More Imminent Terror Attacks Expected in UK

I've been chatting with Glen Jenvey about the failed London VBIED and the Glasgow attack and he forwards an e-mail from MI5. MI5 has raised the UK's terror alert level to "Critical". According to their website: "This means that an attack is expected imminently and indicates an extremely high level of threat to the UK."

Here is the e-mail from MI5 that was just forwarded to me.

The Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre (JTAC) has raised the UK's threat level from international terrorism from Severe to Critical. This means that the threat of a terrorist attack is considered to be imminent.
This decision has been made by JTAC based on the latest intelligence. JTAC, which operates independently of Ministers, brings together all the security and intelligence agencies in order to produce a joint assessment of the threat from international terrorism.

Britain is in our prayers.

PS--I'm not terribly frightened for our British friends. Is it just me, or does this crew of al Qaeda wannabes seem even more dee-dee-dee than usual?

1 At least the Brits are good at keeping a cool head and not allowing something like this to completely throw them off their game. They carry on their lives quite normally - the best "f-you" signal you can give to the terrorists in my opinion. The Spaniards also set the bar high.

Wish I could say the same about us. We sort of lost our heads after 9/11 - which is exactly what Osama I'm sure wanted to happen.

5 Training has a shelf life. The kind of terrorist taining that used to go on in Afganistan was both comprehensive and intense. I suspect that these most recent terrorists were either untrained of have gone years without training.

This shows the importance of closing training camps and not allowing there to be terror states that provide training.

Some people lament the ability of terrorists to go to ground; they are frustrated by it. While being able to regulate their own loss rate is a tactical advantage, they do grow weaker with time in hiding.

23 I am a long time Jawa fan and I agree with Conservative Voice that Greyrooster hurts the conservative cause among many new visitors to this site. It is unfortunate that he is allowed to write such racist and often threatening statements. I was shocked what he wrote about Jane earlier, then it got deleted. The fact that some of his statements get deleted and others do not cannot help but tell some liberal visitors that the site owners, and conservatives, condone some of what he writes... yet you can google Jawa and find a string of hateful bile directed against African-Americans that still exists on the Jawa website. What a shame, especially when we have soldiers of all flavors risking their lives during a WAR right now. I think the site would be better without Greyrooster and I vote to let him get PWNED.
