Suicide Booths or Getting Gay for Gaia?

Suicide_Booth.JPGFolks, the suicide booth's time has finally arrived. Futurama: your future, only funnier.

Times Online:

HAVING large families should be frowned upon as an environmental misdemeanour in the same way as frequent long-haul flights, driving a 4×4 car and failing to reuse plastic bags, according to a report to be published tomorrow by a green think tank.
Once you identify man's very existence as the cause of the world's problems, then its not such a slippery slope to the introduction of the suicide booth. Or, as David Thompson notes, to the forced drinking of the Kool Aid.

But I think Carnal Reason has been watching way too much South Park:

We will have a problem living the dream, a world devoid of humans, as long as screwing is more popular than dying. What we need is a radical change of thought and lifestyle. A new ethic, a new way of life. A new sexual revolution. You know what I’m talking about. Just think of it as Getting Gay for Gaia.
That joke never gets old!

1 Wow, I'm in big trouble! I've got 4 kids and dream of one day having numerous grandchildren. I'd love to have my obituary say "she is survived by her 4 children, 36 grandchildren and 198 great-grandchildren."  I think I'll go have a couple more just for good measure.

4 Hmmm, if we could just convince the liberals to drink the Kool-Aid every thing would just be peachy.

5 Sounds like natural selection to me.  The morons that believe this stuff won't reproduce and raise the next generation of morons.

6 I've seen an arguement made that we should turn to legalized cannibalism. There was a quote, when a reporter asked a demostrator if they were volunteering, she explained that she was needed to help spread the word, and move the cause forward.  So... exempted from the menu.  I can look for a link. I'm not 100% sure thay were serious, but they had put a lot of effort into thier presentation. (lefty demonstrator style, but it was still 'effort')  Anyway, it's a world of wolves out there!
                                 USA, all the way!

7 This is getting way too crazy. Reminds me of Chinas ban on births. When you think about it islamists have a high birth rate and limiting caucasions births to 2 you get a world dominated by islam plain and simple. Gaad we need gallons of koolaide to stop this madness!

12 Sandpiper, that was one of them on my mind.

Another one had to do with with an overpopulated planet where they infected one of the children of the leaders with some disease and then they were going to have her sow the disease among the general public. She was a hotty so Kirk couldn't let that stand.
