My wanting, hoping, and praying have nothing to do with whether or not this incident actually did take place. But when faced with uncertainty, I choose to err on the side which gives the benefit of the doubt to the goodness of the United States and its soldiers.
That rape and murder happen in war is a certainty based on statistical probabilities. Gang rapes and mass murders are much lower on the probability scale. So I will hold out hope that there is more to this story than is being reported. That hope may prove to be hollow. May justice fall swiftly if I am wrong.

If the story is first developed by the MSM with/based on Iraqi accusations - then doubt it.
If the story is first developed within the military - then suspect there is a high degree of legitimacy and fact involved. Expect the MSM to jump on it and run with it - its what they do - ignore them - they are irrelevant.
This is why we have a CID - this is why we have specific training in proper behavior, this is why I received specialized training over the years in preventing/recognizing behavior problems.
The military is professional - actions like this are un-professional - what is un-professional undermines the performance and success of the military,compromises morale and jepardizes the mission objectives.

I've seen all kinds of shit even in peacetime - it happens.
UCMJ is swift and harsh. If convicted there will be death sentences handed down. Couple of hard life too - Leavenworth is hell compared to civilian prison systems.

Look at the site: It is decorated with Star Wars artwork and uses a fictional name as a racial slur. I mean, we are down here at 8th grade level chief.
Their IQ combined wouldn't light up a key chain light.
