But a radical Palestinian leader in Damascus, the Syrian capital, called Sharon's health crisis a gift from God. We say it frankly that God is great and is able to exact revenge on this butcher. ... We thank God for this gift he presented to us on this new year," Ahmed Jibril, leader of the Syrian-backed faction Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command, a small radical group, told the Associated Press.
Dear Mr. Ahmed Jibril,
One elderly man has an all too common elderly man stroke.
Tens of thousands of your fellow Muslims have tragically perished recently in earthquakes and tsumanis.
Just who is God taking revenge on here?
I'm sorry if that seems harsh, I realize you only speak for a "small band of radicals" but really, I fear you've lost sight of the bigger picture.
I would never be so arrogant as to think that I know the mind of God, but based on the evidence He provides, I would be willing to hazard a guess that He may not be too happy with your particular brand of monotheism at this point in history.
Sincerely,
Vinnie
p.s. watch out for that IDF Hellfire Miss.......damn, too late.

Those people in West Virginia were thanking God that He let everyone live, right up until they found out that He didn't. Then they forgot all about God and started yelling at a corporation.
Christians and Muslims have this in common: When fortune smiles on them, they say it is the work of God. When things go badly, they say it is the work of bad men.

Oh right, sorry. The God reference would never fly there. Nevermind.

Yup, I'd say that was pretty mean.

If not, I would think the Palestinian thugs would rather have Sharon in power. It was under Sharon's watch that Israel left Palestinian settlements. The last I kept up with these things, Netanyahu was still a powerful person in Israel and could easily regain control. I seem to remember that his position was more toward pushing everyone of them into the sea. Be careful what you ask for.
Of course, that was many hours of sleep and several beers ago, so I could be wrong.

Uh, murder. Most claim that the Jews somehow poisoned Arafat. Some of them even claimed that harmful rays from Jewish women's hair killed him. I'm not kidding, that is how backward these people are, and everyone wants to give them a country. Unbelievable!

Proving once again that these assorted paleos, arabs, and muslims have zero class.
Yes, everyone wanted Arafat dead when he caught the AIDS, for instance, but did any of our leaders go around holding press conferences to say it? Class vs no class.

society.
Not a chance as soon as Sharon dies their going to start lobbing mortars from the Westbank.
This is going to end bad for the Palestinians.
Watched PBS last night One God three religion thingy. I started to try to understand them a little more. Then of course they pull this crap today.
Frankly the Isrealis are going to run out of patience and Palestine will just be one big smear that will wash away in the next rain.

Palestinians are just as thankful about Sharon's condition as the Israelis were about Arafat's condition.
Perhaps it's just human nature to hate your enemy so much that you rejoice when tragedy strikes.

yes, but we expect our leaders to show a little class. The president of Iran is practically dancing a jig he's so happy. No class.

If GOD gives Israel to Benji, YOU will be pushed into the ocean. End of that "State" you have been seeking.
Straighten up now and become civilized, Palestine. Leave Israel alone.
