Hezbollah Websites Down, TV Still Up

Al Manar, Hezbollah's TV station, was one of Israel's first targets. While the station was hit, it seemed to be on the air as of this morning. Either the attack was not as succesful as hoped, or al Manar was transmitting from a backup location.

You can watch Hezbullah's terrorist TV station, al Manar here. Right now, they are showing a live shot of Beirut and playing a song which, curiously, has a chorus of "Allahu Akhbar" sung over and over.

But I'm sure religion has nothing to do with Hizbullah's--which means The Party of God-- beef with Israel.

Hizbuallah main website, Moqawama, is down. Al Manar's main page is also down.

Hopefully, Israel has fully integrated cyber-attacks into its battle plan. From the looks of it, they have.

1 I generally refer to the group as Hizb'Allah (i.e., "The Party of Allah") in order to remind Muslims and non-Muslims what the group is all about.

I can't speak to why the MSM consistently refers to them as "Hezbollah".

2 I prefer Hizbutthole'a or Hizballza myself.

Hellzbellza isn't bad either.

3 Hizb'Allah, Hezbollah, Beelzebub- whatever.

4 For these filthy subhuman slave-trading pedophilic waste-of-oxygen waste-of-food terrorist brutes we Iranian Patriots have a name that subsumes all of them; I mean the whole bloody lot from Al-qaeda to Ahmadinezhad to Al-Zarqawi Hizbullah etc. etc.
The word is TAAZI (all three vowels are long vowels).
This word also includes their political supporters and their pinko-commie apologists. I have a special disdain for this last category.

5 Rusty maybe we should pass along out hackers info to them? It would be nice if while they are at it they could do us a wee favor.

6 Capital idea Howie!
Wouldn't your own American counter-terrorism outfits also be interested in information on these cyber-attackers?
I mean looking at the big picture, Turkey is a NATO member (God help us all) and at least some Turks have a vested interest in weeding out the Islamist terrorists in their country.
So, if your authorities are informed, hopefully they would in turn inform their counter-parts in Turkey.
Does this make sense?

7 Could the counter-parts in Turkey be trusted?

8 isreal violated lebanons air space 104 000 times in the last 2 years and holds 11000 arab and lebanese prisoners. hezbollah a military wing atacks the idf kills 3 captures 2 then isreal enteres lebanon and has 2 tanks destroyed killing 5. isreal then withdraws on day 1 after 3 hours and sends the planes in (like cowards who throw rocks off over passes on vehicles)killing 70 civilians and destroying the country. isreal will never let a deomcracy exist in the middle east at any chance it will destory it to show it self as the only democracy well now we know what isreal has done to both democracys in the middle east. and as a kid i always wondered why does every one talk with hate against jews and it is till you get older you start to understand . may god help them and forgive them for everything they have done from jesus to todays massacres.
