Targeting kids like that is just too disgusting to even contemplate. I think we're headed for the days when people will be carrying guns in holsters a la the wild west. Actually, I've seen dave post here many times (if it's the same one) and his views are the same as the majority of us here. I question whether or not you're just trolling by attacking him because his response was spot on. I work with a lot of liberals and I don't want to see any of them dead just because I don't care for their politics.

I'm going to make one last comment and then I'm on to other posts because as bad as the content of the original post is that sparked all of this discussion, the topic is just more of the same. That doesn't mean it should be ignored because I agree that we are fighting evil. I also am not naive enough to think that we don't have citizens here in our own country who are working against us. By this, I'm referring to the ACLU and the many other organizations that are partly funded by communist countries. These people do need to be dealt with but the last thing I would ever do is to wish a 'mainstream' liberal - the guy who thinks Bush=Hitler but isn't generally a danger to anyone but his own political party that he keeps pushing further to the left and out of the realm of sanity - to be killed by being 'caught in the crossfire'. I also think it's important to have a two party system because, otherwise, it leads to too much power and corruption. Both sides need the other to keep them 'honest' no matter how disgusted I may be by the antics of Hillary, Schumer, Reid, Pelosi, etc.
But none of this has anything to do with my post on this thread. My post was strictly about defending someone who is most definitely not the liberal he was portrayed to be. Nor was there any reason to call him an idiot and ask if he was a man. dave has a history on this site and his views are in line with the majority here. Spending any amount of time here would tell anyone that few advocate the death of an American citizen and Rusty has reminded us many times to pray/hope/whatever for the safe return of the captured liberals in Iraq. If dave hasn't received an apology, he should have been.

Of course, we've seen this sort of bravery from the fruits of Islam before. Anyone remember Beslan? For that matter, the day after Bob Woodruff was injured by a car bomb, one of the talking heads on "Good Morning, America" mentioned that the big bwave jihadis had car bombed a candy store that morning. It was just a flip comment in passing, a chance to hammer the point that BushCo had made such a mess of the occupation or some such. No indignation or anger at the terrorists who so bravely attacked a place likely to be full of kids instead of folks who could, you know, shoot back...

The problem with people who share the opinion that genocide is the solution for Muslim extremism is that they're a fringe, within a fringe (the first being those who see Islam as a threat to the West --the category I belong to) so the scenario of a crusade on U.S soil is as likely as the Democratic coup.
