Steve Emerson rules.
Not only was he one of the first Americans to recognize the true threat posed by radical Islam, and not only was he among the first to publicly bitch-slap radical Islamists into submission, but to this day he continues to totally own the current crop of apologists, propagandists and spin-doctors who are working to distort and sanitize the west's understanding of Islam.
And today has been a real Steve Emerson kind of a day!
First came the announcement that The Islamic Society of Boston had withdrawn it's defamation suit against Emerson during the discovery process. While this may seem like it is only a victory for Emerson and his Investigative Project, in fact it is a great deal more.
With groups like the ISB and CAIR working overtime to intimidate any who would speak against radical Islam, and those who report suspicious behavior exhibited by Muslims, each victory of this nature slows the inexorable creep of political correctness, and mutes the fear of litigious intimidation by these well-financed groups.
But if that weren't enough, Mr. Emerson has gone a bit farther today.
In his latest post at The Counterterrorism Blog, Steven Emerson flays and de-bones one Edina Lekovic, Communications Director and spokesperson for the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) with surgical precision.
Emerson and Lekovic recently appeared on CNBC’s Kudlow & Co., where Ms. Lekovic took issue with Emerson's questions pertaining to her former position as “managing editor†of al-Talib, a newspaper published by the Muslim Students’ Association at UCLA. Lekovic accused Emerson of “sloppy research†and flatly denied ever having worked for the publication.
But it seems that's a fib.
Below is a video clip of Emerson and Lekovic on Kudlow and Co.:

For someone who wants to distance themselves from al Talib, she sure was busy defending them: http://www.dailybruin.ucla.edu/archives/id/17501/
