Stay Classy, HuffPo Commenters

Re: Fred Thompson's lymphoma.

Pretty much all the cynicism, callousness, insensitivity and hyperpolitical venom you'd expect. That, and a lot of strange rants about the "Fairness" Doctrine. Eight different screenshots for your, um, 'entertainment.'

McCain, Rudi and now Thompson (if he runs) three republican candidates for president would have cancer or treatible cancer.

So Elizabeth Edwards is not running for president her husband is. She and John were soundly trashed in the press for the fact that he ever dared to run.

Now what in the hell are they going to say about these three, after all...they....are running for president not the spouse of one who is.

And why in hell are they talking about McCain and Rudi..This sucks..and until we get the Fairness Doctrine re-instated we will never be able to get the real messages out.

1 Wow, where have I been? I wasn't aware that Fred Thompson was ill. Prayerfully he'll have a full recovery. I rather like the guy, and think he could be a great candidate -- in my humble, Democratic opinion, you guys REALLY need someone new, who has the potential to unite the country should he be elected. Thompson might be the guy.

2 fairness doctrine, what a load of crap.

http://www.heritage.org/Research/Regulation/EM368.cfm

The new supposed fairness doctrine is nothing less then the left turds latest attempt at fascist censorship over those whose opinions differ from their own. The left/communist liberals in America control the vast majority of media outlets with perhaps the single exception of talk radio, this new fairness doctrine is nothing less then an attempt to silence conservative voices on talk radio. The one thing these despicable shameless communists pretending to be socialist masquerading as liberals cannot tolerate is public dissent with their opinions and ideologies. Their quest for a totalitarian regime where only their views opinions and ideologies are heard or seen should be viewed by honest patriotic Americans as that of TREASON…………..

I like Fred's odds.

AQ vs. Fred.

Ditto.

4 Fairness Doctrine. Hate speech. Double standard race comments. The countless attacks by the left on campuses all over the country to stop people from giving speech or debates. The modern Dhimmicrats are the new fascist of censorship.

5 Randman,
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.  The Democratic Party has always been the party for fascism and censorship.

(How long till some tard lefty trots out the "fascism = corporations" fake quote from Mussolini?)

6 Fairness Doctrine = censorship, plain and simple.  I can hear the squeals and screeching from the moonbat leftists if the "Fairness Doctrine" was aimed at them, the sissyfied twits.

7 So as a theoretical question, what do you do if they pass 'fairness doctrine' into law?                          USA, all the way!

8 Michael Weaver,

Then we force them to suck their own cocks real hard by using the 'fairness doctrine' to get the likes of Michael Savage or Rush Limbaugh doing the evening new on ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN.
