is rising , and seen by every supporter and hateful, and this is what drove the enemy of Allah Bush to say after the blessed appearance of the State, they design to found an Islamic State from China to Spain.

Here he was truthful even if he is a liar!!

The same goals espoused by al-Qaeda. The Islamic State of Iraq does not want to help Iraq. They want to use Iraq as a stepping stone. The more Iraqis suffer the more it helps their goal. Peace in Iraq and a better life for the Sunnis is not on the program.

Now, after the Islamic Army has lain with the devil, it wants to split the sheets. The Islamic State of Iraq issued what appears to be a response blaming IAI for the troubles. Heh, a “he said, she said.

“You the Sunni people don’t have after four years of humiliation and occupation but only the jihad. Al-Dajjal Army and the pigs of al-Ghadr dare to attack you as they do now. You don’t have anything but your sons the Mujahideen to defend your homes and mosques. The Crusaders and the Safawis are using the members of the Islamic party as tools and life savers to save themselves from their disaster.”

And right after Valentine’s Day too. Tsk tsk tsk. Is next step to be domestic violence? Let's hope so. If the insurgents start killing each other, it saves the US and the Iraqi Army the trouble.

Update: OSC JN Bureau has a narrative of Al-Juburi's speech here. Note this is exactly what al-Qaeda wants. They want to create a situation in which they are “needed”. Then they want to assert thier dominace over other groups as well. They and their biyatches must all be defeated. Because as we all know these two will be back together holding hands in no time.
