1 Howie, if you are trying to say that you are a "hot chick" with your "about me" plug, well then, you and every other Richard Simmons wannabe.

2 Howie I am not sure how much the suppoort of "hot chicks" will help rallly the christian base for Fred. His Senate pro choice position is already going to make their support problematical.

3 Problematical ?

It is a measure of the sheer desperation of the Republicans that they would turn to Thompson, whose main attraction is that he's not Romney, he's not McCain, and he never married one of his cousins. If ever there was a party in decline, it's the GOP.

7 Watch Fred in "The hunt for Red October" he was pretty good.

8 Bo: Sorry, but the republicans are on an upswing. The democrat congress in many points lower than Presiden Bush. They are self destructing at this very moment. Democrats do not have plans. They institute nothing. Their purpose is to defame the visions of others. They never propose anything worthwhile. That's all. No substance. No heart. Just tears and a deep seating self loathing.

9 Funny, that's exactly what they said about Reagan, No chance despertion move.   I forget now who the other chloices were but they sucked. Oh, and he was too old.

I think the charisma and personality issued have been overlooked of late.  All bout qualifications, not that Bush was qualified much, but Cheney was there and he had the connections to qulaified people.

It's hard to lead when you have the personality of a wooden post.  The only two on this race that have that personality and an ability to speak and connect to people well are Obama and Thompson.  All the quailifications and ideas in the word are nothing without the ability to articulate thme and lead the people by connecting to them.

The sad part is people like that are rare.  Now Kennedy was a Democrat and a lefty but he was killed specifically because he had it.

No telling what he could have done had he lived.

10 Howie: I remember the day Kennedy was killed. I actually heard applause. Then the media stepped in. Kennedy was no saint. Kennedy was a Bill Clinton. They were clones of each other. He was elected by the narrowest of margins. 1/2 of America didn't vote for him. But he was smart enough to keep his adultry out of the oval office. Some will disagree with that statement.

11 I was speaking more about his personality and his speaking ability. He had it....  Clinton also gives a good speech.  Almost hypnotic, you really have to step back and think about who is talking or else Slick Willie will get to you.  Never saw Clinton give a bad speech.  At the end I'd have to step back and think about what he really stood for because the speech left you believing he was your bestest buddy.
