Muslim Teacher Axed

(Yorkshire, England) A 24-year-old female Muslim teacher at Headfield C of E Junior School, Aishah Azmi (pic), has been suspended from her position for refusing to take off her veil during lessons.

Students found it difficult to understand Miss Azmi without seeing her lips move. With the exception of the classroom while teaching, Miss Azmi was otherwise permitted to wear her veil throughout the school.

Even though the Muslim Council of Britain disagrees with her, Miss Azmi is to plead her case against the school system before an employment tribunal "in a fortnight."

Heh.

1 Never should have hired a muslim to teach kids. Had to be trouble sooner or later.

2 Perhaps she should wear a plaid miniskirt.

3 MUSLIM TEACHER AXED TO DEATH
TJR has been reduced to sensationalism tactics just like their counter-parts MSM and Fox in a frantic effort to entice intelligent life back to bolster there dwindling ranks. Not that TJR has not been warned that deleting and banning are detrimental to a blog's health. Just as the president is stubborn and insists on " staying the course " so the TJR has not heeded good advice and has descended the ladder and resorted to sensationalism in a pathetic attempt to lure intelligent life back.    RIP

4 "Students found it difficult to understand Miss Azmi without seeing her lips move."

Were the students deaf or were they so used to the accent of Cockney whores?

5 If it had been "Christian Teacher Axed" there would have been no doubt of the meaning.

Come to think of it, if it had occurred anywhere but the West, "Muslim Teacher Axed" would have left no doubt either.

And of course, even in England it's getting hard to be sure.

Good.  Multi-cultarism is a social disease (particularly when it comes to islam).

8 Interesting that the Muslim Council disagrees with her. Now if the non-Muslims in the employment tribunal grow a set maybe she'll have to get that rag off her face. But if she's pig butt ugly that might not be a good thing.

9 Gentelmen, she's not really a muslim woman.  It's actually a wraith looking for the ring of power.  That's why there's no outrage from the Muslim Council.

10 Greg, it's that they are mostly kids who aren't native speakers -- and they're in a class where they'll have to learn to speak English.  (England: Better than Dallas.)  For that, especially if the teacher has an accent, it's pretty necessary to have any helps possible to understand what she's saying!

11 Hairbrained to begin with. If you can't wear the garb ( or not ), don't take the job! She's got no business teaching.

12 True. Never should have happened. However, what do the academics in England say?

13 I hear that England was a country once, instead of just a province of the caliphate; is that true grandpa?

14 That was before we whupped them so bad they went the way of Japan with aversions to nuclear weapons, and Germany with their " make it up to the world somehow " mentalities. At times I think Britain is beginning to grow some balls back, but I think we must have whupped them so bad it's going to take a long time.
