Osama is probably in Iran (according to the CIA Goss). The Wahhabis are receiving money and some say manufactured car bombs and parts from the Revolutionary Guards of Iran.
Most likely, this is a staged kidnapping so that it will make it appear that the Wahhabis are at odds with the Iranian regime. They are not. Iran's primary focus is to destablize Iraq. Its secondary focus is to take over the government.
This is designed to drive the Shias more into the arms of Iran, and to make it look like the regime in Tehran is hostile to Al-Qaeda.
