Richard Gere Kisses Shilpa Shetty--Riots Ensue

Shilpa Shetty (pics) received a few friendly hugs and kisses from Richard Gere (no pics) at a recent AIDS awareness event. This, of course, caused massive riots in India, and one fellow even plans to press charges:

New Delhi, April 17 (IANS) After protests in several cities over Richard Gere's on-stage kissing and hugging of Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty, an NGO activist here Tuesday filed a police complaint against the celebrity duo.
Subodh Jain, head of a small NGO called Citizen Fundamental had filed the complaint early Tuesday in the Man Sarovar police station in northeast Delhi, for 'spreading obscenity' at a public place.
'I have filed a police complaint against Gere for spreading obscenity at a public place and against Shetty for supporting him,' Jain, a journalist-turned activist, told IANS.
During the AIDS awareness event on Sunday evening at the Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, Gere hugged Shetty, bent over her and planted several kisses on her cheeks.
The kissing episode has raised the hackles of several conservative groups, with protestors coming out on the streets and burning effigies of the actors. Protests were staged in Kanpur, Varanasi (both in Uttar Pradesh), Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Jaipur (Rajasthan), Mumbai and Delhi.

1 I don't understand. What's the problem? Are these complainers muslims? And Richard Gere should keep his hands to himself. Friggin libturd.

2 I get it now. It's a Hindu thing about public displays. Perhaps Gere should think before getting handsy with people from other countries. If they are against public displays it should be acknowledged. Wonder what their movies are like? Boring? Or can you get it on in the movies. Then again, isn't aids running rampant in India? The lefturd was only trying to help. But a lefturd is a lefturd. You Hindu's need to cool it. She isn't screwing whitey. She only wishes she was.
