Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal [Pakistani Jamat-e-Islami] President Qazi Hussain Ahmed has said he did not believe that Osama Bin Laden was capable of carrying out the sophisticated September 11 attacks on New York and Washington. “The Zionists must be behind the attacks as they were the only beneficiaries of the September 11 incident,†he said in an interview with BBC’s Hardtalk programme.

Judge: Mr. Hutz we've been in here for four hours. Do you have any evidence at all?
Lionel Hutz: Well, Your Honor. We've plenty of hearsay and conjecture. Those are kinds of evidence.

It's not nearly as bad as before, but you may notice that sometimes a comment won't post or a page doesn't load properly the first time. Just try again and it should come right.
All the backups are completely up to date in case things take a sudden turn for the even worse.

A few even make the leap that since we knew of Atta and did nothing, that the US conducted the attacks themselves. Hey, and throw in the Zionists for good measure because it was all about the benjamins. Or a pipeline. Or about urban renewal. Or some other such blather.
If the 9/11 Commission has a lasting legacy, it is that they contributed to the conspiracy theories by purposefully leaving out significant pieces of information.

Just goes to show - the Taliban and their counterparts on the Christian right are two sides of the same coin.

Now that I’ve got that off me chest, let me share one of my favorite stories about the love and comradeship our Arab and Israeli friends have for each other:
Two Arabs boarded a shuttle out of Washington for New York. One sat in the window seat, the other in the middle seat. Just before takeoff a fat, little Israeli guy got on and took the aisle seat next to the Arabs. He kicked off his shoes, wiggled his toes and was settling in when the Arab in the window seat said, "I think I'll go up and get a coke."
"No problem," said the Israeli. "I'll get it for you."
While he was gone, the Arab picked up the Israeli's shoe and spit in it. When the Israeli returned with the coke, the other Arab said, "That looks good. I think I'll have one too."
Again, the Israeli obligingly went to fetch it, and while he is gone the Arab other picked up the other shoe and spit in it. The Israeli returned with the coke, and they all sat back and enjoyed the short flight to New York.
As the plane was landing the Israeli slipped his feet into his shoes and knew immediately what had happened.
"How long must this go on?" he asked. "This enmity between our peoples..... this hatred... this animosity... this spitting in shoes and peeing in cokes?"
Well, enough of this confession, I know it’s good for the soul, but I’ve got potatoes on the stove and those 15 kids are hungry. May the wind always be at your back,
and me ye be in heaven a half hour before the devil knows your dead.
