1 Hey Rusty, I was going to donate to the Jawa this month but would like to ask for a pass so I can donate here. I will get you next quarter though.

2 Great. Make the new guy unpopular..lol
Rusty will hold this against me forever... or until next quarter's donation, whichever comes first.

FYI - I know nothing about this group other than what is on their website. I recommend doing a bit of research before sending anyone donations.

3 Flags, buttons, more flags... sounds like a blast. Nothing I'd like to do more than watch you braindead zombies marching around yelling  "USA! USA! USA!" and "SUPORT THE TROOPS!" It sounds like a Nuremberg rally.

But you know... nothing says "Support the Troops" like this sort of bullshit. How's about a nice clean hospital for the wounded instead? How's about not invading countries that don't attack you? How's about being honest?

That'd be nice.

4 Dear John,

So tell me, John, what is it with this anal fixation you leftists have with Nazis? Is it a guilty concience, perhaps, because you all are responsible for millions of deaths in SEA after you cut off funds for South Vietnam? Is it because Democrats are responsible for getting the United States into all of it's greatest wars? You know that Democrat Presidents have more American blood on their hands than anyone else? No sh!t John.

Buchannon got us into the Civil War, Wilson got us into WWI, FDR got us into WWII, Truman got us into Korea, and your wet-dream president, JFK got us into Vietnam, and your very-first bubba, LBJ, ramped that all out of proportion.

Does it gall you that it took Nixon to get us out of Vietnam? Does it bother you to know that Carter and Clinton both set the stage for our actions in Afchanistan and Iraq? That your peanut-boy Jimmah is responsible for allowing the Ayatollah to return to Iran and thus ensuring the deaths of 2-3 million supporters of the shah?

Maybe you leftists like to use Hitler and Nazi and Fascist analogies so much, because it's what you all are most familiar with. I mean, you learned everything you know about politics from them and Marx and Lenin.

It's a sad fact that it's the good people, the conservatives and Republicans who constantly have to go in and make the sacrifices to clean up the messes you leftists make. To you, it's always someone else's problem... but the real problem, John, the real vacuous, soul-scarring, heart-numbing political incompetance, comes in each and every sense from the left.

So go on, toss out the Hitlerisms, the Nai-corrolations. Go ahead. The rest of us know who is really wearing the jackboots in America.

     Respects,

5 Just to be perfectly clear #3 John is not me.

I think a support the troops rally on the 7th is a fabulous idea, all of the dirty hippie truthers will still be wasted from X-day.

(praise Bob!)

6 I'm calling a spade a spade. Your nationalism is out of control. Anytime you are running around saluting a flag, and demanding unquestioning support for a president and a war, you run the risk of falling into the trap of fascism. This is what is happening in the US right now, and you losers are leading the charge.

I've watched your nation become one of the bad guys, and it isn't because of the Leftists, or the Democrats, though they've said and done their fair share of stupid things.

You can sit there typing that you know "who is really wearing the jackboots in America", but this is complete and utter bullshit. I don't see  the left calling people traitors, or letting the president get away with lies, or at best incompetence that leads to war. It's you guys, and now you're planning your little event to "support the troops", and that is nothing but empty sentiments.

You guys couldn't give a flying fuck about the troops. You're willing to let them smash their heads against bad policies, and then rot in substandard hospitals without saying a word. You couldn't give a rats ass that hundreds of thousands of these guys are coming home with PTS, and you certainly don't care that you have advocated policies that have killed tens of thousands of Iraqis.

The world is slowly coming around to hate America, and this is not a good position to be in. You are creating enemies where you once had friends. Basically... this will be your undoing. My bet is that unless America gets it's dogs on a leash - those dogs being you - then it will fall, and Islamic radicals won't have to do a thing. You'll have done it for them.

I assume that by nationalism you mean the only nation I support, that being the independent nation of Texas?

Oh and I have never voted for anyone named Bush, they are too stinking liberal for my tastes.

8 "How's about being honest?"  Sure John. You can start anytime now!               USA, all the way!

9 "I don't see  the left calling people traitors, or letting the president get away with lies"  Gee John, I suppose that goes with the hairy palms doesn't it ...?                    USA, all the way!

Posted by: Michael Weaver at March 22, 2007 05:56 PM (2OHpj)

10 "The world is slowly coming around to hate America"  The world is full of evil dictators, death cultists, and marxists.  I feel so bad they hate us! Gosh ....                    USA, all the way!

Posted by: Michael Weaver at March 22, 2007 05:58 PM (2OHpj)

11 "I'm calling a spade a spade"       You racist!     USA, all the way!

Posted by: Michael Weaver at March 22, 2007 05:59 PM (2OHpj)

12 "You are creating enemies where you once had friends"   Many of our European friends have let the Islamic Imperialists, and Marxists devour thier guts from the inside out.  But we still have some friends who have a sense of national pride, like Australia, Japan, the UK, that haven't submitted to  Lenin, nor Allah.  We are not as alone as you would like to convince us we are, and frankly, I don't care how many of the badguys and thier slaves hate us anyway! It's not my job, nor America's job, to make wicked men happy, and safe!  To bad, ain't it?!           USA, all the way!

Posted by: Michael Weaver at March 22, 2007 06:04 PM (2OHpj)

13 John bad! John Galt, not bad!                  UAS, all the way!

14 Nationalism exists beyond, outside and above, things like fascism. Nationalism is a love of what makes your country special, and great. Fascism is a system of control, and and owes a lot to Communism, even though you'd never get a Communist to admit it. Without kings, and emporers, the elite can only be elitists, by inventing a system that makes them 'more equal than others' under the law. Thats why Americans resist Communism, and Fascism. because we Americans enjoy our equality. Our Founding Fathers were all Nationalists! Every name on the Declaration of Independence is the name of a Nationalist. And yet, how many would JOHN dare to call fascists?!
                      USA, all the way!

Posted by: Michael Weaver at March 22, 2007 06:13 PM (2OHpj)

15 Dude. Finishing your statements with "USA, all the way" kind of proves my point. That's not rational. It's called being jingoistic, and it demonstrates that you have a nigh-religious belief in your nation. That is the very definition of fascism.

Now as for the rest of the world being marxist or whatever... pull your heads from your collective ass, and wake the fuck up. You guys - specifically you guys here are part of the problem. The sooner you go back to polishing your rifles, and leaving things like governing and diplomacy to the adults, the better.

Literally everything conservatives have touched has turned to shit. This war is a failure, you nation is less free, you've radicalized millions of Muslims around the world, thus creating more enemies, you've run up a massive debt, violence in the US is on the rise, you've left a city to die, and your reputation is in the shitter.

Can you not see this?

Posted by: John at March 22, 2007 06:21 PM (qiTAx)

16 John,

I am an adult. One of those who view governing as a serious matter, unlike you and the Democrats who view it as a way to lord it over those you can't stand, those who repudiate you, those who refuse to kowtow to your marxist-leninist crap.

You wanna call bullshit? Just look in the mirror, John. All you stand for is defeatist crap. You and the Democrats and Leftists want a nanny state so as to assuage your collectivist guilt at being responsible for more human misery and suffering than from any other cause in human history.

Do other nations hate us? Fuck 'em. They spew their anti-American bile with every fetid breath of their 3rd world loser attitudes, yet they are the first to start screaming for American dollars to help them out.

Witness the Islamotards of Palestine. Generations of Losers who don't even have a national homeland because, well, THEY HAVE NEVER had a national homeland. they are a MADE UP peoples, a group created out of whole cloth by the PLO.

And what do the Palestinians create? Death and Suffering. It is all they know because they are a small, backward people who spew hatred and only survive because of the charity of others. They scream for the Death of every Jew, for the right to occupy land that was NEVER theirs to begin with./ They live in squalor because it is easier to sit on the asses and collect welfare from the Euroshits, and because, when they DO get money, they use it to buy guns and bombs to.... wait for it.... KILL JEWS.

So the world cuts off their funds until they grow the fuck up and then what do they do? Scream and threaten. Screw them all.

John, you are a perfect example of the need for retroactive abortion. Perhaps we could take up a collection here to hire a Proctologist to see if he can locate your head.

Americans are a great and noble people. We don't throw the first punch, but by G*d we'll throw the last ones. We value fair play. We value virtue and honesty. We are happy to help the less fortunate, but we'll be damned if we'll keep tossing good monmey to losers like leftists, socialists, and nations that speak ill of us.

America has done nothing wrong. If you can't see that for a fact, then you need to realise that it is YOU that are a part of the problem. Grow up, boy.

So, I presume John is not in the United States.  Good. His opinion doesn't matter anyway.

"Dude. Finishing your statements with "USA, all the way" kind of proves my point. That's not rational"     I'll tell you whats not rational! Diminishing our national sovereignty, and lowering our ethical standards to appease evil elitists and death cultists.

What I mean by 'USA, all the way!' is that I appreciate what our Founding Fathers did for us, risked for us, and I am fully dedicated to preserving that gift. If necessary, I'd go up against the government if it ever became false, or dominated by those who would tear it down.

The USA, isn't a government. It IS an IDEAL! AN ideal worth fighting for, and if necessary, dying for!  It is a beacon of hope for all humanity. AN answer to those who say that the people can't be trusted to govern themselves! An answer to those who let the Mullahs make the law! An answer to those who nationalize, and steal the labors of others to celebrate thier own cults of personality!

AN ANSWER!

We The People who take responsability, are the ones you should be looking up to, not 'we the wimps who want a handout, and a free ride'!

If you think our 'nationalism' IS dangerous then you must be an enemy of the freedom our nationalism represents. Sometimes the truth happens to be jingoistic! Jingoism isn't exclusive to anyone. the guys who hate the USA use it a lot too. Tell me that 'no blood for oil' isn't jingoistic?! Or how about 'Bush lied, people died' ?

What the USA means to me ....
My country, 'tis of Thee,
Sweet Land of Liberty
Of thee I sing;
Land where my fathers died,
Land of the pilgrims' pride,
From every mountain side
Let Freedom ring.

What it means to John is apparently something different if he wants to feel no pride in our homeland.

Well I do feel pride in my country, and I will always put her, and the ideals she was founded upon, before all the nations of the world. You don't have to like it. The fact that some don't speaks volumes about thier own values.

USA, all the way! Against all threats, foriegn and domestic!

19 Gwedd, you're a stand up individual!     USA, all the way!

20 Should be better then watching those jerks in SAN FRANCISCO

21 John, you really are ignorance, apathy, stupidity, and spinelessness personified. If "we" and "our" country disgust you so much, go to some leftist website to vomit out your bullshit, christ! Just because every country on the planet, except a few, choose to point the finger at the U.S.A. for all their often self-inflicted problems, doesn't mean we are the badguys, and it certainly doesn't mean we have to give a fuck. For example, soon after Katrina struck N.O. and the Islamists world-wide praised it as an act and the will of Allah, a huge 9.0 earthquake struck Pakistan and killed close to 25,000 people (the irony is delicious in my opinion). A day after the quake, the Pakistanis take to the streets rioting, protesting, and burning American and Israeli flags. What the HELL does an earthquake in Pakistan have to do with us? Can you, in your haze of hippie, anti-American dimentia, make that connection? Should I give a shit and feel bad that we are making enemies in Pakistan because they somehow blame us for an earthquake? Fuck them and fuck you too.

22 John is not smart enought to be American. I believe his raghead boyfriend hasn't been treating him right.

Posted by: greyrooster at March 23, 2007 09:38 PM (jNRRK)

23 When they asked Gen. Eisenhower his opinion of his American troops before the Normandy landings, he said that " they were like a bunch of bananas....... some were green, some were yellow, and some were just plain rotten." Like all armies.

Posted by: yurp at March 24, 2007 08:04 PM (IKac4)

24 But unlike most armies, they happily turned the land they had won, back to it's origional owners, and restored freedom as best they could. The Allies in the west together turned back the Nazi's, and returned to the native peoples what they had bled and died to liberate. With due respects to our allies in past wars, I do believe no army in history has freed more people than that of the USA. We are not a perfect nation, but we are pretty darn good! Hopefully, readers from among our allies won't take it as an insult that I feel that way. These days you never know ...              USA, all the way!

Posted by: Michael Weaver at March 25, 2007 04:43 AM (2OHpj)

25 No. Not offended. But. Roosevelt said it , and meant it, that he would see to it that neither Britain nor France would have any gain from the war, and that they would no longer have any influence. Which means.... you're now on your own as mistrust of your motives prevents concerted action. It's empire-lite,you've got the job, you've got the ball.......run with it.

Posted by: yurp at March 25, 2007 06:10 PM (IKac4)

26 so some don't think that the people VOLUNTEERING their time to set up the Operation America Rising rallies give a shit about our troops in more tangible ways than to wave banners?  well, i would challenge you to look into it on the website and perhaps on the Operation America Rising Arizona site, for example, which is one that i volunteer to lead.  everything that we do is attempt to get others to donate their time and talent for this project so that any  money raised through private donations/sponsorship will end up going back into DoD approved organizations, such as "laptops for the wounded", "woundedwarriorproject", etc.

MOST of those who have volunteered to lead each state already donate quite a bit to these causes, as well as sending care packages to soldiers, participating in "email our military", "operationiraqwarheroes.org", etc.

so i don't want to hear for a moment that we on support our troops in an "empty sentimental" way.  that is your opinion, but our troops know better.  we speak to them directly!  i know that i do.
