More Clarity From Coffee Cup Annan

Israel "may have" committed a "war crime" with the Qana incident, says supreme do-nothing/ head of the Blue Helmet Sudan rapists Kofi Annan.

Hezbullah's indiscriminate rocket attacks on Israeli towns and civilians escaped condemnation and calls for investigation. Hezbullah's use of human sheilds and civilian homes for rocket positions and bunkers went without condemnation. No comment form Mr. What-Oil-For-Food-Scandal on the ubiquitous "White T-Shirt guy" or "Green Helmet guy" and why they were running around for hours parading corpses for Reuters and other "truth gatherers" (among them our newest, bestest friend Adnan Hajj.) No comment on why the nature of the targeted Israeli offensives and 'civilian' death tolls in Lebanon seem to be wildly exaggerated on a regular basis.

Hezbullah's human rights violations and dragging of the region into destabilization? Hezbullah's attacks on UN posts? Kidnapping Israelis and launching rockets on Israeli soverign territory? Iran and Syria admitting to starting and fanning the flames?

No investigation needed - Israel would be vindicated, and that is simply UNacceptable.

You are a worthless lying piece of garbage, Kofi Annan. I call for an immediate investigation of your role in the human rights violations and deaths of thousands of Iraqis at the hands of Saddam Hussein, your role in the human rights violations, rapes and murders of children under UN supervision in the Sudan, your role in allowing Hezbullah to fly under the radar of criticism and scrutiny in the current conflict and finally an all-encompassing investigation as to what it is you have actually accomplished in your tenure at the head of the world's most pointless and corrosive organization.

None of us are waiting up.

UPDATE: Dan Riehl kicks Annan's suggestion squarely in the jewels with "Qana Exposed."

1 The UN has been run by gangsters for 45 years. Kofi is not the worst nor the most corrupt by far. He is bad! The UN should go the way of the LoN. It was a good idea 62 years ago but it took less than 20 years to become a tool of the folk it was supposed to root out.
Bolton is the first American UN ambassador with the brains to understand this and the guts to say it! Bolton is the only good thing Bush has done this term. The UN has been so corrupt for so many decades I doubt it can be corrected. But the only man to do the job is Bolton!

Posted by: Rod Stanton at August 08, 2006 06:05 AM (Xmpee)

2 Annan is playing good cop to Bolton's bad cop...or at least Bolton will make sure that this will be the end-result. Each SC ambassador has more power than Annan. I should now, I worked on the 38th floor of the UN Secretariat. The DG's job is to chase young employees of his preferred gender.

Posted by: Jack Sanderson at August 08, 2006 06:35 AM (c1WDz)

3 If you look at it logically and objectively, Kofi's right: Israel "may have" committed a "war crime" at Qana, though the chances of that are vanishing into nothingness the more the incident is analyzed. On the other hand, Hizbullah "definitely has" committed multiple "war crimes" with their intentional targeting of Israeli civilians. See? Kofi just didn't show you the flip side of the coin.

5 Well guys, it looks like we were wrong about the Israeli's. They aren't the fiercest and bravest fighters in the world. In fact after 25 days, it seems many are ready to call it quits. That is, if you read todays article in the WaPo.

Seated nearby, Cpl. Shai Kaplan, 19, was blunt. "They are experts at deception. Everyone will think they won no matter what. That's how you win when there's a few thousand of you and 50,000 of us," he said. "The more of them we kill, the more of them who are generated. Unfortunately, this is a lost war."

Is there a more corrosive element in the US than the WaPo? If the Israeli's were that soft, they would have been routed years ago. If this was really said by someone in the army, his buddies had better give him a bed sheet party. After that he needs to be reassigned to the front.

Posted by: Cmunk at August 08, 2006 08:37 AM (7teJ9)

6 How come Israel is always "violating international law?" Oh wait, it's because they actually have a set and want to fight terrorism instead of sitting around in Armani suits and discussing how awesome they are while millions of Iraqis starve and are raped and tortured under Hussein. *deep breath*

I freaking hate the U.N. I think the US should pull out.

7 I have more on the article I commented about above. The writer is Johnatahn Finer. He worked as an Imbed during Iraqi freedom with the first Marines. I am surprised they could stomach his presence. He has also been posted at a site call Why War? I believe it was copied from the WaPo though. I am still trying to find out.

I'll give that a look - it could end up as a good NewsBusters piece, as well as another Jawa Journalism Slayer piece.

9 Why War? disseminates al-Qaeda propaganda while subverting the warr effort. Well Rusty you asked to keep a look out and this is what I found.

The site is supposed to be offering the other side. But the other side of what? I offer it up to all who wish to read it. There is way too much for me to go through but essentially, it is a library of al_Qaeda propoganda translated into English.

Posted by: Cmunk at August 08, 2006 09:10 AM (7teJ9)

10 Bingo!

Why War? is possibly a French run site. They are currently running a project called postdemocracy at this site.

http://postdemocracy.org/

If you cannot burn the time reading the AQ propaganda they are pushing, check out the post democracy site. Then practice your breathing techniques. If you are like me you will want to choke something.

Can they be shut down? How do we find out who is servicing them?

Posted by: Cmunk at August 08, 2006 09:24 AM (7teJ9)

11 Cmunk, the Israelis suffer from the same disease we do - the cancer of liberalism. It has infested their society and weakened their resolve to fight, and if they don't shake it off and get tough real quick, they may not make it. They need to quit screwing around in Lebanon and push across the whole country.

Posted by: Improbulus Maximus at August 08, 2006 09:32 AM (v3I+x)

12 Oh, and we need to let Iraq stew in its own juices while we take a break to raze Damazcus and Tehran to the ground.

Posted by: Improbulus Maximus at August 08, 2006 09:42 AM (v3I+x)

13 What I want to know is why do the U.S., Canada, Israel, UK, NZ, and other allied countries insist on remaining in this noisome disgusting cesspool of immorality that the UN has become?

Posted by: Garduneh Mehr at August 08, 2006 10:09 AM (Bp6wV)

14 I was incorrect about WW? being from France. They actually based in the US out of Swarthmore College. Here is Wikipedia's entry:

Related ideologies

Antimilitarism
Anti-imperialism
Appeasement
Pacifism

Why War?, originally started by students of Swarthmore College in October 2001, is an anti-war organization working to activate a broad, global movement for peace and justice based on the principles of nonviolence. The organization is most well-known for its involvement in the Diebold electronic civil disobedience campaign[1] and articles on the lessons that protestors can take from animal swarming.

(end)

And they publish fully translated (accurate?) al-Qeada propaganda and are working towards developeing a system of govornment to supplant democracy in the US.

16 Greyrooster - get the hint. Go dump your garbage somewhere else.

You can continue the namecalling in the comments at my blog if you want - I'm collecting them in my filter to show people - it is very amusing and childish.

Posted by: Good Lt at August 08, 2006 11:32 AM (jWYAe)

17 The Israels have always been successful by lighting fast actions with the result of taking ground.

When this action started 3 weeks ago, I and others questioned the change in tactics. I still cannot understand the Israelis action or should I say inaction. Were they attempting small scale copy our attack on Iraq? Without real UN assistance they could end up in the same situation we are in. They don't have the troops, the money or the hearts and mines of the people.
I cannot trust the French, Lebanese and African troops the UN will send in as a peace force. Hezbollah will start shit again within 6 months.
I don't have an answer short of setting Iran & Syria back a 100 years or so. But I guess that is racist since those idiots are considered brown.

18 Lt., Rooster was here long before you, and has much more credibility. If you can't refute his assertions, then it's just cowardly to delete them, especially when lefturd trolls' comments rarely get deleted. This blog is starting to suck just a bit.

20 Thanks GM.

IM -

Credibility? The guy who once called me a "Sharpton lover" has "credibility?" For what?

Heh. Bar's pretty low these days, huh?

Fweh. Maybe you're right - its probably more fun anyway to let it all hang out there to be scoffed at. You've conivnced me of the futility of this endeavour.

Greyrooster - because it's just plain pointless to keep looking for your comments, you can keep posting on my threads unmolested. Keep the greyrooster vs. "the brown people" crap to a minimum.

And by all means keep leaving little sweet profanity-laced nothings at my other site. Feel the love.

21 Hi Good Lt!
I'm not an expert in politics, but i follow what's happen with the death cult since 4 to 5 years.
It' hard to describe how i hate this bunch of asses in the air, carpet's licker, liars, hypocrite, etc.Just compare on tv between Israelis and arb politicians; it's jump in the eyes how the arabs are liars, whiners, they are never wrong; the Israelis speak the truth and are able to admit their errors.
About coffee, (i don't know if you speak french but my brother calls him "conflit anal") I agree with you 150%, but i'm asking myself when somebody will take true actions to kick his ass out anywhere?
Please do something if you can
Bye

22 Rooster has credibility because he speaks that truth. I know it's the truth because of the peculiar, high-pitched squeal it elicits from brainwashed sheeple. If you want to defeat his argument, then refute it, but if you just delete his comments, you're conceding that you cannot refute the truth of them.

25 And now your sissy ass is saying maybe I shouldn't have started shit with this guy. Maybe I should have merely posted my beliefs instead of being insulting and calling him names. Maybe he has a right to post his beliefs. I say maybe you need some of that stuff Floyd Landis was using.
A lot of it.

26 Is there a room you guys can go to and sort this out? I post about a site pushing al-qeada propaganda hoping someone will take a look since it is associated with a well known and exclusive liberal arts college in the Northeast.

But noooooooo! You guys want to burn brain cells calling each other names and pissing on each other's shoes. Shut up and do something useful. Help me sink this anarchist subversive pile of crap called Why War? and make something of your time.

Or not, the fact that Why War? is affiliated with a group that supports Hamas and Islamic Jihad is not that important. Belay That! Go to my site and click on the link!

27 Sorry Cmunk: But Greyrooster has a rule. Never strike first but always strike back twice as hard. I know its disturbing. Sometimes you have to fight for your freedom to say as you believe.
As my Uncle used to say. You don't have to fight to be a man, But sometimes you have to fight if you are one.
If I don't stand up to meatheads that think they can attack me (or anyone for that matter) for saying my beliefs then I would be as cowardly as they.
Check back in the archives and you will see that this piece of shit attacked me first. Sorry pal. Can't let this Al Sharpton wannabe get away with it.

30 Greyrooster & maxie

No offense - but you two guys these past two weeks have been particularly aggressive towards other conservatives (we do come in different stripes) here on the board. Why?

And many conservatives here have aggressively taken shots at you two during the same period. Why?

All of which tends to have less to do with the topics at hand and more to do with personality clashes - I know - been there.

Is it possible we can all pull back a bit and narrow our focus, shots, and aggressions at the other real enemies and adversaries?

hondo - a man of peace. Can I get an amen!

Turn off the hate spicket, GR. Its unecessary and unwarranted. You're making wild and hilarious accusations against me. While I'm really enjoying watching the meltdown, I think it would be to your benefit try to get a grip on your anger for your own sake. Just a suggestion. Your choice.

greyrooster - he IS a conservative! OK! So its different around the edges - we all are to one degree or another! I read him - I don't see it - Please! Cut him some slack!

Good Lt - don't delete - its poor ideological taste - even the libs/leftists don't deserve to be deleted (unless they are spammin').

Fight if you two must - fouly even - you both can take it - but just keep in mind you both are generally on the same side.

As far as this Mehr person - I don't know if he or she is Iranian - where's that come from? I initially thought Mehr was someone's sockpuppet. I've never responded to Mehr - I rarely bother to read Mehr anymore - its little more than rah rah slavish agreement with someone. You can't greyrooster be bothered by something like that?

Its not like I'm asking the both of you to start taking warm showers together and moonlight walks on the beach! just lighten up a bit.

40 Hi All,

I agree with you all here that the UN is pretty useless but I do believe with the world watching, their slow cogs will continue to turn. At the end of the day Israel will be charged with a laundry list of war crimes. There is no maybe as far as if they have or how not occurred. That list by the way is steadily building. Information is now coming to light of soldiers shooting children in the streets. It is the high child death rate, that has turned the world against Israel. You can see how the media stations are changing to agree with the people. In the end, Israel will be charged. I think it is inescapable now.

Only one comedian has top billing on this blog at the moment, and that's a tough gig to follow. Your going to have to work harder on your routine - I only got a chuckle out of that.

Posted by: hondo at August 09, 2006 05:54 AM (XrexX)

42 Hondo, I know it's heresy here to actually exhort people to do something so radical as to wake up and smell the coffee, but it's my mission, and if people won't listen to reason calmly presented, then they'll get it shouted at them from the rooftops. I know most of you feel safe and comfortable in your little McDisney worlds that you live in, and don't worry about much, because after all, the muslims don't really want to kill us, and the government's going to save us anyway; they did such a great job before and after Katrina, after all! And anyway, ultimately it's just a game they play on TV, and American Idol is about to start a new season, so it would probably suit you all better if I would stop interjecting rude reality into your regularly scheduled programming, but I won't.
Muslim cheer the deaths of innocents, but I'm the problem. Liberals enable and empower them, and repeat their propaganda, but I'm the problem. There are eleven Egyptian "students" at large right now, and without a doubt, they're planning a terrorist attack, but I'm the problem. Lefturds use this blog to endlessly propagandize and apologize for the enemy, but I'm the problem.
But ya know, I'm getting kind of tired of being a voice in the wilderness, and since I seem to be talking to sheep I think I'm just going to take it easy for a while and watch natural selection work its magic while the wolves prey on the flock. And while they're killing innocent people, just remember that Bush says islam is a wonderful religion of peace, and it'll all be better in the morning. Now let's see what's on Oprah!
