Based on clinical work and analyses of more than 1,000 scientific studies, Dr. Brizendine's research found that "the simple act of talking triggers a flood of brain chemicals which give women a rush similar to that felt by heroin addicts when they get a high." It's not that way with us guys.
From TheRegister.co.uk:
Dr Luan Brizendine of the University of California, who's published her shock findings in The Female Brain, says the average woman works her way through 20,000 words per day, compared with just 7,000 for the average bloke. She says "women devote more brain cells to talking than men", and cites fundamental differences between male and female brains as the cause.According to "self-proclaimed feminist" Dr. Brizendine, the difference is explained by the level of testosterone in a person. The high level of testosterone in males suppresses those areas of the brain which control communication, emotion and memory.
Now, a logical conclusion would be that males have better listening skills than women. After all, if women are yakking most of the time, they can't be talking to other women since they, too, are yakking. Therefore, women must be talking to men and, as a result, men empirically are more adept at listening since they do it three times as much as women.
On the contrary, says Dr. Brizendine who runs a female "mood and hormone" clinic in San Francisco. According to her psychiatric feminist research, the testosterone in the male brain also shrinks the primary hearing cortex which makes them "deaf" to most logical arguments. However, the shrinkage in one area of the brain is compensated for by the expansion of the areas of the brain which control sexual thought processing.
Notably, not everyone concurs with Dr. Brizendine's assertions since there is no common agreement regarding testosterone's effect on the brain. Personally, I view the contention that women talk too much as about right, but it's ludicrous to label men as "deaf" to logic.
In summary, research found that women talk most of the time while men don't and the reason is that women don't have nasty testosterone to make them deaf and fiendish about sex.
Dr. Brizendine is reported to be affiliated with the University of California but in which capacity is unclear. Internet searches under 'psychobabble studies' and 'feminist psychiatric hooey' failed to return any useful results.

So if they are yapping while eating chocolate I guess their bodies go into orgasmic convulsions.

I must say though, I know a few men who can talk just as much, if not more than, women. They must have too much estrogen or something.
And as for men, we all know that while women prefer to express themselves verbally and logically, men prefer to express themselves through physical roughness. (see: Football, Rugby and WWE for examples)
Men are nothing but overdeveloped Neanderthals. They've developed something called "selective hearing" that enables them to block out our endless droning on about shoes, purses, emotions, weight issues and what so-and-so said about what's-her-face down the block last Tuesday. Personally, I can't blame them.

Of course, being the female supremacist flake that she is, she's unaware that the harder a person's brain works on a simple task, the stupider that person is, and that jabbering is not communication.
I have to wonder what kind of advanced scientific method she used to prove her idiotic assertion that the "primary hearing cortex" (snort!) is atrophied in men. phrenology? Is this assertion an example of a woman's superior skill for logical argumentation?
I guess she's also the only woman on Earth who doesn't know why men tone out half of what women blather on about.

I call that my man power. To tune out women and crying babies. Its a survival mechanism for both sides.

No prob. My wife can read anything I do, and she uses more words in conversation as well.
All it means is that women invest more energy in detailed conversation.
Women and men are different, and that is an obvious and unavoidable truth. Its also nice.
The sexist interpretation of research runs both ways, and is better material for a joke, than it is for a real discussion of gender specialities.

If women invest more energy in detailed conversation, why do men have to tell them everything at least twice, and why do they think the patience it takes to do this means we don't appreciate them? If they were good with details they would be able to read a map.

Ladies use more words'
Lady= "You should have seeen the exquisite pink dress I found at 'Gibsons, you know, down by the golf course? Well anyway, as an accessory it comes with a lovely lemon colored sash, and I found a matching pair of shoes that complement the dress in just the perfect way! I was nearly in tears when I saw the price tag, but then I realized that we are having that yard sale on Saturday, and everything came together. you wouldn't have any issue with me getting that wondeful dress, if we make enough at the sale, would you?"
Gentleman = "So you found a pink dress and a belt and shoes that you like? And if we have the money you want to buy them? Sure, go ahead."
Lady = "But aren't you interested? The fabric was just ..."
Gentleman = "I said it was OK."
AND SO ON!
They invest more energy in detailed conversation. They don't process male bluntness as well as blunt males do. They get ticked of if your blunt because they don't think you care.
But of course, we love our beautiful women more than we can usually manage to say. We are different, and its OK. More words can be good for what a woman is, in the real world. She needs those 'wordy' abilities in her capacity as a mother.
A man, whether you agree or not, is not by nature, tied down with pregnancy, nursing babies, or explaining the world to battling tykes. Until modern times, men ranged, and women stayed close to the community center.
Men are blunt communicators, and convey complex relational issues with phrases like "Hey! Asshole!" A woman would more likely say "What do you think your doing? You Bitch!" Two words versus eight words. See?
Then one guy punches the other, where the women are still warming up.
'President pelosi! The Iranin missile is at mid point in its tragectory! Do we have authorization for a counterstrike?' And she'll be on the phone with one of AHMASTINKBOMBS minions 'I'm trying to tell you, we are trying to negotiate!' blah blah.
Most of the time a women is beautiful in her use of words, but sometimes words are clutter.
So now that I have defeated my own argument with all of this wordy crap, did I at least make you laugh?
USA all the way!
it may sound sexist
