More Iranian Weapons in Iraq

iranweapons.JPGVia Pajamas Media

BAGHDAD—Maj. Martin Weber, an explosives expert, is trying to walk through a political mine field with me.

As with an ordinary mine field, you have to be very careful where you put your emphasis. Stress the wrong truth and either the left or the right wants to blow you up....

...Bear this is mind, when you watch this exclusive Pajamas Media video shot in Iraq. The video offers startling new evidence of Iran’s involvement in the insurgency. It is the first up-close, online video showing captured Iranian weapons. These particular weapons have not been shown to the public before.

Update: Ooops I forgot the link to Pajamas Media. Why'd you guys let me do that?

1 And so now what?

The Iranians have been at war with the US since 1979 and even after all of the things that they've pulled, we still won't officially recognize that. Is it merely because it's not convenient to do so yet or something else? I mean, just because the US stance doesn't make sense to me doesn't mean that there isn't a good reason out there. I'd just like to know what it is.

Blocking the Straits of Hormuz? Don't tell me there isn't a workaround for that. The Arabian peninsula is filled with people who know how to build a pipeline.

All it would take to bring them to their knees is a dozen cruise missiles to take out their oil production infrastructure. The Russians have already made it clear that they want their money on time. Taking away the only major source of the Iranians revenue would certainly put their reactors on hold indefinitely.

I just think it may come down to timing and it has never been the right time because the Iranians would cause a lot of mayhem and destruction for a while before they ran out money and gas.

2 Howie, the video upload link is on the far left of the page.

After watching this, I'm ready to take over Congress. Our kids don't have a prayer with support.

3 CozMark,
The mayhem that the Mullahcracy can cause now is less than what they'll be able to do a year from now.
Now is the time to act, and the justification is quite easy since as you correctly point out the Mullahcracy has repeatedly engaged in acts of war against the U.S. and Israel.
The regime of Iran is far more dangerous than Saddam ever was (not that I wasn't happy to see Saddam hang).
I have probably said this dozens of times, but I'll say it again. If the allies just knock out the main props of the regime, i.e. the IRGC and the Basiji concentrations with round-the-clock bombardment, the people of Iran themselves would destroy this regime. There won't be enough of AhmadiNezhad to put in a body bag.
It's not like the Iranian people are sitting idly by. Just a couple of days ago the Tehranian university students clashed with the state security forces. A couple of weeks ago, same thing in the north of the country. And before that the ten thousand women demonstrated against the regime's misogyny on the international day of womn, and so on....

5 Iran is a joke. Nothing more. The girl scouts could make them surrender in 3 days. We give far to much credit to middle eastern peoples. When get comes to a real fight they become over night cowards. Crawling from their trenches and kissing the feet of real troops. Their backward assed religion prevents them from organizing in modern force.  They will fall just as fast as Iraq or any muslim country that messed with  little Israel. Israel has never even needed to bring out its big guns to defeat 4 or 5 or those monkey countries at the same time. Why we don't just kick their asses and get it over with is beyond me. It's going to happen sooner or later. I vote for sooner. Wipe out their infrastructure and set them back a few 100 yrs.
