Saddam to Hang…

...in 30 days or less.

AP Via Yahoo: The sentence "must be implemented within 30 days," chief judge Aref Shahin said. "From tomorrow, any day could be the day of implementation."

On Nov. 5, an Iraqi court sentenced Saddam to the gallows for ordering the 1982 killings following an attempt on his life.

Under Iraqi law, the appeals court decision must be ratified by President Jalal Talabani and Iraq's two vice presidents. Talabani opposes the death penalty but has in the past deputized a vice president to sign an execution order on his behalf — a substitute that was legally accepted.

The Baath party, in Novemeber and most likely from Syria, issued a statement threatening retaliation of Saddam is executed.
Iraq Updates.com: "If president Saddam Hussein is executed ... the party will reinforce its siege against the Green Zone," which houses Iraqi government offices and the US embassy, said the party's command on its official site.
Hat Tip: Vinnie.

1 God I love Iraqi justice. If only San Quentin could kill Death Row inmates in a year at the most instead of thirty eyars.

2 Aren't those the same Syrians who Kerry, Nelson, former Democrat Arlen Specter, et al. are trying to "negotiate" with?

Wonder if this will be on the list of discussion topics.

Preening pompous morons.

3 Good Lt: Yes!  The funny thing is I saw that press release and the Baath party's releases look just like the terrorist releases....go figure.

4 Good to hear that justice will finally be served, but I don't think it will make the slightest difference on the ground in Iraq.  I think we have more to concentrate on, at present.  Saddam is an old story - let him hang.  Just heard on the wires that the EU has asked the Iraqi government to suspend the death sentence.  God I hate European politics, they are spinless snakes.
Happy Christmas

6 one arab hanged, many millions more to go.

do not lose focus on who the enemies of America are.

7 No one deserves to hang any more than Saddam.

It should be no wonder to anyone that Saddam was so happy to kill target groups of Iraqi civilians. The Baath party was little more than a Nazi party for Arabs. Hitler was even seen in a positive light by its membership.

There are many connections between the worst of modern Arab extremeism, and the grand fascists of Europe. I do not doubt that the Baathists have another Saddam hiding inside their political cult, ready to do his worst if they ever regain enough power.

So by all means. Whack the dirty bastard Saddam, then 'lock and load' for his 'Nazi' pals.

USA, all the way!

8 Yea! Jessie Jackson, Al Sharton and the Clinton bitch.

9 I meant thirty years. Sorry for the spelling error. It's just ridiculous how our justice system takes decades to kill a death row inmate. They complain that it's too painful yet they liked strangling a poor woman.

Posted by: Frank Hunter at December 26, 2006 03:26 PM (JGiPv)

10 Amen to that. Some of these killers spend 30 on death row.

11 >>>one arab hanged, many millions more to go.

Leftwing troll, f-ck off.

12 Saddams Reaction: I think I'm going to be sick. Can I get a barf bag ... please!

13 Mark my words, if this execution is carried out, there'll be Sunnis running wild in the streets slaughtering every Shiite they see.

Wait a minute ...

Posted by: Eastsider at December 26, 2006 11:32 PM (LxyIe)

14 And the left is already spinning this as a non issue as they plan memorial ceremonies and monuments.

James Gay Fisthole may not be the only leftist troll. Alan reads like a troll too. The Iraqis disagree with your tendentious comment, Alan. Hussein's execution will have lasting repercussions throughout Iraq and the larger islamopitheicine world. I think you're trying to snow people with your wishful thinking.

Leastsider:

Marx my propaganda: If this execution is carried out, civilized America will have a higher murder rate than the "hopeless civil war" in Iraq.

Wait a minute....

15 I am an irrelevant fop who vomits forth the same non sequiturs, cute  plays-on-names and similar babblings from post to post. Please feel free to ignore me.

16 Only a wretched little prick who cant support his empty argument stoops to impersonating someone they cant counter.

Either that, or you're a homosexual stalker who wants to indulge his foot fetish on my toenails.

Either way, you apparently cant ignore me. Slipping your lisping little impersonations into old threads is an especially weak touch.

Fuck off, you America-last coward.

17 I'm also an insufferable bastard whose constant use of multi-syllabic words when simple ones will do is testament to my own pretentiousness. Please, tell me to fuck off.

18 His mother made him do it.

Posted by: Greyrooster at December 28, 2006 09:23 PM (mz2uK)

19 And the fake Jeff slips another lame comment into an old thread, this time in between a pile of lame spam.

Using a real man's identity doesn't make you a man. The closest you've come to a man was the last time you got a reach-around.
