Moderate Muslims are powerless against the forces of Islamic fundamentalists who propagate anti-Semitism, a cleric of Manhattan's largest mosque said yesterday. This is predictable enough:"Extremists have taken initiative and have stepped to the center of the arena," Imam Omar Abu-Namous said. "The Muslim nation is not able to stop them."
The imam and the president of the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding, Rabbi Marc Schneier, participated in an interfaith dialogue in honor of the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday, which will be celebrated today.
Also in attendance was the hiphop mogul Russell Simmons, the chairman of the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding. Mr. Simmons, who is not Muslim, said the Reverend Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam is a "great inspiration to me."h/t: Steven Emerson

At least they are admitting that these extremists are muslim after all, and that the "muslim nation" does have some responsibility in trying to stop them. That's a start. We can move forward from here. Welcome to the war, I hope.

First - Deny there is a problem.
Second - Proclaim innocence.
Third - Blame the problem that doesn't exist on fringe extremists who don't belong to your group anyway.
Fourth - Sheepishly claim to be victims of the people who don't belong to your group and who are not causing the problems that don't exist.
Fifth - Ask for help from the people you are trying to kill.
Sixth - Laugh at their perpetual stupidity when they buy every lie you tell.
The object of this lessons is that Americans are stupid and can easily be played for the gullible suckers we are. It wouldn't be so bad if so many of us didn't constantly fall all over ourselves to prove them right.
