Mu-slimes Who Beheaded Christian Girls, Get To Live, Short Sentence

Via AsiaNews:

Jakarta (AsiaNews) – Central Jakarta District Court Wednesday sentenced a Muslim militant to 20 years in prison for masterminding the gruesome murder of three Christian schoolgirls in the Central Sulawesi's town of Poso in 2005. The two men who killed the three girls and beheaded them were sentenced instead to 14 years in prison. Given the fact that all three Islamists could have received the death sentence the court’s decision is very lenient. The Indonesian press noted that the sentences corresponded to the demands of the prosecution.

Hasanuddin, who is linked to the terrorist network Jemaah Islamiyah, was found guilty of organising the crime, buying the machetes used in the beheading, and writing the notes left near the bodies threatening additional murders.

According to the prosecutor Payaman SH, Hasanuddin had asked his men to get “at least a hundred Christian heads in Poso.”

This fits the pattern of justice in Indonesia. Confess to a horrific murder of innocent schoolgirls, Get a light sentence. In fact, I’ve little doubt that the sentences will be reduced at a later date. If you are a Christian accused of being involved in a riot on shaky evidence, you get beaten and shot post haste.

Since Big White Infidel has been offline for a while, I’ll post this for him. I know he’d be very upset at the outcome of this.

Here is a youtube video BWI made to raise awareness of the treatment of Christians by some in Indonesia. I encourage you to click the video and add your comments.

More here at Prairie Pundit who adds this thought, "Compare these sentences to that given Aussie visitors, caught with pot, who got life sentences."

Indeed.

1 Lovely. And I am sure they will be quite instrumental in recruiting new members during their tenure in prison, before resuming operations upon their release.

Do they also get time off for 'good behavior'?

2 This is a mass movement forming rapidly.  Haves and have nots are going to be led by a "spiritual and intellectual" group to bring horror everywhere they can through the terrorizing of all others.  When that ugly bitch of meanness and total self-hatred, Rosie O directs her vicious venom against our government day after day (Americans are the real torturers, the real terrorists...yea right!), don't you think we are in trouble?  This will be a war fought outside and inside our borders.  Religion of peace, my ass!  Clowns who are beyond ignorant, so stupid and so very hateful!  Yet dangerous, very very dangerous.  Time to get really serious, more serious than worrying about one's carbon foot print!  Let loose our military to do their freedom saving work, sooner-rather than later!

3 RJ,  I agree. But we have to make our government agree. This battle front at home matters. It may be the single most important front of the war, and it is up to people like you to sway your friends, and change the way our 'leadership' deals with threats to peace. We are still fighting with a 'peace dividend' military. We need to get enough political momentum to change that. Till then, our operations will continue to be far smaller than our potential as a nation would suggest.                          USA, all the way!

4 Michael Weaver,  I suspect here at home we will need another attack to spur most of America.  That is sad to say, yet I think if most were to ponder the dynamics of this country's awareness and those attitudes presented, the quickest way is for a "wake up call" like we've not seen.  I thought 9ll would do the trick, however, time in this country doesn't stand still for long, like move on dot org!
Just think how most Americans would respond, if, while visiting his/her doctor for a physical, he/she were told a very deadly form of cancer was present in the body.  Next question to the doctor:  How do you intend to stop it, to rid my body of this cancer?  Doc says:  This could kill you, as a matter of fact, if we don't attack this now, it most definitely will in fact kill you!  Patient then says:  How much time do I have if we don't treat this now?  I think we need this kind of reality check as a country.  Sooner, rather than later.  As an aside, I think another argument that has polarized this country is how to attack the "terrorist" problem, like a cancer...do we go radical in our therapy approach, or try one thing, see how that goes, if it doesn't to the trick, then try another till some point in time when it might just be too late, or the guess is that we've run out of solutions except the last one:  radical!

5 I saw this and It's disgusting.

Chop the heads off young girls and get 20years.
Subtract time served, and the fact that Muslime clerics and orgs will be pressuring the judge and legal system to release these scum bags,   because afterall,  the girls were just Christians and we can't have therse poor Muslime  men rotting in jail. Ishallah!

How can these fuckers live when the Indonesian Government kills foreign nationals for possing drugs???

Allah Akbar... Islam is the religion of shit heads!

I wish we had better than bought and paid for Repblicans and demoCraps to fight this kind of madness with.

6 RJ,  Yes, I think we agree a lot. The 'radical' cure will be there in the end, no matter what else we try. I never did find the 'moderate' (by my standards) Muslim. I did find one who is at least polite, and I'm getting a lot out of the experience. I would like to go into detail later, but I'm willing to say that so far, there is not enough middle ground, politically, and it's not our fault. It's Islam. Anyway, I guess I've officially decided that there are no 'moderates'. Just some of them aren't violent.                  USA, all the way!

7 Rubin , I'm certainly not going to recommend that we try to remember these guys, and watch to see if they ever get within arms reach. Then I sure wouldn't recomend 'disappearing' them into a deep lake, or new sidewalk. That could get a fellow in trouble. Nope, I sure wouldn't recommend ever trying to catch up with those guys someday. Not even a little.    USA, all the way!

8 Yeah those Indonesians are a real piece of work, I blogged on this as well, see <a href="http://www.smh.com.au/news/World/GUILTY-CORBY-JAILED-FOR-20-YEARS/2005/05/27/1117129870467.html">here </a>and <a href="http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/02/15/world/main1318432.shtml">here</a>, drug smugglers get punished more than murderers there.

I think in Indonesia, there is also something like a religious pardon or something, every year they just reduce the sentences of crims during Ramadan or something for good behavior. So the good money is on them serving less than 20 years.

It will take a constant, never-ending string of attacks on this country before people open their eyes and face reality. Political Correctness has run rampant, and people are now apathetic, sheepish, and unconcerned. They look they other way while this cancer is growing more malignant every day. I feel that this nonchalant way of thinking and ignoring all these problems is going to come back and haunt this country in a way that will make 9/11 look miniscule. There are some very dark, unpleasant days ahead of us.

11 We have been talking about this same shit for years. We know how muslims act and what they stand for. Why not just accept them for what they are. No need to rehash every putrid act they perform. We need to talk about what we can do about the muslim menance to civilization.

12 I am a catholyc (christian generally). I used to build my bussiness in Poso area. I tried hard to build a good communication between Muslim and Christian. I had a wood timber business there. Well..for just a view people it worked. I moved my warehouse to muslim area when the attack come to Christian area. and to Christian when it attack the Muslim.

There are a view Muslim familly who lived in Christian area and either. No problem for some people there. The most problem come from new comers there. And I could feel how it makes you turn crazy when to see your baby or familly being slash. Here some of the problem : (1).No good communication device to publish the facts for civiliant. Most of area are limited with no good source of electricity. Only turn on from arround 17 till 21. What a mess. (2).This area is so reach with their nature source.
While the XXX who have most power at my country won't lost it. (please...understand it). (3). My country is so far from real democracy. Still need blooded revolution from high government level to get the real power to handle my country.

Muslim and Christian here at Poso area basically one blood family. It is not from this aea. Not about Muslim or Christian here. But who came here to get suffer these people.

If only I could get On Line there a view years ago...
