Mumbai: At Least 135 Believed Dead

The jihadis are getting better at train bombing, if today's terrorist attack in Mumbai is any indication:

MUMBAI (Reuters) - At least 135 people were killed and hundreds injured in seven bomb explosions on packed commuter trains and stations during rush hour on Tuesday in Mumbai, officials said.

City police chief A.N. Roy told Reuters 135 people were killed while Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh said 300 people were injured.

"It is a bomb blast. We are not sure if it is RDX or not," Roy said, referring to the possible use of high-powered plastic explosives.

Commuters fled suburban rail stations in panic after the explosions and mobile phone lines were jammed. Television pictures showed twisted rail carriages and people in bloodstained clothes carrying dead and wounded on stretchers.

"The blasts happened when the trains were most crowded," D.K Shankaran, chief secretary of Maharashtra told Reuters.

In the meantime, China and Russia stand against any reasonable controls over Iran and North Korea. How many more 9-11s and Madrids and Londons and Beslans is it going to take? When are the non-jihadis of the world going to realize that we're all in this together? When are the people gonna wake the hell up?

1 India has suffered pain and murder from muslim dogs for many, many years. The destruction of Islam as it is is the only solution. India even dividing it's nation into three to rid the muslims from their country. Big mistake was letting the first on remain. I do believe Indian people will strike back at the muslims in a neighborhood manner. You will now see riots in the streets and attacks on innocent muslims. If there is such a thing. Islam breeds killer and terrorists.
India should ban Islam the same as they banned the thuggee religion. Notice there is no more stranglings by thuggees. Why because the religion was banned. OUTLAW ISLAM.
EVERYWHERE THERE ARE MUSLIMS THERE IS DEATH AND SUFFERING.

2 Ask yourself why the WaPo would give Ismail Haniyeh an op ed when Hamas is already considered a terrorist organization. Why would the lead paper in our nations capitol give this piece of garbage print space and front page exposure? Because deep down inside they want to see something bad happen before Bush leaves office. They then are compicit in aiding and abetting terror by means of allowing access to the public, the putrid bile these liars and decievers spew at any opportunity.

It is no longer a matter of a bunch of Woodward and Bernstien wannabe's exposing sesitive info about our efforts to combat terror and terrorism. These peaople are actively engaged in an effort to support the enemy. The friend of my enemy is my enemy. I wish someone with the ability to post on this board would compile a list of companies who buy advertising at the WaPo. I want to know who not to support. If someone does, please include e-mail addresses so we can express our displeasure.

3 India out of Iraq, and Afghanistan NOW!
India is creating terrorists, faster than they're killing them!
It doesn't quite fit into the theory of root causes of terrorism, now, does it?

6 One minute everyone loves Russia & Putin, the next minute everyone condemns them...

7 Something to do with 135 dead? You liberal mind is wandering. Are you saying Russia & Putin bombed Bombay?
Friggin leftard.

8 No, dummy. I was referring to the last paragraph. Maybe you should read the whole article before posting next time?

Maybe the original poster is a leftard, too, because that last paragraph didn't specifically refer to Bombay?

9 You know Venom, the other day I was buying my "I [heart] Russia T-shirt, and "Communism, tain't so bad afterall" coffee mug, and was wondering the same thing.

I wonder if the cooling off has to do with the fact that Russia aligns itself with China, to prevent our foreign policy, or sells night-vision goggles, and GPS jammers to Iraq in violation of U.N treaty, arming them for War, whilst voting against it-- or I wonder if it's because we see Putin as a moderate, with a milder form of Communism, which is still our enemy after half a century.

Just because talks have somewhat normalized between the U.S and Russia doesn't mean we're going to be holding bakesales with them anytime soon.

10 Nah, I wasn't suggesting a big love-in with them or anything. I've just noticed here that the opinion on Russia seems to change with the wind.

11 And while people are dying at the hands of terrorists in India, our president announces that he will give Geneva convention status to the sub-humans at GITMO.
That's just ducky. They cut the heads off our soldiers, torturing them beyond recognition, they bomb Madrid, Bali, India and we are going to treat subhumans humanly.
WFT? Are we trying to do everything we can to lose the damn war against these Islamic freaks?
Why don't we just adopt Islamic law and be done with it?

12 Indeed, you're right in the fact that it's protrayed as a sweeping love affair one minute, and then a struggle to the death.

I think just like Saudi Arabia, while they're our "ally" in the war against terror [because Russia faces the same] but its still a marriage of convenience, built on a single front. Without the WOT, the same old differences reappear, if we were to make a cartoon of the relationship it would be like that spy-vs-spy cartoon with the two spies shaking hands, while holding knives to each others backs.

Posted by: davec at July 11, 2006 02:04 PM (voZp6)

13 Haha, that's one of the better analogies I've heard with respect to ties with Russia.

Posted by: Venom at July 11, 2006 02:08 PM (pYHpB)

14 Vemon. You dumbass traitor. He was using China and Russia as illustrations of the world's attitude. Not singling out any one country. But you America hating turds always only listen to your adgenda. Yea! I remember you.

15 And while people are dying at the hands of terrorists in India, our president announces that he will give Geneva convention status to the sub-humans at GITMO.

Bush is a brainless, gutless, nutless moron, and all we can do is hope for a nuke in Washington while the whole government is there.

16 Grey: I don't hate America. Not sure why you always say that. In fact, if you've read anything I've written here lately, you'd see that. I brought up Russia because he did. In fact, if you read HIS last paragraph, you'd notice he doesn't specifically refer to the Bombay attack either (much like I didn't), and brings Russia up as a follow-up point. I was referring to that. Didn't think I needed to make that entirely obvious for everyone, but I forget that some people here need to have it spelled out for them. Not really sure why you're trying to pick a fight with me this time around.

Posted by: Venom at July 12, 2006 08:33 AM (gyr2M)

17 Not sure either. Just that I never let the same dog bite me twice.
I will admit your posts are better than your old ones two years ago. Not nearly as America hating, commie loving, president bashing, liberal bullshit as in the past.
Wonder if I can take some credit for helping turn you into what sounds like a human being.

18 Hehe, no, sorry. But like I said in one my last posts in our constant arguments was something to the effect of life being too short to waste bickering over the Internet. I've always been anti-terrorist, anti-fascist (and anti-communist), pro-truth, and always looking to see the bigger picture. Never hated America, but, like anyone, agrees and disagrees with how various issues are carried out. And, yeah, I'm always looking to learn more about something if things don't make sense. Maybe I'm just bringing it up better, is all .
