26 so some don't think that the people VOLUNTEERING their time to set up the Operation America Rising rallies give a shit about our troops in more tangible ways than to wave banners?  well, i would challenge you to look into it on the website and perhaps on the Operation America Rising Arizona site, for example, which is one that i volunteer to lead.  everything that we do is attempt to get others to donate their time and talent for this project so that any  money raised through private donations/sponsorship will end up going back into DoD approved organizations, such as "laptops for the wounded", "woundedwarriorproject", etc. 
 
MOST of those who have volunteered to lead each state already donate quite a bit to these causes, as well as sending care packages to soldiers, participating in "email our military", "operationiraqwarheroes.org", etc. 
 
so i don't want to hear for a moment that we on support our troops in an "empty sentimental" way.  that is your opinion, but our troops know better.  we speak to them directly!  i know that i do.
